Turns out that it has been broken for THREE YEARS. These races are pretty pricey, and they make you pay for an annual membership as well, so it's kind of crazy that they don't have a working AC in Texas. I asked if there were fans, and they literally have one fan. We waited an hour for a ten minute race. It was fun, and I can really see the appeal for teenage boys to flock here, which was the major demographic I saw. One of the employees was really rude when I didn't have my feet in the right place while he was doing the safety check. He could've just told me what to do politely, but he was so disrespectful for no reason. My car wasn't even turned on yet.

Their packages are a great deal, you can eat and drink all day (great for the kids to pop in and get a drink or snack when needed and go back out. The salad bar alone is enough reason for me to go back to eat there. Everything was fresh and crisp on the salad bar. The pizzas and other food were replenish non-stop and it was always hot and fresh. They always had cups, ice, and drinks available. I am serious. I'm picky and I can't think of something to complain about here. The rides are always a hit with the kids. Mine will spend 8 or 9 hours there - happily. My husband joked that it should be a place for summer camps. 4 of our group didn't want the buffet and got burgers and taquitos from the restaurant. my husband is quite the food snob and said that the burger was awesome and gave me a bite. I agreed. The bacon was like a thick cut slab of pork belly. If I didn't enjoy the salad bar so much I would definitely get the burger, but I can have the best of both worlds and eat some of his next time. Their inside arcade has so many options and the games all work. I'm just so grateful that this place exists. Austin's management - you're doing an incredible job. We are fans!

We had tickets for one attraction each but couldn't even use them. There was virtually no staff present at most areas such as pull tables, mini golf, even nobody at the gift shop/prize shop. The food at the buffet was also very sad. Mac&cheese was tasteless; all pizza options had huge bubbles of dough, meaning it was not cooked properly, also pretty much flavorless. We skipped salad bar and desserts. We didn't spend much time there and left in less than an hour.

They have a really neat program to teach drivers the techniques for rally driving and it works. Wes and Scott were super and really focused on safety and having fun. Their program is focused on showing you what needs to be done, doing the skills, taking a break to let is soak in, and then doing it again. It's very well structured and by the end of the day they were doing the slalom course with a lot of confidence. As for the team, I didn't meet anyone at Rally Ready that wasn't outgoing, personable, and just plain nice. They love rallying, but are genuinely good people. It's not about pulling people in to stack the house, but about teaching a subject which they are passionate about. Thank you Wes, Scott, Dave and the whole team at Rally Ready for making my son's experience the best ever.

Flew to Austin to go to the MotoGP motorcycle races this year at Circuit Of the Americas (COTA) as…read moreit is one of the newer tracks in the U.S. and MotoGP no longer comes to Laguna Seca in California. Comparing the tracks and the area surrounding it, I can understand why the race moved. The track is obviously fantastic as the host F1, Indy, NASCAR along with a ton of other events, but there is a ton of space around the track to watch races; from a variety of grandstands to areas on the lawn, there is a place for everyone. There are a ton of vendors with a variety of foods, merch, and other race specific merch to purchase (Ie. Motorcycle accessories, parts, etc for motorcycle races, etc). They are also building on to the venue with various amusement park rides and to suit family members who may not be as interested in racing. The investment in the venue is awesome! Recommendations: the venue is pretty big so getting familiar with it before hand is a good idea. The is a COTA app you can download which has your tickets, tack maps etc. You can walk around most of the track (not the whole thing) or use the trolley which can save allot of time if you want to get some place in a hurry. There is also an underpass which can cut walking time from one side of the track to another. We will defiantly return to COTA in the future for future races and recommend it to you as well!

Cold, windy, but still so worth it. Spent hours here walking around. Checking out all the 250+ food…read moretrucks. Crazy insane, nothing I've ever experienced. The weather got a little yucky. Started sprinkling, then slowly turned to rain. By the time it was lightly raining, I had seen everything. Took a ton of pictures. Grabbed some food and just enjoyed everyone walking around with either a huge turkey leg, big baby bottles, buckets of food, 3 foot long meat on skewers. It was pretty insane to watch. The whole place was mapped out really well. Easy flow walking pattern. Water stations and bathrooms marked with huge flags. Lots of tables and chair for seating while you eat. Also an area of tables and chairs that was covered and also with a big DJ stage. Parking was easy. They charged $15.00 to park. There was a tram that would pick you up. I actually walked in, but took the tram back to my car. Leaving was confusing. You're just following cones out. So I followed the cones, and I was only able to make a right turn, whereas I came in, I should have made a left. But ok, let's just follow where the cones tell me to go. Next thing I know I'm only able to go into another parking lot. And this lot charged $30.00 so I lucked out being at the other lot, but okay, so here I am in another lot when I'm trying to drive out of here. I ran over a cone and made my own lane. Finally I exited out. All in all, security was nice when I came in. I had a small clear bag and my empty Yeti. I never filled my Yeti with the water they provided. If I was in dire need of water I would have gotten water. But I was good and it definitely wasn't hot. I would do this again. Some better planning in my part. Head phones. Would have liked to have listened to my own music and been in my own world. Small to go containers with leak proof lids. The food was large portions. So once you have 1 meal, you're kind of full to try other things. Hopefully I know the next time this happens, and I'll be better prepared. Really fun and a cool experience.

I looked for a Corvette, because it's his favorite car, but they didn't have one. He drove the Ferrari Portofino. He had 2 laps with an instructor and 3 laps where he drove. I also paid for the video plus photo package. We got the video but no photo. Nevertheless it was so much fun. There were a lot more people than I anticipated driving that day. You have to wait your turn and they give you helmets to wear. The track has several turns and reminded me of a driving game. He had so much fun. He said he would love to do it again! If you can afford it, try it. I have to say the price was cheaper than a couple other places that offer this type of service in Texas. Everyone I saw leaving looked really happy.

The floors hadn't been mopped. Old food and sticky drink spills on the trash cans near birthday areas at opening. Fronts of trash cans were filthy, didn't want to push them open to throw stuff away. 0 star: operations manager. Staff told me on phone I could bring only cash to pay for balance of a birthday party. Ops manager insisted on interrupting me when I wasn't speaking to him at the counter when i questioned being demanded of a credit card. He was being short and dismissive. After cutting me off more than once I told him I wasn't done speaking and he says "don't threaten me". That little line has one purpose: shift blame and responsibility away from your staff and onto me, the payng customer. All this is taking place in front of my grandson, the birthday boy. That ops manager can hide behind his retail "get out of jail free" line. He can insult me in front of my grandson because i don't want to ruin that 8 year old boy's birthday party. So what can i do? I'll be sure to share this story on every online review platform I can find, as often as they'll allow it, and keep the story fresh out there. That's what I can do now that the party is over. We dry camped overnight at Little River Dragway on June 6th in order to attend a private event on…read morethe grounds the following morning that was hosted at the venue the following day. The June 6th drag race was a bonus to this stay as we hadn't been aware that the strip had reopened for their regular season. As I've never attended races in person, it was definitely an exciting night. This venue does not take credit/debit cards, so remember to carry cash for concessions if you would like to purchase refreshments from the onsite vendors. Hearing protection is very important if you are on site for the races or time trials before hand as some of these engines are insanely loud. Keep in mind that the stands are not shaded and you will want sun screen. We look forward to attending the regular races again later in the season and hope to attend another event in order to enjoy the quarter mile strip in our our rally car or on our motorcycle.
