The smoothie bowl was melted, the fresh juice was pre juiced and poured in to a cup, and the zucchini noodle bowl was just... bleh. In this economy to toss a plate due to undercooked sweet potato and over cooked zucchini noodles as well as lack of flavor is sad, but expected. My advice to this establishment would be; plant based does not mean lack of flavor. Nor does it mean lack of presentation bc my food looked like it was thrown into a box. Very unappealing. Cashew ranch is impressive! Hence my two stars. Would not recommend and won't be coming back.

I grew up in Memphis, but moved to the Dallas area in 1989 almost 30 years ago. No matter where you are from, if you move away, you usually first go to the places you knew when you lived there. On a Friday night, I went to a now, world famous BBQ rib place in a basement in downtown Memphis and had a great rib dinner with my family. On Saturday, we attended my Mother-in-Law's 90th birthday party at a pool club house in Germantown with over 100 guests in a casual setting. The buffet meal for guests was catered by the "One and Only BBQ" on Kirby. I am very picky about my Q and rarely try any of the new places in Memphis when I return for a visit. Our meal, buffet style, consisted of pulled shoulder, buns, slaw, and their sauce in a bottle. I was blown away by the quality of the food, even in a catered situation. The large tin trays of pulled pork were smoked to perfection, still warm, and moist. The slaw was the perfect Memphis slaw, balanced with vinegar, sugar, and mayo. I could have made a meal of the slaw. The One and Only BBQ sauce was also very good, a balance of vinegar, tomato sauce, and sugar. It was the perfect sauce on the sandwich, or just on the meat or for that matter, the buns dipped in the sauce. If my catered meal was this good, I can't wait to return on my next visit to make One and Only BBQ my first stop, to try out other menu items. The Banana Pudding sounds like it is made the old fashion way, with homemade custard and not a pudding recipe. I will proudly promote One and Only BBQ to my Family and Friends who visit Memphis. The product I ate was as good as some of my favorite places in the past, which include, Leonard's, Berretta's, Robilio's, and Monte's. One and Only is upholding the standard of the great Memphis BBQ. This place is awesome!! We had a party of 9 and they wasted no time to accommodate our entire party. They don't sell alcoholic beverages, but they told us we could purchase beer at a nearby gas station and drink it with our meal. One of my colleagues did just that. We were amazed they allowed us to drink beverages from another business. Then they blew us away when they brought out a bucket full of ice and placed his beer in it to keep it cold!! We didn't ask for the ice, they just delivered it. The entire staff, especially David, anticipated our every need and delivered before we asked for anything. Everyone was courteous, attentive, and had a smile on their face. I work in the hospitality industry and customer satisfaction is very important to me. I expect great service and they exceeded my expectations and really impressed me. By far, the best service I experienced during my trip!! I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great BBQ in the Mempis area. read more

We started with the Cajun chicken Alfredo baked potato. It's very delicious ,cooked perfectly had the right amount of seasoning with the extra butter (a little messy) but still delicious. I Highly recommend the potatoes. They have many options to choose from for the potatoes . Then we ordered the five piece honey garlic wings w/ lemon pepper-fried hard, they were cooked perfectly. I love the combination of the season and sauce. I definitely would get the wings again. Great to order and have for game night. Last, but not least we had the cheese burger combo, is very delicious too. I gave it a 4 out of 5 because the bread was a little bit thick (for my liking) and I would prefer a little bit more seasoned on my burger, even though they gave us seasoning on the side, I really didn't need it but it was cooked perfectly and you could tell it's a good quality of ground beef, but with all that said I gave this restaurant to 8 out of 10. The service was great. The people are very friendly. They make great recommend. Oh and lastly for dessert we tried to butter roll. It was pretty good too (I prefer ice cream on mines) . But I'll definitely be back for the wings and the potatoes . I would definitely give them try if you are ever visiting Southaven. Probably the best wings I've had I ln Southaven so far. I'm sure I'll be back for more flavors to try ....

We found this place after looking for good BBQ on Yelp. It was quite a bit out of the way as we…read moretraveled back to Missouri from Gulf Shores, but it was WELL worth the detour. We tried the 6 rib combo with brisket, deviled eggs, and baked beans. They even suggested we do half the ribs in dry rub and half sauced. I am so thankful they did. The dry ribs were phenomenal. The brisket was incredibly tender and so flavorful. The baked beans were hot and just right. The deviled eggs were slightly underwhelming, the whites seemed maybe a little overcooked and tough. But you could tell the flavor was there. Everyone we came into contact with here were incredibly welcoming and helpful. I just wish we would have had space for dessert! There is some seating inside, but there's not a ton of it. It seems like they probably have quite a bit of take out and catering orders. Once we added a drink the total came to a little under $50. We will 100% be back if we are ever in the area again.
