They have good espresso drinks, and also interesting fun espresso drinks. They also have a decent variety of foods from bagels to French toast and avo toast. The tiramisu latte tasted like it was tiramisu inspired but did not taste fully like tiramisu. The French toast was overly sweet and had too much cream for me personally. However the French toast itself was yummy and had a nice eggy and cinnamon-y flavor. Just got ruined by the cream for me. On the weekends, the place gets VERY packed especially on the first floor. There is an upstairs as well that has more seating. On the weekdays, is less crowded. read more

This blueberry pie chai is out of this world! The blueberry tastes like frozen wild blueberries. There is a touch of a shortbread flavor in it too. A little sweet towards the end if you're chugging it but truly the best blueberry flavor I've had. The chai is fragrant and the spices pair well in this drink. This is one of the best coffee shops in the states in my opinion. A mixture of amazing specialty coffees and the best atmosphere I've seen. The downstairs is wall to wall with comfy booth seating, cute wooden paneling and warm lighting while the upstairs has a library section with couches all around. The oak milk foam cold brew was amazing and it was a bonus that it didnt cost extra for the oat milk. I would have thought it might be too sweet but it was perfect and the oat milk actually added to it as well. Later we got the banana bread late and while it was good, we would stick with the foam cold brew for next time. The staff was super friendly and pretty quick as well. One of the things I judge a place by is their hotsauce. They have Chipotle which is a great one and shows their taste. The only thing that was just okay was the wifi. We tried to work here all day and had to hot spot for most of it. Its not bad, but not good enough for some work. Overall a phenomenal coffee shop we will definitly be back to. read more

You can order your food or coffee and get it to go or take a number and let them know if you'll be in their adorable upstairs area, outside or downstairs. As much as I'm grateful for the flexibility of WFH, it's nice to switch it up and find accommodating coffee spots like One Shot Coffee. This place has good food, WiFi, plenty of space to chill or work, and great customer service. It's located in Northern Liberties, where parking can, of course, get sparse at times. Thankfully, every time I've been to this coffee spot, I've found parking nearby...yay! Once you enter, the staff are always pleasant. I ordered their yummy "The Ultimate," sandwich which has egg, bacon, hash brown, and cheese on a brioche bun. This is a cozy cafe with a rustic feel especially upstairs. The interior is spacious and peaceful with a cool motorcycle and bookshelves. There are a lot of food and drink options, serving full sandwiches and other entrees like French toast etc. I tried the hot honey focaccia sandwich without the bacon. I was disappointed that the bacon couldn't be substituted for egg. The salted caramel latte was delicious and paired well with the sandwich. I truly don't get the hype. They don't have house made syrups and use monin syrups and their "specialty" drinks are random combinations of monin syrups. I've tried it 4 times at this point hoping to change my mind but I've never really enjoyed a drink from here. read more

By the other reviews, their regular breakfast food looks very respectable. I didn't realize that this was a bigger location, and it looked small but reasonable for a cafe size within the Philadelphia city limits. I got a random TooGoodToGo here and they are generous with their leftover pastries. I got 15 pastries (if I counted correctly) for the price of 3.99, and there was a more than respectable variety, which is not required of the app or strongly suggested anymore, but a great aspect to end up with, nonetheless. (Not every single pastry was different, but that is not a problem.) I don't know if I got lucky they have so many leftovers or they just like to make sure they are well stocked with fresh food when people do order regularly. If I want random TooGoodToGo pastries in this area, Delco, or Montco, my go-tos might be here or Maman Bakery in Ardmore. TopHat in Bala Cynwyd is a close second. read more

I ordered an iced vanilla latte and a focaccia breakfast sandwich that was absolutely spectacular! The coffee was good but the breakfast sandwiches really stole the show. All my friends really enjoyed it and overall I highly recommend. My dog also came with us and I was so glad they had tables outside where you are welcome to sit with furry friends. The second floor is full of seating and outlets, perfect for hanging out or studying. My favorite menu item is the Baked Apple French Toast. Its cream cheese-like filling and roasted apples on top that perfectly complement the moist, syrup-soaked bread. It's also a sizable enough serving that I needed to take my leftovers home. My favorite drink is the Oat Milk Honey & Vanilla Cold Brew because it's got a hint of sweetness without it being overwhelming. I've got a sweet tooth, but I prefer my coffee flavors subtle. The other specialty lattes were a little too sweet for my liking. I've also tried the Chimchurri Lox Bagel, Salmon Avocado Toast, and Breakfast Burrito, all of which were light but filling brunch meals. At first I was thinking maybe they keep sugar elsewhere, so I ask girl that works there. She said there is brown sugar, sweeteners, and liquid syrup. No regular sugar! $6 cup of coffee and no sugar.
