Out of all the places I could find to eat during this COVID lockdown, I find this place to be the most worthwhile. Ordering my food in store or ahead of time, the food I received is prepared to the upmost degree of care. I've noticed after coming here for a month that they have loyal customers still taking orders. And I can see why they have returning customers, hospitality is great, the quality of food is fresh, and it all comes to an affordable price. Plus it's real simple to order too, so it makes it easy on me when I'm on the go. Just recently this week, my order was being delayed due to a couple of rude customers in line yelling at the workers, apparently they were mad because they could'nt use the restroom, which in fact is restaurant policies everywhere, and even though the employees politely told them to not use it, they still forced themselves in and tried to get their way by cursing and acting uncivilized. Despite having to deal with the rude customers holding up the line, the employees still managed to get my order right. I believe the people working there really do respect the people coming to their restaurant. I would definitely come back again ! read more

Freaking delicious poke bowl- i inhaled my medium sized bowl down in no time, and I didn't even bother with a picture oops. good quality, fresh, and flavorful, and cheaper than most stuff in the area. I could tell everything was super fresh cuz the spring mix greens were still crisp, even the whispy leaves; and the fried garlic had a very fitful crunch that wasn't overly dry or stale- and of course the fish was just solid. I got the salmon and spicy salmon which came up to 9 something. The amount is a little small if you're super hungry, but it's a good controlled portion if you're trying to watch it haha. Clean, quiet and nice establishment in a plaza with plenty of parking. What a solid bowl. One poke? Just one? I'm sure there will be more than just one in my near future. read more

Portions are so small, my boyfriend finished his meal in two bites and was still hungry. The smallest size and a drink $15 was not worth. We had to go to Starbucks next door and order a sandwich to be full. Owner was also really rude, basically yelling at you. I'm not sure how this place is 4 and a half stars with over 700 reviews. Honestly, it's one of the better poke places in LA that are reasonably priced. Poke places are popping up everywhere, and I know that this is probably an unpopular opinion, but Poke Bar is gross and doesn't have that many options. The Poke places that are cheap are probably compromising on fish quality, but you won't get that here. I actually really love the way they prepare the poke. The fish isn't drowning in sauce and you can still taste the freshness of the fish. The owners are super adorable and have genuine desire to make sure you are getting the best possible experience. After coming the first time I swore I would never go back but by the insistence of a co worker who said "Its AMAZING! - I go multiple times a week!" Everything about my recent visit here was superb! From the excellent service, to the presentation, to the taste. The guy that helped me was so incredibly helpful. He made sure I got my bowl exactly the way I wanted and it made a big difference. I don't remember my bowl being this good the last time I came here (and I got rice that time!). I got a salad bowl with 4 scoops of salmon and tuna. I added cucumbers, kale, cilantro, green onions, red peppers, imitation crab, seaweed salad, ginger, sesame seeds, crispy onion, and that gorgeously-spread avocado you see in the photo. To top it off I got spicy mayo and the crazy sauce. The crazy sauce is very spicy but it has a really good flavor to it and it's totally doable in moderation. Everything in my bowl came together so smoothly it was like butter melting in my mouth. I think I may have found my new favorite poke bowl. read more

I don't know how this place has received so many good reviews... One Poke was literally the worst poke I've ever had in my life. Here are the reasons why: A) Smaller portions for more money. They only give you 4 proteins for the large. Every other poke place I've ever gone to gives you 5. Also more expensive than any other large poke I've purchased elsewhere. B) Flavorless, even with their choice of multiple sauces. I added spicy mayo, house poke and their dragon sauce and it was still lacking in the flavor department. C) They charge $1.50 for avocado! Are you flipping kidding me? That'd be like a sushi restaurant charging you to add avocado into a roll that always includes avocado. D) They do not allow you to sub proteins. I generally sub an extra side of crab for one protein and they would not allow me to do that here without charging me $.75. E) In order to get my poke bowl the same way that I get it at any other poke place I go to, I have to spend a total of $14.20. For that price, I'd expect to be in a sit down restaurant, not a subway-style poke joint with mediocre meals. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere! This place has nice service and decent poke, but I get super frustrated when poke places skimp on portions. I had to ask for more of every single thing on my bowl... I'm talking like 6 soybeans, teaspoon size sprinkle of crispy onion etc... my server was nice and did give me more when I asked, but it still wasn't nearly comparable with most place's portions. It's just awkward for both of us when I have to keep asking for more ugh. Their "sauce on the side" cups are also those tiny, tiny half ounce cups... just feels a little like they're nickel and diming you for ingredients you're already paying 13 bucks for. I have no patience for that, whatsoever, ever since I opened my own restaurant, and fully realized how it's never worth skimping out on your customers to save pennies. If it wasn't for a nice server, I'd be giving them 1 star. Sadly won't return, there are too many places that are far more generous. read more

Came here during lunch hour and I can tell this spot gets some decent business considering it's next to some big aerospace companies. Food: Food was good, nothing amazing, but wasn't bad. I got the salmon and tuna as my protein and several other toppings like meat, and crunchy onion. To note, what I really liked was the fact that they had kale noodles! Great for those who are on keto or low carb diets. Service: Here's where they lose some stars. I got served by who I think was the owner? or at least manager, and man I get that buying fresh seafood for a store maybe expensive, but I definitely got skimped on my protein. One full table spoon per protein was what I got and I was surprised. I paid about 9$ is for the bowl which I thought was to expensive considering the amount of protien I was skimped out on. And to add to it, I was charged for extra crab meat and the kale noodles! I'm not saying that I wasn't aware of the extra charge - by the time I received the protein, I gave up and just went along with whatever was extra. Overall, I won't be back here again, you can pay for better portions and tastier poke at Poke Bar down the street!
