This place is absolutely ridiculous. They advertise as a place that does a drive-thru oil change and that is absolutely true except after the oil changes done you have to get out of your car and go pay in the office. So that makes the whole drive-thru thing ridiculous. Imagine going through the McDonald's drive-thru for your convenience but after you get your food they tell you you have to go park and go inside and pay. Terrible idea. read more

I moved to the neighborhood not too long ago with my family, and I wanted to support the local business, and I let the owner know this when I went in to get a quote on a simple oil change. He was friendly and smiled a lot, and he said it would cost about $65. I asked him what the total cost would be and he told me a little over $72. Two days later I dropped my car off, and I was told that they would be done in thirty to forty minutes (they were going to rotate the tires for an additional $10, and check the air and cabin filter), they told me they would call me when they finished. I left, and after about two and a half hours I decided to go back. The car was finished but they had not checked the air filters. They also charged an addition $17 in labor and disposal fees for the oil change before tax. It is about $20 more than what I was quoted. I challenge their integrity. It is unfortunate that they had the opportunity to win over future business for two vehicles for years, but instead they let greed get the best of them and they didn't even bother to contact me when my vehicle was finished. Who ever did the oil change left what looks like a palm print in some sort of oil based substance on the fabric of my front seat. Careless. When I went back the owner who lied earlier about pricing, got a rag and said if it were oil it would leave a mark on the rag when he wiped it, but that is not true if it is clean oil. Anyway, the oil stain was not there before they worked on it. He offered to have one of his employees try to get it out on another day. I'll probably try and fix it my self. read more

I love this place and feel the most comfortable taking my car to be serviced here versus the dealership hands down. Not only becsuse of the price but because of the willingnus of the mechanics to explain in detail what's going on, what's wrong, why its going wrong, how to fix it and how much it will cost. Prices are hands down a steal for the quality of service. Only reason its not a 5 star is becsuse I always have to call them to get my car back and getting someome to attend you at the start is a little nuts as everyone is on deck the whole time. read more

I have nothing but good things about this place! I've been coming to Johnny for years and every time we come they do an amazing job. What I like the most is the fact that they tell you if ur car is still under warranty to take it back to the dealer and won't touch it unless you tell them too. I drive a Lexus and instead of the dealer I rather bring it here. The dealer charges an arm and a leg but here on top of great customer service the prices are reasonable. If you're a woman and don't feel like being ripped off by a mechanic and all of their high-level mechanic lingo that eventually is a tactic to rip you off, then go here. I have never had someone so willing to walk me through the whole process of my tune-up and let me sit there and watch my sparks being changed, so I can see the corrosion for myself. He talked me through the whole process and told me it was his job to educate me and my job to make the decisions, and educate me he did! I knew why and what was being done, it was so refreshing to have someone these days be so affable and detailed oriented. In addition to making me laugh, they had me in and out in 30min or less. I totally trust the mechanics here with the health of my vehicle and the best interest's of my pockets. It was that time of the year when I needed a smog check, not a regular but a STAR smog check. I knew I was in trouble because my "check engine" light was on. I wanted to take a different route this time around and yelp for auto repairs in my area, after reading the comments, I just had to put my trust in One Stop Auto Service, what the heck, sometimes its better to get a new opinion!...and Boy was I right... I have taken my car to other mechanics and the problem just "kept" reappearing. Now I know the problem was never fixed in the first place because all they were doing was resetting my cars computer to turn off the light! When I took my car Johnny was very helpful, he ran an auto diagnostics and realized that my car had more than one problem. He truthfully said that it will take several days to try to fix my car. When I picked up my car he confessed that he was going to call me to pick up my car with no charge because he just want it out of his hands. The repairs took longer than he expected and was driving him crazy, but he thought about ME, he didn't want to stress me out...Really?!! Stress me out?!! What mechanic does that? He cared more about my state of mind than his pocket! I was about to junk my 2000 Acura Integra. It was overheating so I thought my head gasket was gone. I'm in Downey and my regular mechanic is in Echo Park so I was in a bind. Cerritos Infiniti told me a year ago I needed compression rods for my front suspension, but when I took it to One Stop, Johnny put it on the rack and told me, you don't need them, they are fine. Great, saved me $600 bucks, and now I was able to spend the money on crossed drilled/slotted brake rotors and pads. They were more then happy to install them for me at a great price, and did a top notch job installing them on my G35. I had a stripped oil plug and they replaced it and explained to me how they would have to take the old one off so I understood if they needed to charge more. These mechanics are amazing! They were honest and were really fast. I left my car at 3pm and got it the next day at 10am. They fixed a few things and the owner told me he even drove it around to make sure everything was okay. Diagnosis is $65 but it's waved if you decide to let them repair it for you.
