This newly opened restaurant is pretty huge inside, clean nice decoration with bar area. We are greeted at the door with a warm welcome. They serve dim sum along with Chinese dishes. You just check what you want to order on the menu list and they will come and get the paper. Easy order system. Dumplings are good. I liked the vegetable dumplings the best. The vegetable's soft but crunchy texture was perfect. The egg tart was soft and warm. It melted in my mouth. These 2 are my favorites. Egg custard bun ( black one), the custard was not what I expected. It has a rough sugar texture when I expected smooth custard inside. Soup dumplings were good, but dry on the top. There are not many dim sum places in this valley area, so this is one of the best ones. However, compared to the ones in LA and OC, I gave 4 stars. read more

Horrible food. I had a yen for some fried dumplings so I thought I'd try out my local One More Bite. Everything except the shumai and, maybe, the wings, were terrible. Those fried dumplings? Rubbery and flaccid and tasteless. So were the onion pancakes. The chichen wings were just okay. AND WAS THIS PLACE CHEAP? The only really tasty bit was the dipping sauce and they only gave me a tablespoon, and I'm not kidding. And this was a more than $40 order, $54 with delivery. This place hits if you are in the mood for dim sum, plus they have other Asian cuisines that are solid and tasty. Everything we had tasted as expected, was fresh, and seemed to have high quality ingredients. As far as dim sum we got the pork XLB, and pork, mushroom, and shrimp shumai which I'll be definitely ordering again. Their fried calamari tasted like Tawainese popcorn chicken, which my mom really liked, and the shrimp tempura, and seaweed salad did what they were supposed to do. Their fried udon noodles were also great and a nice option instead of your typical chow fun noodles. It's kind of random, but delicious! When I first saw this place on Yelp, I thought the heavens ahead opened and rained down great blessing of good dim sum on the Murrieta/Temecula area. Sadly I was left disappointed not by the food but by the price. Maybe I've been jaded by the SF Bay Area where I grew up and the abundance of really good dim sum, but I just think three pieces of har gow should never cost more than $3. I mean, something that you can pop into your mouth and consume in less than 6 seconds should just have a cap on cost. The thing that really pains me is that the food is high quality and delicious. In fact I would be able to justify paying their prices IF they were located in SF or NYC. Alas, Chinese food in the IE will always need to be priced as low as possible because there aren't enough Asians here to justify high prices (hint hint). read more

So last night I was looking for places to eat and figured I'd try the dumplings here for the first time. Walked in looked at the menu and ordered chicken egg fried rice and pork long bao To-Go at 7:17pm. They have this cart they put to-go and pick up orders on right underneath the window you can see into the kitchen. As I'm sitting on this chair I was checking my phone frequently so I didn't see when exactly my order was placed on this cart. After a while I figured that one of the few order on my cart could have been mine but they didn't walk up and hand it to me or try to get my attention in any way shape or form. Around 7:40 or so I was wondering what was going on with my order because I saw 2 families get sat and served their dumplings while I was waiting. I figured that giving the kitchen about 20-25 mins to dish out a to-go order is pretty average especially seeing how you can clearly see one of the cooks just standing there with nothing to do at times. I saw on numerous times the lady at the register who took my order look at the to-go/pick up order carts multiple times and never say a word to me so I figured my order wasn't there. About 20 mins later at almost 8pm one of the guys finally comes up to me after waiting for 45 mins to confirm my order and sure enough one of the orders on the to-go cart was mine and had been sitting there for about 20+ minutes By the time I got home the food was room temperature and wasn't enjoyable. The long bao seems to be pretty decent and I'd imagine quite good when fresh but I have never in my life seen Chinese chicken fried rice with 0 color. There was no sauce or any flavoring added to the chicken or rice. I've lived in Japan for a few years and had Chinese friends that took me to amazing Chinese restaurants, I've also visited china twice and have never seen any authentic Chinese fried rice not have any color or flavor. It's kind of weird to ask people to pay $16 for something that has no flavor and costs $3 to make. I'm usually not the type of guy to be a Karen, I've worked at restaurants when I was young and understand, but if they offered like a free drink or refunded half the price or something other than "sorry" after making eye contact with me numerous times and not letting me know through gesture or anything that the order that was sitting there for 20+ minutes was mine then I would've been totally fine. Ordering to-go and sitting there just as long or longer than I would have dining in was a little annoying. read more
