I love a counter service spot. You order your food sit in the small patio area and when it's ready you pick it up at the window. It was sprinkling that day and this patio area was covered but had openings. So I had to get a hoodie and blankets to stay warm. We were the only ones there so surprised that it took awhile but I'll wait for good food. We started with chips and salsa, which were really crispy and freshly made. They also gave us a tray of three sauces and napkins. We ordered a carne asada quesadilla. Great portion and not light on the meat. We also had kiss Siberia plates three of those and we shared this came with five Quesabirria tacos. I'd say about the size of a street taco it came with of course the consume. It was delicious crispy lots of meat. My daughter got the kids quesadilla also a nice serving we drank water, but my one son got Horchata and that was fire. read more

I LOVED the burrito. It was crisp on the outside with a good selection of sauces. The chorizo was well seasoned and mixed well with all the ingredients. My only beef was the wait. I wasn't the only one thinking it was taking forever. Another couple almost left. It took about 30 minutes for the burrito to come out. I'm usually pretty lenient when it comes to waits if it is communicated but there was no communication or even "sorry for the wait" said after. It was also a bummer because you tip at the counter when you order and I felt my tip was pretty generous but then didn't get the service I would expect. I really felt bad for the group of 6 people whose food came out one by one with one person finished as the last person got their food. Again a simple communication goes a long way. It could have been a bad day and their food made up for the lack of service so that's why they still get a 4. read more

This place will not disappoint. I've tried a few different things from the menu and I've yet to find one that is meh. Birria tacos- good, quesabirria- extra fire, birria ramen- delicious, burritos are big and they do not skimp on the ingredients. The orange rice is packed with flavor. Breakfast burrito is amazing. My new favorite spot! I just had the birria ramen and asada tacos - so delicious! The tacos had great flavor, no nerve, and weren't too oily. They also fry the tortillas a little bit which is always a touch I appreciate. The birria ramen was amazing. Hot (not spicy) filling, and super flavorful. The birria was tender and juicy. I kept expecting to get to only broth, but kept getting pleasantly surprised to find more ramen. The cooking area looked very clean. The seating area was clean too but I noticed a few stains on the table I sat at. Minor nitpick. I was getting takeout anyway so it wasn't a problem. I will definitely become a regular. From the street, it doesn't really stand out. Nice sign, but what is it? A little tag-line that says "Mexican Food" would help. Plus, what's with the name? I'm told it was originally a food truck. Well, the name is one of a kind, too. Ample parking lot, you can quickly park, then walk right up and order at the counter. About 8-10 outdoor seating available, good for a warmer day. Great menu...I think I would have ordered each and every item. I ordered a shredded beef burrito, and took it "to go". When I got home, wow. It was absolutely huge. It was the XL tortilla, folded at the bottom and rolled, but the top was open like a wrapped sandwich. Lightly fried on the outside, it was so so good. I'll be back. We happened by this spot in Paso Robles while traveling for the weekend. WOW!! What a hidden gem!! This is a family run small restaurant that REALLY knows exactly what they are doing as far as taste and creating a great experience for their customers! We were greeted by the cashier, Isaac. A very warm and welcoming young man who gave us advice and helped us land with Burris Ramen, Asada torta (AA+++)!! The bathroom was sparkling clean and the facility was all very tidy overall. At one point I dropped a napkin, and then TADA... suddenly there was an employee outside picking it up! This family was a joy to get to know, and they were all so kind and made us feel like we were old family friends! Would find here again and again! Living in the area I have driven by this place a few times and today decided to stop and place an order. The gentleman behind the counter was very nice and I was able to tell him a story about the days when their building was Fosters Freeze. I ordered a simple bean and cheese burrito with a side of rice and an asada burrito. My husband and I were very surprised at how good the food is. One of a Kind is not your everyday Mexican food. I am a burrito guy and I rate off of certain items on the menu which are very common such as carne asada tried it it was very Bland I asked for a certain way I did not want cream on it or guacamole all I wanted was cilantro onions and Pico but they added sour cream instead got it home was very unhappy that it was in there I actually threw the burrito away halfway through it and then pulled it back out scrape the meat out for my dogs it did not taste very well it was Bland and it was not how I ordered it I was very specific at the front window and I still got it not how I ordered it good attitude for the people though I have to say that they were very nice I have to say I will be driving by next time looking for a stand thank you for listening. read more

My husband and I are locals and visited One of a Kind on a Sunday morning. What a great find! The breakfast burritos were delicious. The tortillas were large and homemade, the refried beans and salsa were delicious too. We watched the group at the next table order very large bowls of menudo. It looked great.
