Great coffee, cute shop, and great value! The baristas are so friendly and happy to come up with off menu drinks for you. They give you the option for light or dark roast too and this cup is definitely better priced than other shops in the area. Helps that the cafe is super cute, inside and out! Definitely my go to coffee spot now

Been going to this coffee shop periodically when I want to take my work outside of my home office. It's got a rustic/industrial vibe, complete with remnants of cycling accessories. Cozy, little spot that has the perfect touch of indoor plants and greenery. Definitely my style! Honestly feeling so fortunate that this spot exists on this side of Pearl District as businesses unfortunately seem to be lacking out on the north side. Service is always top notch here, no matter who the barista is. I usually order a latte with non-dairy milk (you have a choice between coconut, almond, or oat milk - with an extra charge). I especially love that you have the option of choosing which roast for your drink (light roast or dark roast). For lunch, I got the lunch special, which is a tuna and cheese sandwich that comes with a pickle and a side of chips. Super delicious and tastes like it's fresh and made-to-order. My pug, Milo, also loves this spot as he gets constant rubs and snacks from the baristas and a bowl of water to keep him hydrated while I work throughout the day.

Delicious coffee. Friendly service. Bought some beans to take home. We'll definitely come back again.

In "Coffee City" Courier carved out its own Portlandia coffee niche!…read more Really delicious "bitchin-tasty" Canelli and macchiato. Canelli is moist and yummy inside and super crisp on the outside winner winner winner. The Mexico, roasted coffee beans made a very deep robust, medium rich, slightly bitter, but well balanced, sweetness, and acidity macchiato. I noticed they have different coffees, depending on the season from around the world. Cozy coffee bar, small café, and rad-cool-dope hipster vibe. Winner winner winner. Love the vibe, the music on record playing vinyl "old school" LP 45 - way cool! And the people serving it up "bitchin" were friendly and knowledgeable. Winner winner winner. Also have some Japanese finger foods and smoked salmon that need to be investigated on the next stop. I like good coffee often and a sweet treat occasionally, and the coffee, desserts and peeps were all winner winner winner for me - coffee, Portlandia style!

Courier has became a favorite coffee shop over the years. It's tiny and they're always busy. It's the perfect snack to go along with some of their great tea or coffee. I don't love coffee black normally, but I like theirs on its own. Seating is limited but if you can snag a seat inside, you can hear their music - they have a record player and my mom loved the jpop old album from the 70s/80s that they had on today. Staff is awesome and friendly. I love this spot and wish they had longer hours in the afternoon for shaved ice.

My friend and I got lucky with street parking and just walked a block over. It's a small space but there was plenty of seating when we got there. I got the iced black sesame cream latte and my friend got the iced matcha latte and blueberry lavender scone. Both drinks were so well made and delicious. The scone was flavorful and not dry at all. I would definitely come back here the next time I visit!

I was looking for a specialty coffee to help power through some extra work on a Friday when I…read morehappened to come across this café. The menu looked intriguing, so we decided to give it a try. The café itself is airy, bright, and beautifully decorated with l blue accents. It's also in a convenient location with street parking, making it an easy place to stop for coffee at most times during the day. There was only one person working, which meant the wait was a little longer than expected since a few people were ahead of us. it was clear they were working as quickly as they could, and they handled the rush well. I ordered the Black Sesame Latte, while my husband went with the Lavender Sea Salt Foam Latte. Both drinks were enjoyable, but neither completely lived up to their potential. I could taste subtle notes of black sesame, but the flavor was so restrained that it never really became the star of the drink. I was hoping for a much bolder, nuttier profile. The lavender latte fared better and floral notes came through nicely, and the sea salt foam was well executed. At $8-9 per drink, though, I expected a little more. With so many excellent specialty coffee shops in the Portland and Beaverton area, the competition is tough. They have creative ideas and unique flavor combinations, but I think the execution could be stronger to truly stand out.
