That Green salsa is a bomb! I will visit this place again and again just for that sauce/salsa ! I had shrimp tacos. They look basic but shrimp was cooked to perfection! They know how to grill ! These are some amazing tacos , and they tasted wild after adding that hot salsa on top. I love it when someone serves me basic food right! Didn't have high expectations for this place, but it blew us away. Went here twice, because it was that good. We got 2 asada, 2 lengua, 2 shrimps, and 2 pastor -- all packed with flavors while it's hot and fresh. I love hot sauce, and it def hit the spot. Staff are always so friendly, tacos were not salty at all, and they always packed the food so neatly and just the right ratio of meat. They have their own parking lot to the side so if you can't find parking, park there. We ordered take out and even with the 17 min drive back home, the tacos still tasted fresh. We started with a very hearty bowl of tasty pozole and I had a huge wet carne asada burrito while my wife had two tacos (al pastor and lengua). I couldn't even finish my burrito after that pozole and the complimentary chips! All the food was delicious and price was very reasonable. Needed a nice quiet place for dinner last night. We had been here a few months ago and decided this was the place. What a delicious dinner we had. My husband had a delicious burrito bowl and I had a Mexican Shrimp Cocktail that was the best I have ever had. The broth was so delicious, I just wanted to pick up the goblet and drink it. Everything was so fresh. I had enough to take home for lunch. Only one waiter, but he was right on top of everyone's order. Never has to wait for anything. I will chalk the cleanliness up to a good enough rating. This has been our Taco Tuesday go to for a looong time. The staff is mostly friendly and they are always busy. We ran into a pinch and stumbled in on a Thursday with a hankering for the tacos we love- what a terrible mistake. Left disappointed- tasted off and old - unfortunately one of us suffered revenge (you know what I mean) following the meal. This has ruined my image and desire to return .. what a shame. read more

This is a wonderful restaurant to enjoy some authentic Mexican food. It has a relaxed and casual vibe. We went during the week and the service was great. I have to say that they have this green avocado salsa that is absolutely phenomenal. I would buy that if it was bottled. I enjoyed some green chili chicken enchiladas with some beans. The sauce on the enchiladas was delicious. A friend ordered the empanadas de Camaron and he loved it. It was delicious and not greasy at all. He said it was full of flavor. We had a wonderful experience at Aliyah's Kitchen Seafood & Grill. Our request to be seated near a television to watch an NFL game was graciously accommodated, making us feel very well taken care of. We enjoyed micheladas paired with the fried shrimp, which were excellent. The aguachile appetizer was fresh, tangy, and had the perfect level of spice. We love spicy so the variety hot sauces in the table came in handy. Our server was attentive throughout our visit, regularly checking on us and ensuring our drinks were always refilled. I live by the motto that you can tell a good Mexican restaurant by it's Chile Relleno, and unfortunately this fell short. While flavorful, the sauce is practically water with how runny it is, and the whole thing is soggy (which means the texture is wrong). They fixed my cold rice and beans, but couldn't fix the Chile Relleno. Surprisingly a good Mexican place near the downtown. We tried couple of higher rated Mexican places nearby but this is our favorite so far. Spacious inside, I can tell this place has live music and dance floor some of the nights. Disco balls hanging from the ceiling :) I enjoyed 3 kinds of tacos - shrimp, asada, pork verde) and they were all so plump, flavorful and tasty. My husband had shrimp burritos and shrimp were dropping out of the burrito as there are so many. There were 3 kinds of hot sauce on the table and they brought 2 freshly made hot sauces, which were all delicious. The service was impeccable and very helpful in deciding what to order. We all ordered the shrimp tacos. The shrimp in the tacos were cooked perfectly! Juicy tender sweet shrimp griddled with a very delicious spice! So yummy!! The tacos come with shredded cabbage, tomatoes, onions and if you wish cilantro. Mine were ordered without cilantro since it makes me ill. Gotta tell you the tacos were wonderfully delicious! These are a must order! The rice and beans were very delicious too! The draw to Aliyahs is the Tuesday taco night, where $2.08 tacos rule. A choice of 6 meats, my lady and I went for 3 tacos each, a side of rice, and it was $16+ with tax included. Score! Now, I go nuts for crispy tacos, but these are street tacos my friends -- and they're worthy. Now, why it's not named "Aliyahs Mexican Cantina" is a bit of an outrage. I had the caldo de camaron (shrimp soup). Tasty with a lot of shrimp but still have heads and shells on so eating them was a messy process. The heads and shells add flavor to the broth. Looking around Paso Robles for a place to host eight adults on a Friday night was a bit tough, but when we opted for takeout from Aliyah's to bring back to our group's Airbnb, it was a great decision. I phoned in an order (which was even a bit complicated b/c some in our group didn't like sour cream, beans, or pico de gallo, or a combination of those), and in about half an hour, everything was ready to be picked up. The space was large enough to host our group if we decided to dine-in, so perhaps we'll do that next time, but I was pleasantly surprised with the quantity of food for how much the bill was. Most other places in downtown Paso Robles would have been probably twice the price if we dined out. I had the carne asada burrito and asada fries, which were great (except for the meat was a little overcooked), especially with the green sauce that it came with. The red sauce was a bit too spicy for me, but again, lots of food and well worth it if you're in Paso Robles! read more

Really hate to begin the new year for this establishment on this level but we have given business here before, and we have referred a lot of friends and visitors here. We had an incident with the restaurant recently, I have asked the owner to contact me and I have not gotten a response. I've had the owners son, call me from his personal cell phone and yell at me, but I have not actually had his mother, the actual owner call me. We come in peace, and we would just like to disclose how we felt during our experience, and what we think you could improve with as much kindness as possible. Especially because we are all in the same community. If I can receive a phone call to handle this matter privately, I'd be very happy to remove this review. Until then, we can't say we are proud to have this establishment in our community, for how terrible the business has it handled amongst us. I had a very disappointing experience at Aliyah's Kitchen. While eating my shrimp ceviche, I noticed a thin brownish-black hair on one of the shrimp. When I pointed it out to the server, instead of apologizing or offering to fix the issue, he claimed it was "shrimp hair" and even moved the shrimp around to try to hide it. I know what shrimp looks like -- this was clearly not part of the seafood. The server showed no concern for hygiene, made no apology, and even insisted I continue eating the dish. The customer service overall felt unwelcoming and dismissive. Unfortunately, between the poor handling of a clear contamination issue and the lack of professionalism, I cannot recommend this restaurant. read more

We came here on a Saturday night, strangely the restaurant was not busy at all. This place probably had one of the best tacos we've had.
