They lied to me about free resizing of a gift. They said if she brought it in before the plastic security tag was removed they would resize for free. Today she went in and they charged $10. If they will lie about this I can no longer trust them. To bad I have spent a lot of money there over the years and sent them a lot of business. I have no problem paying for service, i have a problem being lied tooThere is too many good retailers to do business with liars. I will possibly get my $10 back when I go down with the receipt, but there goes an hour or two of my time. I will post an update, if they return the money. Update: The owner contacted me and tried to make it right. There is no resolution that will make my gift to a loved one a non-burden now. There is no removing the bad experience. There is no returning the time wasted on this. I am out $10 because she put it on her card and it can only refund to her card. There is not a chance I would ask her to drive 100+ miles to get $10 back. I do commend him for reaching out and hopefully this will fix things for future customers. I am raising his review from 1 to 2 stars, because they reached out. To be fair the young man caught in the middle was following a store policy and was caught in the middle, while the salesman misinformed us of the policy. The owner Pejman Jadidi of One More Time is an absolute pleasure to work with and this Yelp review is way overdue. I have been visiting this store for over 10 years now. I have had everything a basic repair to even having him fix a bracelet of mine. He and his staff have always been helpful, professional, courteous and very fast when it comes to getting my watches fixed. I don't own very expensive watches but I have never felt any type of pretentious attitude from anyone there, (considering they carry a vast collection of very high-end timepieces). I took my brand new Nixon watch still in the box to this place to remove a couple links since the band was too large for my wrist. It did take only about 15 min for them to remove the links and cost $10. Not bad I thought, though once I got home and tried on the watch I inspect the watch it had major scratches where you remove the pin for the links not only that but the whole watch was dirty and smeared! They didn't even bother to take 10 seconds to wipe it clean of their fingerprints......... 3 Weeks later go in for a new spring for the same watch, charged $6 for something that costs .50 Would not recommend them to anyone! read more

My grandma bought me a Nixon watch from here for Christmas and it was too big, but my grandma said that they would take out links free of charge if I told them that she had purchased it there. So, I went there and they refused to do it. They wanted to charge me $10, unless I had a receipt (it was a gift...one that I knew I wanted to keep!). That's a bad business practice and terrible customer service. They have not only lost my business, but my entire family's, including my grandparents (who love their bling) for a service that would have taken 5 minutes at the most! If ever there was an establishment worthy of ZERO stars, this would be it. Brought four watches here for battery replacement, paid $9 per battery, within a few days one of them stopped working again. Went back to break them off a lil WTF with a side of suck-it-easy-fatboy. When we actually arrived grace won the moment and we asked them to look at it and replace the faulty battery they had just put in. Herpaderp behind the counter cracked open the watch and insisted that the battery wasn't one of theirs. At this point my brother proclaimed WHAT TOMFOOLERY IS THIS?!? To make an already too long story even longer...dude could NOT wrap his tiny brain around the fact that they basically charged me for battery replacement but never bothered to actually perform the work. Shady dudes. Steer clear. Or at least make them show you the work they've supposedly performed. read more

Went into this store to replace batteries on two watches because I received a coupon for $6.99. I didn't think I would get both batteries at that price, but I was hoping so. Anyway, I dropped off the watches and was told that they would need about 20 mins -- great. Well, I returned and presented the coupon and was rudely told that there was no way the coupon would apply to my Movado watch batteries and was charged over $25 -- quite a bit more than I anticipated and more I had been charged at another watch store. We have a very bad experience here returning a watch. Even though their receipt says they will "gladly" refund any watch that is returned within 7 days, it turned out that this is not the case. The employee and manager there repeatedly lied and gave us the runaround in order to avoid giving us the refund. Eventually they finally gave in and gave it to us, minus an $85 restocking fee of course. If that's not enough, the prices for the watch here was nearly double the price that the manufacturer states on their website. This, in spite of the fact the employee lied and told us they do not mark up their prices at all. I highly suggest not doing business with these people; you will overpay for terrible service. read more

I bought my watch there and wanted to add a link(it's ceramic) and they kept it for 3 weeks at which point when I went in there they had replaced it with a metal link and still charged me the price agreed upon for a ceramic link. I took a brand new watch here to get sized and I forgot to go back and pick it up before I left the mall that day. When i called a few months later after forgetting all about it , he told me that I did not leave it there. I even had the card they give you that you have to give them back when you pick it up. I bought a watch here and it stopped working within a couple weeks. I took it for a battery and it still didnt work. I then asked if he (Pejman) would handle it for me. He told me to ship it to the company and he would pay for the shipping...this was underwhelming at best. He was very short and unwilling for the most part. Im dissapointed in his customer service. Greeted right as we walked through the door and very friendly. They managed to have my exact watch band down to color and pattern. For my girlfriend's watch they not only out her old clasp on the leather band, but when we picked up to replace her battery they also set the time. Great finishing touch to great service. We have purchased several watches from One More Time and replaced many batteries. Recently we moved out of the area and we still bring our watches there - that's how good the service is! My husband has an expensive watch and he won't let anyone else change the battery except Pejman. If you're in Ventura, you should definitely visit the store. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. We brought in a practically brand new watch, My brother had only worn it twice before but it needed a change of battery so we brought it to OMT. We got it back a couple days later, payed and didn't notice the back of the watch had a dent and scratches on it as if they tried opening the back with the wrong tool. When we told them, they refused to acknowledge their mistake and refused to replace the back of the watch or refund us. The owner even laughed at us and said we were making it up. We ended up having to file papers with the Better Business Bureau. I was appalled at the poor customer service and dishonesty of this place. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. read more

After I dropped off my mom's watch for a battery, I couldn't help but look at the (many) watches in the store. I had been searching for a present for my boyfriend's birthday for months so I asked the owner if he could show me a few in the store. He was very helpful and took the time out to explain the differences between several of the brands in the store.
