This place is a keeper, great breakfast menu (the food is good), great service and seriously an unbeatable price. This is a community cafe that really does just that connects the community. With their community meals on Wednesday and their ability to keep costs down and help the homeless, you can pay it forward and buy a meal for someone and sponsor tables and community meals. It's such a cool place to come. All the wait staff are volunteers. The coffee is supplied by the coffee hub next door so it is way good coffee. Enjoy the massive blueberry pancakes with lemon crème or the massive yogurt parfait. All their dishes are big, low price and big portions and it's all so good. They have some great omelet options and biscuits and gravy. This is such a unique and great concept. If you love making an impact and thinking big picture One Bistro has all of that going for it. It's a massive win and hope to see more of these in the Dayton area one day.

Great food and excellent service. Feels good to do something we always do (dine out) and help someone else at the same time. The hostess was fantastic! We had salad and Italian hoagie. Very good! The house made dressings were awesome. The balsamic vinaigrette was tangy and fresh.

This is the Mission plate with burnt multigrain bread not white bread per the waitress.

Friendly service staff most were volunteers. Food was ok but one sausage to an order and no white bread for toast. The restaurant was clean and busy.

What an awesome concept! This restaurant offers meals for paying customers or those who can't afford to pay. It works on a pay it forward type concept. Volunteers run most of the restaurant with a few paid staff. We ordered from the Saturday brunch menu: French toast and eggs Benedict. Both were very good. The vibe is laid back and warm.

I really like this place. Everyone is friendly and the food is fantastic. The noise can be a bit much but I love the neighborly feel.

It is a "pay what you can" concept that benefits those who give, as much as those that receive.

Well lit, not too noisy. Nice variety on the menu. Me, my wife, my son and his wife…read more We all ordered the Buddha bowl. DIL ordered hers with tofu. Son ordered dbl chicken. Personally, I thought the regular amount of chicken was fine, but he is trying to maintain his weight, so..... Flavors? Yum!! Really plentiful portions and Tasted great! Perfect portions, great taste! (redundant, Who cares!) Nice vibes! Lighting, ambient volume, comfortable seats (not real cushiony but nice) Definitely worth a return visit! I'd recommend it to friends for sure.

Although I like the Buddha bowl, thought I'd try the Northstar burger and chicken avocado sandwich. Today was a particularly warm day for March so they had the windows open which created a nice breeze. The line took a bit of time to get to the front but the staff was extremely nice and was able to make substitutions. There a lot of seating so whether you are a party of 1 or 8 there's plenty of areas to eat. The food took about 30 minutes to arrive with the kitchen backed up. There's a self serve water station so we relaxed and took in the ambiance. There's food emphasizes fresh ingredients and the burger and chicken sandwich did not disappoint. The burger is vegetarian friendly and comes with a good portion of kale slaw. The chicken sandwich was stacked tall and super filling. Would recommend to try!
