Yes, car repair costs money. This is money well spent! About 2 years ago, I had shorted out my electric windows and door locks by allowing rain to drip into the controls overnight. Who knew it would rain on the one night I didn't roll up the windows? Anyway, Hrant Auto (the best mechanic IMHO) recommended this shop and their work was superb, efficient and worth every penny. They fixed the problem, cleaned up after the work, cleaned up the fuse box and put in new fuses for all the circuits, and just did a great job. Now last weekend, my car's battery was dead after a week of sitting parked at my house. Long story shortened.... towed to Hrant, diagnosed as the AC compressor continued to run after the car was turned off, One Stop PICKED UP my car at Hrants, diagnosed, and replaced the AC system in the car by 4 pm the next day. I didn't NEED the whole system replaced but I chose to go with that since I drive a LOT and I love a reliable car with good AC. The cost equaled about 2 months of a car payment for a car that has been paid off for years and has 200K plus miles on it. I am completely satisfied with their work, their honesty, their amazingly clean shop and work ethic. These guys are good. After reading reviews on Yelp, decided this was a good place to take my son's Jeep Liberty for a diagnosis. Car has 155K miles on it and the AC runs intermittently. Took the car in and Leo was very quick to provide an estimate. Work was done promptly. When we went to pick up the car with the new compressor, there was a concern with some kind of leak. Leo was apologetic as he had just tested the system. He asked if he could keep the car a little longer. He was thorough in running additional tests and finding an issue with the fan relay, which he took care of replacing. Friendly, honest, fair and knowledgable! Highly recommended. read more

September 18, 2019. I made appointment the day before to check my air conditioner that works, except does not blow air under acceleration. These folks know their business. First, I was referred here by Hrant's, and that's a very strong recommendation since Hrant's is so trusted in Pasadena. Second, both of the two men I worked with were professional, kind, and accommodating. Third, they were very honest. They easily could have made my auto issue into being more than it was or tried to encourage other repairs. But, they didn't. Fourth, they fit me in immediately and were flexible when my schedule was off due to waiting for a tow. Fifth, since my auto issue turned out to be just loose battery wires, they fixed it immediately, checked my battery strength to be sure it was okay and refused payment. While it was a quick fix, they easily could have charged me for their time, equipment use, and lubricant, and they had a right to. One Stop, with Leo, Mike, and Urik, is now my first choice for electrical and air conditioning needs for my vehicle. I highly recommend. I'd read their reviews before and knew they were a top choice, but now, since I've used them, I'm sold. I have a much larger repair to be done at a later date and will definitely be back for that. They even helped arrange a preferred rate at the Enterprise across the street for a rental car. My A/C compressor decided to die this summer. I wanted to take my car to a reputable AC specialist instead of a general mechanic that also services AC. I wanted quality workmanship so, after reading reviews on this place I dropped off my car. They had my A/C back by that afternoon ! Unfortunately, it lasted less than 24 hours. I notified them about the problem, and it was inconvenient to go back a second time (I don't live or work in Pasadena) but in all fairness I should have been charged for a replacement part because it was not part of my original bill. Needless to say they replaced the faulty electrical part free of charge. I would recommend this place to anyone in the general area. read more

What they do: anything to do with electrical issues like A/C, power windows, power door lock, seat doesn't slide back, alternator, lights, etc. Just because they are the only place in town that work on auto electrical doesn't make them forget their manners or common decency. They proved to be honest and forthcoming. Was referred to them by Hrant Auto (Thanks Hrant!). My front right headlight was out and I had brought it to Liberty Tires prior for a simple lightbulb assessment but left for a second opinion because they wanted to charge me about $700 to get it rewired & replaced. Umm....no thanks, my car isn't old, hasn't been in any accidents or parked near the ocean or in questionable neighborhoods (always in gated garages) so there is no reason for rewiring. So I went to One Stop Auto Electrical for a second opinion. The owner/mgr promptly greeted me and assigned an electrician to take a look. I watched his every step as it was my first time there and we've yet to build trust. The electrician showed me the disconnected wire had been clean-cut and not a wear n' tear situation. He quickly resolved it by stripping a bit of the wire, reattached connection and wielded it securely together with something additional. I started the engine for him to check to see if connection was made; it worked! And he noticed my turn signal was out so the owner/mgr told him just replace it (free of charge). I said 'thank you' but let me pay you for the bulb too. Ended up only needing to pay a nominal fee for the rewiring. It's so nice to see a small business uphold integrity, kindness and prioritize customers as human beings who need help. Not for a moment were they disrespectful nor did I feel like I was dealing with people who are over-complicating things to make a buck. Came in on a Saturday morning to get an estimate on my intermittent problem with 3 out 4 of my door locks. I left for about an hour to get breakfast and I got a call that they found what the problem. They needed to replace the all of the lock assemblies for the 3 doors having problems. The dealer wanted to charge $800/per door to fix the locks. Leo charged me much less than that and he gave the car top priority. All of the locks on the 3 doors were replaced in less than 6 hours(it was a lot of work). Leo also gave me 30 days on the parts and labor. The people at One Stop Electrical were very professional. They did not want to get me a blind quote. They had me bring the car in to do a proper diagnosis. The cost for the estimate was very reasonable and it would be applied to the work to be done. Another hot day in LA! My air conditioning was not blowing cold air and being 70 years old, I couldn't take it anymore. Went to several ac specializing shops and wasn't comfortable leaving my car. I was referred by Hrant from Hrant Auto Service. Mike is a wonderful person! He is friendly, caring and very professional. My air conditioner compressor exploded in my Honda CRV. Their price for the extensive work done was unbeatable- it could have easily set me back a couple thousand dollars and it didn't. My impression of Mike and Leo was that they were more concern with the safety of my car than trying to make money from the repairs. My 2005 tahoe was in an auto accident about 5 years ago and the A/C hasn't run since. Was recommended by my parents to take it down. I wanted to get my AC fixed and came here based on the good reviews on yelp. They did a leak and pressure test on my old 90 VW Golf. They told me whoever installed it last "mickey mouse'd" all of it. They told me I would basically need a whole new system. I decided not to get it fixed because I needed a new compressor and that alone is expensive. They ended up doing the pressure and leak test free of charge and told me if I ended up getting the parts to come back so they could help or they would refer me to a shop that would be able to help me better with my old car. I admire how honest these guys are. If you're looking for a shop that will fix your AC and not take shortcuts, this is the place to go. read more
