Ok I gave it another shot, shame on me. Fish and chips, asked for the fish crunchy. What they brought me looked burnt, but squishy. Not sure how the hell you manage that, something definitely is wrong in the kitchen. Let's talk about the size of the cod. Not bad for dinner or appetizers. The buffalo chicken dip is a highlight but not impressed by other food. The garage/outdoor area of the bar is fun, especially when there's live music. The inside area is not as cute, with loud (bad) pop music last time we were there. Food came out quickly and servers are friendly. I went to check out the new One North in East Lansing. It was New Years Days and they just opened. This place is huge! There is plenty of space/rooms to hot large parties. They have 2 bars and a 2 fireplaces, plenty of TVs to watch whatever games might be on for the day. It looks like it use to be an old car garage. They have the doors that look like they'll still pull up for a nice summer day. The staff were friendly, service was quick, the food was nothing to be excited about. The bang bang shrimp tasted good but it was over kill on the sauce. I got the half portion of the bbq chicken salad. The meat lacked flavor and overall I was not impressed. I ordered a side of ranch and bbq sauce to mix together and that gave the salad a little more life. My son's patty melt was okay. I've been to the West Saginaw location a few times. I've enjoyed my meal each time there. They have a large menu with plenty of options. I'd come back to try something else. The pot roast looked delicious. I like how you can pay your check by scanning the QR. More restaurants need to implement this. Nice location, beautiful restaurant, great staff, the food was okay. read more

Friends arranged a goodbye party for me at One North in East Lasning. The management was great working with us to arrange a separate room, with our own slide show showing on the TVs for about 25-30 people. We had a great time. I had the cream cheese wontons and they were good, nice and crispy. We all enjoyed the time, and it seemed that all were happy with their meals. An 8 year old gave high praise for the pretzel bites. He had previously rejected the chicken fingers here though. Our waitperson with available without being too present, and she was quite nice. All in all, very nice time held by all. read more

The food is very good, I definitely recommend the spinach dip for an appetizer. We have always been seated right away and all the staff is super nice. They have indoor and outdoor seating options. I have tried the chicken strips and the chicken Caesar wrap, I like both. read more

Service was not good. The resturant was super empty and the server even told us that it was slow but it took forever for everything. The cheese curds weirdly tasted like jalapeños. Every fry tasted different but they were okay. The Mac and cheese was probably 75% cheese it was super super heavy. Our food took forever and the server forgot silverware and we had to wait 5 minutes to eat because she took so long getting them. Wow what a great place to have fun and food. I was just in One North Saturday night. The staff are excellent great service. They really know what the word customer service means. This group of staff members (Nathan, Lily, Caitlin, Mason, Hailey,) I got meet and know were so much fun, they also had a pleasant smile on their faces. They were quick to seat me and take my order. They all interacted with me the whole time I was there, I could see they all are good Christians, they all smiled and did not have that victim look like some other places employees have. My husband and I had lunch yesterday. We sat there forever before someone came to take our order. Finally, we waved someone down. No problem. The soup that we asked to come before lunch, came with the lunch, and it wasn't hot or as described. We returned it for different soup options. No problem. My patty melt tasted odd, and my husband's rice bowl lacked any luster. We ordered food to take home for dinner. In my gut, I suggested we cancel the dinner order, but we didn't. My dinner was the salmon, mashed potatoes (that tasted odd), and broccoli. My son had the nachos and my husband had the fish and chips. Now, the manager did come over and comped our lunch and gave us a $50 gift card for future dining. He was very nice, and so was our waitress. Last night, my son's stomach was a wreck, and this morning, my husband and I followed. Our stomachs have painfully rejected everything we ate. The beware, danger sign for me his hanging over that KITCHEN!!! I chewed my fish like a tough piece of steak. I'm going to stop here. read more

Went to One North for lunch today with a group of seven from work. I had the patty melt, greasy and not much flavor. Co-workers did enjoy the wraps, chicken sandwich, burger, grilled cheese and fries. It took a good hour from the time we ordered to receive our lunches. Our server was attentive and friendly, thanked us for our patience. Hopefully, they can correct whatever the delay is in the kitchen. read more

First time here and had a great experience! The remodel from the former restaurant is fantastic. Beautiful spaces, good ambiance, with separate rooms on the sides which really keeps the noise level down and makes the space cozy. Service was perfect. Friendly staff, food was served quickly. The menu is just the right size... Should be something for everyone here. And the server pointed out that they make everything from scratch so you can customize any dish. The food was good - no complaints really. Maybe the cole slaw could use a bit more dressing? And not a fan of the 50 cent upcharge from fries to Cole slaw. Otherwise very happy with our meal. The food was amazing but the care the staff had for guests was even better. Although we didn't get served when being there at first, when my boyfriend went up and asked about our waiter, the manager was so apologetic. He immediately had us taken care of, apologized profusely, and even covered our bill. The food was amazing after, will definitely be going back. read more

Tonight we went to One North for dinner! Ordered the mozzarella sticks, blackened chicken Alfredo, and spinach chicken pizza. The food was phenomenal and the atmosphere was very nice. The restaurant was very clean. My favorite part of the menu was the mock tail and NA beer options. Our server was Jordan and she was amazing! She answered all our questions we had with confidence. The conversation we had with her made our experience very personable. We will definitely be back to experience the wonderful service again! read more

Disappointing. Maybe my expectations were too high, but I kind of expect something on the menu that is exciting or different. I left with a solid feeling of "meh." The drink menu is boring and even if they had a unique cocktail, their bartenders couldn't make it. Food service is slow, and for some reason, extremely salty. We ordered wings and burgers and the buffalo wings were so salty we couldn't eat them. It's hard to screw up wings, but they managed it. Bottom line: over priced, uninspired, and boring. read more
