Inside, they have cozy and spacious setup with adequate space for seating. For their menu, they have a nice selection of coffee, matcha, and other bites to choose from. Beautiful and bright! Love the space and design with the vinyl music ambiance. Vanilla bean latte - 4/5 not too sweet with a dark roast espresso latte taste. Great milk to espresso ratio to let you taste the coffee flavor. Strawberry matcha - 5/5 well whisked matcha with real strawberries! I love when places use real strawberry and whisk it into the milk before the matcha is added. I hope they add this to the regular menu because I think it was just a valentines special. read more

I was super excited to try this spot, but sadly i was left both dissapointed and confused. I saw the Ube Coconut Cloud on the menu and was expecting something decadent and exciting, but after I ordered I was surprised to see my drink being made. They literaly poured a can of coconut water over ice and topped it with a tiny bit of Ube cream. I was like, wait did i just pay $6 for a canned coconut water with some cream I'll give it to them, the Ube cream on top was really good and I wish there was more. I just couldn't believe that the only thing they made was the tiny layer of foam on the top. I keep coming back for the ube cloud drink. I've never had anything like it across all the hip Asian-owned cafes in Portland, so this is a superstar drink for me. Service is friendly. Very cute stylistic pieces surround the barista area including lots of green plants, excellent record collection and turntable, punk-enthused signs, and Sonny Angel figurines. People seem to use the space for a good mix of work and conversational meet ups. I wish there were more seats and that they would stay open later! It took awhile for our bagels to come out and it was burned in spots, tastes more like white bread than bagel. To make matters worse the espresso has no character. I've been here twice already and ordered the same drink twice: the tiramisu latte! It is on the pricier side but you are getting what you pay for, a yummy tiramisu flavored drink. The interior is decorated beautifully, I enjoyed the little trinkets displayed throughout and the pops of blue on the chairs :). Other than tiramisu latte, they offer a variety of other fun flavored drinks I would like to try next- they have a blueberry matcha and an ube drink!! Service wise I felt was just okay, maybe because they have been busy and have only 1-2 staff working at a time, so it helps to be patient while waiting for your drink :D! One of my absolute favorite cafés in Portland -- and for good reason! They offer such unique flavors, and I was so excited to bring my sister here today. I'll definitely be back again. I tried the chocolate cold brew with Earl Grey cold foam, and even though I'm not usually a cold brew kind of girl, I'd still recommend it to most people. It was smooth, creative, and definitely different (I probably wouldn't get it again just because of my personal preferences, but it was well made!). My sister, who isn't much of a coffee drinker, loved her tiramisu latte -- it was absolutely delicious and totally her vibe. I also appreciate that they offer different sizes, even when you're drinking it for here instead of just to-go. I was walking around Division one night and was able to peer into this space and bookmarked it to check it out during the day! Better Days has such a cute space with natural lighting, bar seating, communal seating, and smaller tables so you can come with different types of groups. Before coming I was interested in checking out photos and the Tiramisu latte looked divine so I had to try this when coming to visit. I came during a weekday and it was still pretty busy with people working so be sure to come early to grab prime seating by a window. The Tiramisu latte was so good! I can see why it's a favorite and would get it again. Loved the cold foam and really wakes you up. It was sweet but not as sweet as I was expecting which was a nice surprise. The other lattes looked delicious too so it was hard to pick but makes me want to come back to try the rest of their menu. They even have food to order so you can camp out all day. The big, bright space is the appeal at this new neighborhood cafe. It has a funky fun decor with the vinyl spinner theme where the barista gives off a DJ feel. The coffee is good, and I did like their version of the trending tiramisu latte. Food is decent as well, not necessarily anything special. Maybe it's because I just ordered a tuna melt that felt like something I could make myself. I think the only downside is service feels a bit off. One, seems weird that they don't offer glasses and water dispenser, at least in my early visits. And the guy making the coffee isn't very friendly.
