They were out of one of the things I ordered, which unfortunately is something I look forward to. There is no substitute for uni really. But that happens and it's not their fault. Started with house salad. The ingredients were fresh. If felt underdressed, but the dressing is just watery and most of it ended up at the bottom of the bowl. Still tasty way to start. I was then served the two ha!drolls. The spicy tuna hand roll was pretty good, with a nice amount of tuna. The salmon skin hand roll was fine. But I prefer it when the salmon skin has a little salmon meat on it. But this was made well. The toro sushi was nice., with fresh wasabi. I hit the spot. The japanese scallop sashimi was ok. It didn't have the firmness I associate with fresh scallops (taken from a shell). It was more like scallops that were frozen. They were still ok. The place itself is lovely: There's a waterfall at the entrance that brings a soothing quality to the dining area. The whole place feels cool and cozy, with some background music playing. It's nice. The service is very good. The chefs are pretty quick. The servers are friendly and helpful. This is a nice spot I'd come to again. If probably not gone here for a sushi fix, more for business food with a couple of pieces of sushi; The bill was pretty high for what I got. But I didn't get their designed lunches or specials because I don't want tuna/salmon/yellowtail when I get sushi or sashimi and that costs more. I'm fine with it.

My coworkers always come here for lunch in between or after meetings. This restaurant is always consistent, quick and the waiters/waitresses are always on point. We were strapped for time as we had a meeting to go to afterwards. We got a seat right away and ordered. The food came out so fast and service was great! Food was solid with great portions. Thanks so much to the team here who brought us our food quickly so that we could make it to our next meeting! Definitely will be coming back again.

So we paid $38 to take an uber to this place in the middle of nowhere and arrived at 8:25pm, the doors were closed but it said on the door "closed at 9pm" and also online stated that it closed at 9pm. The lady that opened the door was extremely rude, we told her that we arrived on time and she said she had sent all her cooks home. She took zero accountability for the poor service, and poor business practices.

Decent sushi place. I came during lunch and was hoping the service would've been a little faster but it was slow and I felt rushed to eat and get back to work. There wasn't any lunch specials, so that was a little bit of a letdown. However the restaurant was very clean and the waitress was nice. I might skip this place for lunch and try it for dinner instead when I'm not on a time crunch.

It's so beautiful here but def a little more pricy then I'm used too lol but it was totally worth it for my tonkatsu ramen. I didn't get to take a photo of my food but the waitress was super sweet and enjoyable. Our table was in a beautiful area and the ambiance is super chill. I will def be returning but keep in mind come w a good amount to spend

Came here with a coworker after working in the area for several years and glad I came. Here for the 2nd time - the food is great and comes out fairly quick. The service is very friendly and courteous. Great place to grab a quick lunch.

Kaya Sushi - My Go-To Spot for Nearly a Decade I've been coming to Kaya Sushi for over 9 years, and it's hands down my favorite sushi spot. This is a family-owned and operated restaurant where quality truly matters. Sharon is an absolute sweetheart and always makes you feel welcome, and the chefs put genuine care and attention into every dish they serve. It's taken me a while to write this review because, honestly, a part of me wanted to keep this place a little secret. It's mostly locals who come here, and many--like me--have become regulars over the years. I eat here about once a month, and when I'm feeling under the weather, I always order their seafood ramen. The broth is incredible--comforting, flavorful, and somehow revives me every time. If you're looking for fresh sushi, warm service, and a place that feels like home, Kaya Sushi is it.

This is our go to spot. We come here so often they know our name and they know our order. Sometimes, like tonight we like to switch it up and order a dessert. This was truly special. But we always order the japche and at least one of us gets bibimbap [[HIGHLIGHT]]While I come here for the food, the ambience is lovely too[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

They have a variety of lunch specials, including a sashimi combo meal with 8 pieces, salad, rice, and choice of a side. So good. My sons ordered a sushi lunch combo, tempura kids meal, and some gyoza/soft shell crab -- all delicious. As a treat we also ordered the A5 Wagyu (which they allowed us to order for lunch). It was prepared table side and was just incredible. Our server Kelly was amazing! Loved her great recommendations, and she constantly checked in with us. Her German/Ecuadorian heritage coincided with an upcoming World Cup match, so having her as our server was extremely fortuitous. The restaurant ambiance is simple yet welcoming along the main road. Parking was a little crowded but we found street parking not far away. I love how they have a waitlist and how food came out really quickly. They have their own special soy sauce recipe! I was very hungry so I ordered kind of a lot of food: the shrimp tempura, the shishito peppers, a crunch roll with shrimp, and a vegan vegetable roll. Everything I ordered was actually really good. The main issue that I had was that there were a lot of flies in the restaurant. There were a lot of small flies but also the big kind of flies that fly around and that made the meal a little bit unpleasant. The servers were super friendly and attentive and the meal was otherwise good. I'm not sure if I'll come back because of the whole fly situation but at least the food was good

This time, I noticed this location offers special Gozen set meals that I hadn't seen before. They had a limited Dinner Gozen on the menu with only 10 sets available each night. It was a huge meal and I was honestly surprised I managed to finish the whole thing. I really enjoyed it because you get to try so many different items in one meal. If you're like me and love Japanese food, this is a great way to sample a little bit of everything without having to order a bunch of separate dishes. Everything tasted fresh and the quality was excellent. The restaurant itself isn't very big, so it can get pretty busy. They do take reservations though, which I'd recommend if you're planning to come during dinner. Overall, I really enjoyed this special Gozen meal and would definitely come back. The steak, which came out sizzling hot on a skillet, was smoky, salty, and tender, the sashimi was fresh, and the shrimp tempura was crunchy. What impressed me most was that every item was served at the right temperature. The steak was hot, the soba was cold, and the sashimi was cool. Pretty amazing considering they were all served at the same time! Some closing thoughts before I wrap this review up. -The service was outstanding.
