Abid always takes care of me when I come in! Good guy.

Came back to say that I love my local Mono Poke in Westchester! Abid knows me now and has taken the time to learn my bowl preferences! He always gives service with a smile and that's refreshing in today's time! My bowl is salmon and full of all the green stuff I need to be eating. Also, now they have my favorite soda option Stubborn "Pineapple Cream Soda" in addition to their very unique selection of beverages! I always get to try some new bev when I come get my lunch!

Fresh, Flavorful, and Absolutely Fantastic! I can't say enough good things about this place. The poke bowls here are next level -- super fresh fish, vibrant toppings, and perfectly seasoned rice. You can tell they put real care into the quality of each ingredient. I built my own bowl with spicy tuna, salmon, seaweed salad, mango, crispy onions, and their house-made spicy aioli... and I was blown away. Every bite was balanced, flavorful, and satisfying. The staff was also incredibly friendly and helpful, making great suggestions without being pushy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service was quick, and the place was clean and welcoming with a laid-back vibe that's perfect for a casual lunch or dinner.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Whether you're a poke enthusiast or trying it for the first time, this spot is a must-visit. I'll definitely be back -- probably sooner than I should admit!

Second time coming and again the food was great! Service as quick and friendly, we ordered, paid, sat and enjoyed our food. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat inside once again, it's a nice little casual spot for a nice lunch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Will be coming back again.

This poke place hit the spot! I wish it had more protein but i ordered a medium and looked small but packed with flavor. Spicy tuna, salmon, octopus with up to 18 toppings. Added avacado and sauce was spicy mayo and spicy sauce. I ordered for pick up and was super easy to park.

    Ding go there!!!!

Asked if they could serve the rice separate. Manager said no. Because of inventory. Sooo they missed out on a $20 sale because they wouldn't separate the rice lol I tried explaining I didn't want the fish to get warm by the time I ate it later on my flight. On the plus side I had a really great burrito from the taco truck right next to it. Go there instead! They're way nicer too :)

    Raspberry and rose water, delicious!

I love poke bowls! So fresh, not heavy and greasy. It's close by and affordable for quality and amount of food! Love their macaron ice creams!

I was so excited about trying Mono Poke but it just didn't hit the mark for me. It was a very clean establishment with many options to make your poke your way. Exciting since most other places come with a set poke bowl. One thing I loved was the generous portions. I found that the portion size for the price was absolutely worth it. Where it fell off was the flavor. Perhaps it's the sauces I chose... I tried to get a mix of flavorful and spicy since that's what I like but the sauces fell flat. Also, the fish chunks were too big. While you'd think that wouldn't be an issue, it was too much chunk per bite. I would have preferred smaller chunks for sure. I would definitely give Mono Poke another try with slightly different options but my first experience wasn't what I expected or hoped for.

I'm an absolutely crazy poke lover. I have very high expectations when it comes to fresh fish, quality, and quantity, and I'm glad to say that this location hits all marks for me. I went here with my boyfriend in hopes to find a good quality poke place in the LA area around his school, and we stumbled upon this small poke store in a slightly dark and empty area... We saw that there weren't any customers and we were suspicious at first, but I thought to myself that usually smaller businesses and shops have better food, so I went into the shop with pretty good expectations and an open mind. I was pleasantly greeted and surprised with the quality of the food. There was one single worker who was an older man, and I don't think he was fluent in English but nonetheless he gave very kind portions for the proteins and toppings. A lot of poke places are also heavily priced for their bad quality fish and stingy portions, but I can say that Mono Poke had the perfect price for their pristine-quality fish. The fresh shredded crab meat was also sooooo good because most places would just sell imitation crab, but I was glad this store offered real and fresh crab. The fish also seemed like it was tended well and of great quality, and it didn't leave a sticky/rubbery aftertaste. Honestly was contemplating on gatekeeping this poke place, but I thought they deserved more recognition for their delectable foods. Love Mono Poke!!!

It's more than I expected honestly. I usually do need quite a bit of food to keep my energy up, so I didn't really look up the portion size. I ordered a large macadamia nut pancake (comes with 3) with the cream on the side and an order of spam musubi (comes with 4). Highly recommend getting the cream on the side so you can control how much you want on your pancake. It's pretty sweet so I only wanted a light layer. Originally we planned to just share the pancakes and another dish, but when it came out, everyone's jaws just dropped. It is WAY bigger than any of us really imagined. We expected a small Denny's sized pancake. Nope, the pancakes were HUGE. Even when sharing, we were only able to share one pancake and had to to-go the other two for later. It fed me for 3 meals after that. I would like to say, being in here really reminded me of Hawaii. A few other things to keep in mind for your visits. I wasn't too thrilled about the flies, as I did spend a bit of our visit trying to swat them away. So do expect to battle flies every now and then. There's also a bathroom that's outside the restaurant that you have to get a key to open with. So if you're a super clean freak, you might want to make sure you don't need the bathroom while you're here. The water is also self served. This makes it easier so I don't have to keep flagging down someone.

The Hawaiian barbecue chicken was incredibly juicy, tender, and full of flavor without being dry at all. The real star of the meal, though, was the short ribs. Over the years I've gotten take-out here but have also done dine-in. It seems they mostly do catering now, because they have very short business hours for the public. Their website says their dining room is closed, but the employee says it's open Thurs and Fri. Nevertheless, I followed the website's info and ordered pick up. Here's what I ordered: 1) Komai's Big Breakfast. Komai was Aloha's original chef. Two eggs with all the meats: Portuguese sausage, Spam, Vienna sausage, corned beef hash plus 2 scoops of rice and a Hawaiian roll. No surprises here, very nice. 2) Kal B Chicken plate lunch. Chicken marinated in the same sauce as the more familiar kalbi beef short ribs, with rice and mac salad. The chicken did not seem to take up the marinade as well as beef, so it was tasty but on the dry side. I'd probably give their chicken teriyaki a go next time. The mac salad was fine, did have potatoes. 3) Spam musubi. Again no surprises, classic 4) ordered a side of char siu, but it was not available. A nice go-to if you're hankering for classic Hawaiian on a Thurs or Fri.

While I was staring at the menu deciding whether I wanted to get anything, several people came and went with their orders and everyone told me to get the fried chicken. So, I went inside and got the fried chicken with macaroni salad. A few mintues later, I added a katsu musubi to the order. This is not fast-food. The wait is real. About 12 minutes. I then had probably about 10 minutes of driving before I sat down to eat. The fried chicken is delicious and has a great crispy/crunchy skin. There is a faint sweetness that coats the chicken. The meat was not super plump like some national-chain places (I think those places brine-injected the chicken). Depending on your preference, this might feel too dry to you. Their dipping sauce for the chicken is very tasty. If they just sold that in bottles, I'd come just to buy that for use at home! Speaking of preferences, the macaroni salad is also well made, but it's simple and might be disappointing if you're expecting some kind of flavor kick. I liked it very much, because it is in the style of the basic macaroni salad -- someone described it as going home to Hawaii for them -- and I think that's what it is. Portions were enough to split into two meals. So I had half of my chicken and the mac salad. I had planned to also only eat half of the musubi. But it was delicious and had a nice crunch which I'm sure would not have held up being kept in the fridge. I really enjoyed the musubi on its own, but also enjoyed taking turns with bites with that sauce added on. I stored the rest of the chicken and mac salad in the fridge and then had them for dinner 6 hours later. Despite being in the fridge, the chicken still had a bit of a crunchy bite to it - it wasn't a mushy soggy mess. Very friendly service. This is not a sit-down place you go to for a dining experience - just a solid place to get food to go that will be delicious.
