Food was great and our group learned a lot about things we thought we were doing correctly for so long (knife skills, tips, tricks). I would highly recommend those with very basic cooking skills or even people that cook quite a bit to get *at least* one class with Teri. I will likely be back for another in the near future!

Everyone had the best time, and the food was incredible. Chef Teri was super responsive from my first email, and she made the booking process easy. I had my team peruse sample menus on the Eatsies site, and we landed on grilled flatbreads with homemade ricotta and strawberry napoleon. The grilled flatbreads can be done with figs, but they weren't in season, so Chef Teri instead showed us how to make the delicious Piatti's garlic dip. Chef arrived with everything we needed (all ingredients as well as equipment). She started off the class by showing us some basic knife skills, and she shared good stories, tips, and tricks throughout the entire lesson. She was great about ensuring each of us got to try out every step so that we would really learn how to make each recipe. The combo of the grilled flatbread with the homemade ricotta (SO good!) and the garlic dip (almost like a chimichurri) was scrumptious! The strawberry napoleon was fun to assemble, beautiful, and delicious. That vanilla lemon whipped cream was *chef's kiss! We all got to enjoy the fruits of our labor right then, and we had some leftovers to send home with people. I think each of us have already made at least one of the recipes again already. The garlic dip is also an excellent marinade on any kind of meat. The entire experience was just perfect. Teri is incredibly fun and engaging, she makes recipes and techniques easy to understand and execute on, and the final product was so good. We will absolutely do more with Chef Teri in the future, and I would recommend Eatsies to everyone!

I had one Zoom call with Francesco prior to the event, and he assured me that it would be a unique, dynamic experience and that everything would go well. He is such a warm and welcoming person and I completely trusted him-- which I'm glad I did. The event was chaotic due to the number of people, but they handled it with grace and made everything fun. We had applause break out a few times-- when does that happen with adults? Not often. But they really liked making pasta and I was here for it. Because we had the event outside at Coastal Roots Farm in January, it was a bit chilly. But both Julia at the farm and the whole Cucina Migrante team pivoted well and made the best of the whole experience. I really liked that this felt like an experience and not a class. It felt fun and not forced. AND it was delicious. I think that's what you can expect from this company, so I highly recommend them.

Chef Simone was amazing! He had some of us help out in the kitchen, and that was really fun/cool to get some tips on prepping some of the items. The food was seriously fantastic. He put together a tomato sauce and guanciale pasta for us, with some side dishes (chicken and prosciutto, mushrooms, and mashed cauliflower) and finished it off with a Tiramisu from scratch! Place a special cake for me on top of that, which was probably one of the best chocolate cake/mousse desserts (sorry I don't know what it's called) I've ever had. I would 100% do this again and highly recommend to anyone looking for something different to do with a big group.

What a fun experience!!…read more I've always wanted to make pasta but ok, how though. lol Francesco walked table to table in the cooking class area and showed us how to prepare the dough, put it into the pasta sheeter and prepare each type of pasta we prefer to make. Naturally, I picked the large triangle one (i had too much (not enough?) wine so I can't recall the name) but it has tasty cheese in it so I busted out the lactose pills later. Well, the experience was fun, jokes and shenanigans galore in our party of 5 as we made the dough, cut and shaped it and in my case, filled it. When we were done, Francesco collected what we made, cooked it for us, added our desired sauce and voila! It arrived at our table in our own private room. The picture uploads are kinda out of order. Wine is first, dough in the bowl, dough in a sheet, dough cut and filled and cooked pesto dish. That wine was delicious btw. I wish I got our servers name so I could give her a shout out.

So at 100% my fault I didnt anticipate how bad parking would be so I arrived pretty late. Everyone was already getting their dough ready when I arrived, and after a while the instructor came over to let us know what to do. He asked if we had ever made pasta, my wife said she had tried but not successfully, the instructor asked what happened she said it just didn't turn out right and the instructor kept trying to figure out where it went wrong. The instructor came off very cold, and the questioning felt more like an interrogation than friendly advice, I could see my wife was getting uncomfortable so I interjected that I had never made pasta. Without looking at me he quietly stated to my wife that she would be in charge of the table and he walked off. I really thought this would be a little more fun, and interactive but for the most part we were kind of left on our own and the instructor came by to give instruction very coldly. Once we finished with our pasta the young lady assisting came out and took our pastas to boil and we sat. The pasta was nothing special, didn't really inspire me to want to try and make some at home. Some bites were hard, like it could've stood a few more minutes in the water. Also both of our dishes had pesto stains on them Overall not as fun as it sounded, instructor left a lot of opportunity on the table to make this more fun. He was very cold with his instruction. The young lady assistant was very friendly.

In fact, after his latest visit we all agreed we needed to start bringing him in quarterly. Chef's cooking style is best described as transformative. He takes ingredients you'd never dream of being the star of the dish and makes it the most delicious thing you've ever tasted. Our last dinner we reqested to be completely vegetarian and he did not disappoint. Even the non-vegetarian at the dinner was blown away and left being the perfect amount of full. My husband avoids certain veggies in our day to day (texture) and the way Chef Josh cooks - well we've never left a plate bare, I can tell you that much. And when Chef Josh isn't looking.. we may have licked our plates clean. Pickling, crisping, pureeing, caramelizing - everything he puts in front of you "WOWs". Besides the food he serves, which is well worth the money, Josh's service is unparalleled. He is prompt, friendly and wonderful to chat with. He brings everything in and does all clean up as if he was never even there. Whether it's a date night, an intimate gathering or a group to impress - I would recommend hiring Chef Josh 110%. If you're even considering a private chef, look no further because there truly is no better!

He doesn't have a set menu, but sources the ingredients the morning of depending on what looks good and what's in season. We had three or four passed appetizers, a salad course, a grouper / risotto course, and a caramel bar for dessert. Everything was so delicious and all of the guests raved. I have no idea how he was able to cook all of that food for that many people in our home kitchen and make it so flavorful. To keep all of the food at a perfect temperature must have been extremely challenging. Chef Josh was such a cool person also, entertaining, always happy, and so respectful of our home. Thanks so much, Josh. We hope to have you help us out again at our next event.
