    Horchata latte
    Daphne S.

I've been here many many times and loved it every time. The spring horchata latte is amazing. Perfectly flavored and not overly sweet. The coffee is very smooth and creamy. It does melt very quickly if you don't drink it fast enough. There is lots of seating open inside and out. The garage door opens as well to let light and air in. Parking can be tricky. Worth the stop.

The inside was very cute and cozy and the menu was pretty straight forward. Although the Vanilla Latte was good, it was a bit more on the sour side to me. It wasn't overly sweet which I appreciate but the overall taste just wasn't my favorite. My friends Horchata Latte wasn't bad, so a good choice if you're a fan of Horchata!

Great neighborhood coffee shop! Division has some of my favorite coffee shops in town, and Good Coffee certainly adds to that. They have a curated selection of seasonal drinks along with their staple menu showcasing espresso and tea. They also have pastries from Tanaka, another great local Japanese eatery. The seasonal menu changes every quarter highlighting innovative lattes and teas that can't be missed. I tried their smoked caradmon assam latte and it was delicious! I love cardamon and the assam tea flavor brought a hint of "earthy-ness" to the warm spices. It was a great spring drink. I also got a kabocha squash danish and that was delicious! Flaky and savory, it was the perfect pairing for my drink. You can't go wrong at Good Coffee, and I love coming here to study or just to take a quiet morning to myself. Good Coffee is definitely good and they keep me coming back!

The cutest little coffee shop in Portland! We stumbled across this coffee shop as we were on the waitlist for brunch across the street. The barista was so kind, helping us by explaining the flavors and offering alternatives to the preset menu. We ordered 2 drinks from the seasonal menu -- the Iced Matcha Lavender and Cherry Chili Cacao Latte. We got both with oat milk. They were both delicious! Despite the chili in the latte, it wasn't burn your mouth spicy, which was great! But it had a gentle kick. The matcha and lavender fused together really well and neither overpowered the other. There is lots of natural light from the floor to ceiling windows, and additional lamps as well! Would be a super cute spot to work in. We quickly found free street parking.

Wonderful neighborhood coffee shop. Great seasonal (rotating menu) we tried the fig latte and a regular almond milk latte and they were both delicious. I appreciate the friendly & quick service.

I was visiting from out of town and was trying different cofffee shops. Amazing coffee and blueberry scone was delicious. The coffee shop was aesthetically pleasing with the open garage and plants.

Great spot for nice warm cups of coffee and tea! I also was social chatting with a regular customer while I was waiting for my tea and they have mentioned that the muffins were very delicious, and it looks they were very popular- did not try them myself, at least not yet! The coffee shop has great seating areas, and nice music. The only thing I would recommend to the management team is maybe have more power outlets around the seated area. Also it has nice lighting. Great spot for work, personal time, and school work.

Super friendly. The staff made me want to come back. The coffee was made well. I ordered a flat white with whole milk. The service was fast. It's a bit pricey is the only deterrent, but doesn't negate a star for me.

Marionberry cacao latte (12 oz) and banana chocolate chip muffin

I am a sucker for cute coffee shops, and this is definitely one of them! This place has a lot of big windows with natural lighting. There are several tables, which makes it great for those who need to study. And each table has a cute little plant decor on it. This was my first visit here, and I was greeted immediately upon walking in. I felt very welcomed here, and the baristas were prepared to answer any questions I had. I ordered the marionberry cacao latte and paired it with a banana chocolate chip muffin- both were delicious! Overall, great experience, and I will be back!

    Cold brew
    Jenny C.

This is based on my experience with the cold brew. I ordered a 16 oz cold brew for $3.75 and immediately regretted not getting the matcha lavender latte. The cold brew is very mellow and slightly sour. It tastes a bit weak to me. I'm drinking this undiluted. I imagine milk would only make this drink more bland. The space is nice and has a mix of tables and counter seating. Lots of people tapping away on laptops. The music is a bit loud so I think I'll be leaving as soon as I finish my drink.

Had the Spiced Fig Latte with oat milk and it was so delicious!

My coffee was so flavorful and delicious! And of course, you've gotta love the latte art touch. It's a great place to sit and have coffee with a friend or set up and work/study for a bit.

Service was fast, had a lavender latte that was very enjoyable. It's small inside but has just enough space to spend some time.

The caramel taste homemade and while it may not be for everyone it was a bit over cooked giving the otherwise very sweet drink a touch of bitter bite at the end. While I didn't stay, the shop was lovely and unique with its tables and floor seating. If in the neighborhood, this is a great spot to pause for a bit between the many shops around. This is nothing on the shop, but I always warn when places are in those older parts of town, ie no parking lot and very small congested side streets around. Be care and slow finding parking as it can be a challenge. For me, this shop is worth it.

Located on Hawthorne just past the curve at 50th, they've got plenty of free street parking in the nearby blocks. The intentions were genuine and things have progressed in a way where Albina Press is one of the most recognized coffee brands in the city. It's not too dissimilar from its OG sister location in North Portland (#3), where they still brew high quality caffeinated drinks with the vibes of a homey communal space with chairs, couches, and individual tables for a proper coffee date, WFH worthy WiFi, and plenty of anti-war propaganda in the self-serve water area in the back. The latte art was on point, the cold brew was most definitely strong, cafe au lait was milky and foamy in the best way, and the americano drinks were fabulous. While their hours (#4) aren't particularly suited for after-work hours, they do an excellent job of keeping their space clean and the vibes low key throughout the morning and afternoon. Prices are good for Portland standards. Most drinks are $5 and under, even for the largest sizes. The limited but high quality pastry selection is also appreciated. The service was good overall, just be certain with the order and don't be afraid to ask for recommendations. Lines can happen, albeit rarely, and I would encourage most folks to drink the coffee on the spot.
