It was like Portland in the late 1990s, y'all. And not just because PM Dawn was in the speakers. Genuine nice and mind your business kind of place in those minutes I sipped while awaiting my BFF (also from the 90s). I hope to make it back over the Other River to see if it was a moment, a mood, or enduring magic. Made my morning.

Canelli is moist and yummy inside and super crisp on the outside winner winner winner. The Mexico, roasted coffee beans made a very deep robust, medium rich, slightly bitter, but well balanced, sweetness, and acidity macchiato. I noticed they have different coffees, depending on the season from around the world. Cozy coffee bar, small café, and rad-cool-dope hipster vibe. Winner winner winner. Love the vibe, the music on record playing vinyl "old school" LP 45 - way cool! And the people serving it up "bitchin" were friendly and knowledgeable. Winner winner winner. Also have some Japanese finger foods and smoked salmon that need to be investigated on the next stop. I like good coffee often and a sweet treat occasionally, and the coffee, desserts and peeps were all winner winner winner for me - coffee, Portlandia style!

I chatted with the barista, he was super nice and had some time to chat, so talked coffee and what they were brewing, which was the house blend and a single origin, I asked for one of each. The single origin was light and fruity as I'd expect, nice acidity and a crisp finish, whereas the house blend, their Deviation Blend, had a stronger body and less acidity, but still managed to get in some good notes of dried fruit and a nutty flavor. Both were perfectly pulled, with nary a bitter or sour note to be found. All in all, a great little quick trip for coffee, a place I'd definitely go to again.

Luckily, we snagged a parking spot right in front of the shop. As we entered, the baristas were friendly and welcoming. We ordered a drip in a to-go cup and my partner couldn't stop talking about how great the cup of coffee was. We tried buying a bag of Galaxy Hops co-fermented beans, but unfortunately for us they sold out in both locations. Overall, highly recommend! The sourdough Swedish cardamom bun and it paired perfectly with the coffee. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and amazing drinks. Definitely recommend stopping here if you're in Tillamook!
