Noel is very knowledgeable, does great job and stands by his work. I hired him to install a new outlet for the dishwasher. He installed it but then when dishwasher install company came out to install the dishwasher the outlet was not working. Noel came out the same day. He troubleshot the issue and resolved it. The issue was not with his work but with the previous electrician who replaced all my outlets and switches recently. Previous electrician was in a rush and did a bad job, he connected 4 wires per outlet which it only suppose to be 2 and he used screws to connect the wires instead of special nuts. Basically not quality work. I will never use him again. I have asked Noel to check all other outlets in the house and fix them to make sure that they are installed properly. He did everything that I have asked him to do. Noel does a great job, pays attention to details and stands by his work. His rates are reasonable. Learned a great deal from Noel. Specifically that once he is comfortable with you he will tell you just about anything... OH and no, you don't need to turn off the power when you work with electricity, (sarcasm, jsyk). Hired as a referral from a friend to inspect/fix a 2 gang switch plate, install 3 way dimmer switches, and exterior outlet. Did NOT cut the power while working. (whhhaaaaa...t) As Noel began to install the $50 Lutron (x2) dimmers that I had purchased, I asked if he wanted me to cut the electricity, (knowing if the dimmer shorted it would not work properly). Sure enough, POP and SPARK!! He didn't react at all and said it would be fine. I SHOULD have trusted my gut and tested it right then and there, but I didn't. As he worked he chatted about this and that, and I asked about his pricing on other projects we have coming up. ... Not sure why, but he admitted he raises/lowers prices based on the client and the home's condition, specifically raising prices for "rich white people." (Can't make this stuff up folks.) Contractor pricing adjustments, for whatever reason(s), happens every day all over the world, but DAMN man. Keep it to yourself. A few hours after he left I decided to check the dimmer that popped. NOPE it the dimming function wasn't working. SO, I took the faceplate off and inspected the dimmer. It was chard black at the black wire connection. THEN, about a month later the exterior wall outlet popped off and needed to be fixed --- NO return text or call back, exactly as other reviewers have stated. So disappointed. Noel is simply phenomenal. After having such a great experience with him installing an EV charger in our previous home, we hired Noel to do a bunch of work in a new home we just purchased. We had him reinstalling the EV charging station to new outlets, adding recessed lights, hanging and installing all of our TVs, installing kitchen and dining light fixtures, ceiling fans, and a heater for the bathroom, setting us up with a robust Wi-Fi network throughout the house, and adding light switches for new lights in closets. This review is overdue. I had what I would think would be a nightmare job for an electrician. I wish I had before and after pictures to show. I had bought a large property about five years back which was a foreclosure. It had stairs running throughout the back landscaping. Throughout the retaining walls and stairs behind the house were about 40 holes with electrical wires sticking out where lights should have been installed. I have no idea how long the property sat like this before I bought it with those wires just hanging out all over the property with the sun beating down on them. But it took me five years of remodeling before I got to this project, and it had probably been like that for at least five years before I got here. So, I wanted lights put into the walls and stairs where there were supposed to be lights but somebody had never finished the job. Noel took on this job and charged a reasonable price considering all the work that went into it. Consider that wiring is run underground all over the property to run power to these lights. Noel found the wires and how they had been run and, where they had been cut or weren't working properly anymore, he set up a new power source. He installed lights and managed to get them all up and working from one switch inside my back door. Not only that, but some of the stairs had not been finished properly so the holes needed to be made bigger and then the stairs had to be patched and he even found a couple guys to do that work! Noel did a great job for me three years ago installing the deck lights. However, after I talked to him on the phone two weeks ago, he literally disappeared?! He told me to confirm with him about installing ceiling fans but after I called him multiple times and left texts multiple times. He didn't respond at all. Not even one text or phone call to tell me if he was sick or on vacation. I still have no idea what have happened to him and I think this is really unprofessional. I am really disappointed. This is an updated review. On 1/11, Noel finally contacted me and explained that his truck broke, needed to be fixed, and all his equipment was on the truck. I wish he could let me know that situation earlier. But based on his previous work on my deck lighting two years ago, I am changing the review rating. He did an excellent job on the deck lighting. Noel showed up 1/18 and installed my two heaters/fans for the bathrooms. I couldn't be happier!!!! I have been looking for electricians and contractors to help installing but all of them whom I consulted told me that the jobs would be major tasks and would cost me a fortune. But Noel showed up and did each of the heater/fan like a piece of cake. He is not only really professional, he also knows all the tricks and turns to make things work the easiest way. Noel quite literally saved this house. My problem occurred on a Friday afternoon when most other electricians were done for the week. I had a circuit was live only when the air conditioner was on -when the air conditioner was off the circuit was off. Noel methodically went through my entire electrical panel and nothing was obvious. As a last resort he checked the main breaker and sure enough that had fried and had taken the bus bar with it. This house could have gone up at any time.
