Relaxed atmosphere diner in Springfield, Ohio. Breakfast & lunch & dinner options. Tables and decor fit the theme including red tables & records on the walls. Outdoor seating is available & that should be useful during hectic hours. Waitress was very attentive and service was quick. Fun place to try to support a local business.

The Food and Service was great. The prices are very reasonable as well. I'm definitely going back. a word of caution. the large pancakes are enormous. So go really hungry or share them. I highly recommend this restaurant.

My picky tween declared Mundy's the best breakfast she'd ever had and repeatedly asked to return... all the way from Indiana. From the kids pancakes to the Truckers breakfast special, all the breakfast dishes were a hit. I ordered a deluxe cheeseburger, which was a humongous portion of exactly what you'd expect at a diner. Service staff was on top of everything. The only (insignificant) disappointment is that the coke is canned, not fountain. It's clear why this cozy joint is popular... get there early for a table and parking!

You would drive by if you didn't look for it -- it's worth finding!! Very good coffee, would recommend they provide actual creamer rather than powdered. Otherwise, fabulous food. Friendly staff. It's obvious locals go here often bc they knew quite a few that came in. Great decor.

This is a great little gem. We eat outside and the food was amazing and the service was exceptional.

    That is a small pancake!!

We love to try local business and were camping nearby. Stopped at 9:30 on a Sunday morning with 7 people. The place is small but the staff bent over backward to get us a table next to each other. The food is amazing and you get plenty of it! They get 5 stars because they earned it with service and quality. Thank you Mundy's!!

What a great find! In town visiting family and we were looking for a warm breakfast. This place did not disappoint! The Biscuit and sausage gravy was delicious, bacon was perfect, and pancakes were wonderful. Hope to eat here again before heading home. Highly recommend, great value.

Located Right on Route 40, its truly inconvenient if you're coming from the Wrong Direction. However, its really worth it to drive past it, make a U-Turn on a Busy Highway, and then turn into the uphill drive to the private parking lot. . Meadows is VERY CONVENIENT to the Nearby Antique Mall, though, so this is a GREAT DAY TRIP for anyone making the Journey. All that being said, let's talk Food! . I was feeling a little heavy from breakfast, so I opted for the Grilled Chicken Salad. My wife, ever the Pork lover, ordered the Pork Chops with 2 Sides. Our food arrived quickly - around 10 minutes - and we were pleasantly surprised with two large dishes. . My Dish, a Grilled Chicken Salad, came in a Large Chilled Salad Bowl. To be honest, not a lot of Restaurants understand the importance and sheer luxury of chilled China ware when it comes to cool dishes like salad. . The Lettuce was chopped Iceberg. Every bite was fresh and there were no clumps of lettuce that hadn't been fully separat3d before prep. The tomatoes, were hearty Roma, and the cheese was a grated Mozzarella.Four marinated and crisp grilled to near perfection. Juicy and Crisp, these Chicken Spears were a perfect. So yummy and just barely sweetened by the vinegarette marinade. I only ate half. However, gobbled up the rest as we got home. 2 meals for me. . My Wife's Grilled zporknCops came with two sides. She chose Apple Sauce and Green Beans. The Pork Chops were also well-cooked: Crispy outside, tender within. She cleaned her plate and did the same with her beans and apple sauce. Mund you, she hadn't eaten all day, so even if she eats like a 5-foot-tall farm girl, there was enough to fill most anyone. On top of that, she left appy, so there's that. . Why a 4? Location, location, Location. If you're nearby: YOU GOTTA GO. If you're not, i can't see it being a Destination you'd seek out over a place 10 miles closer to home. Sorry to the Owners, its just a small bit of bad luck.

Plenty of parking including several handicap spaces. Speaking solely for the (all day) breakfast, food was delicious and perfectly prepared. Over easy eggs were wonderfully runny, toast had the perfect amount of butter, the bacon done exactly right, slightly crispy but soft enough to be comfortingly chewy. And a generous amount too. Turkey sausage links were as anticipated, mild in flavor, and the silver dollar pancakes were actually pretty large and quite tasty. Coffee was okay, served in a large mug. If you want milk or cream (which is probably the fake stuff) in your coffee speak up when you order, as we were not asked. Service started out somewhat shaky but improved as time went on. Then for dinner go big for a b-day: We got the tomahawk ribeye, from Woodruff farms, cooked perfectly medium rare by the staff. This was our first tomahawk ribeye, it's impressive and enough for two with leftovers. Blue cheese dip for the ribeye, yes; cold or hot, that's the question! Most impressive was how perfectly executed every dish was--the filet perfectly medium-rare, the salmon and lamb were flawless and cooked true medium and tender, the lasagna excellent, the potatoes au gratin beautifully caramelized, and the asparagus crisp-tender with a perfect char. Truly outstanding execution across the board. The restaurant matches any fine-dining spot in Dayton-Springfield but with a lively instead of stuffy atmosphere. A singer-pianist duo played jazz standards, adding a nice touch. Pricing was also very fair for the quality: most entrées were in the high $20s to $30s (the filet higher), while comparable places would be $10-$20 more for similar meals. For anyone in the Dayton-Springfield area, this is absolutely a destination. Enjoy!
