PLEASE READ!!! One Stop cooling and heating installed our HVAC system in its entirety as they do most of Dream Finders new construction homes. About a month after closing on our new home the AC stopped working. We called one stop and they came and replaced a Honeywell zone Board(HZ221) that they said was not working properly? Then 2 days later the same thing happened to my next door neighbor. Exact same problem...Now, its been a year and a couple months since we closed on the home...We have had One Stop at least 4 times to the house over that year as the system stopped working...each time they fixed the system. Now, the honeywell board apparently stopped working again...One stop said the part is out of warranty after 1 year and said I had to pay for the part and the labor. The part alone they said was $798...not including the service. After talking with Sammy who is the manager for the service department...he said why should we replace something that is out of warranty for free? So while I was talking with him I googled the part that came up in about 3 seconds...$129 I then said...I just looked up the board thats $129 and you are charging me 6 times the price? Doesn't that sound excessive? He said no we have costs and thats our cost for that part...I said I'm more than happy to pay for the labor...But the part is way overpriced and thats not really a fair way to do business is it? He said, you are more than welcome to get service elsewhere. They removed the working Honeywell Board charged me for the service and left me with no functioning AC. Such a nice way to do business right? I then called Honeywell, they said the part is guaranteed for 5 years! One stop is simply trying to mislead and gouge its customers. Apparently this part seems to fail quite often so they have found an easy way to charge its clients an easy $1000 for 45 mins of work. I hired another AC company who is doing the same work for under $200 and gets credit for the bad part from honeywell. To be honest, I can afford the $1000 fix...but I'm more concerned about the families out there who can't. The families that just purchased a home a year prior and maybe don't have an extra pile of money for things like this... read more

After a bad run in with another company, these guys really saved the day. My air handler froze up and I called out a company that gave me the runaround. I originally had Westbrook come out and after spending 10 minutes outside their representative said he filled our system up with 11lbs of freon and that there was a leak in the outside and the inside of the house. He wouldnt identify the leaks, tell me how he knew, and he never even asked to put the freon in. He just did it and charged me almost $400, told me the freon he did put in would leak out too, and told me he would send a representative out to replace the air handler and HVAC. After meeting their sales person a few days later, they wanted to charge me $11k for a new system. After doing some research online, I felt they were overcharging so I called around and found One Stop Heating and Cooling through their website. One Stop sent a guy over who actually looked over my equipment thoroughly and after noting its relative newness he said I should have one of their technicians over for a FREE second opinion to determine if there were really any leaks or any other issues before I spend all that money to replace them. Today Paul R. from One Stop came over and spent a good 45 minutes taking apart my air handler and tracing the coils with this magic wand looking freon detector. He did the same to the heat pump outside. He was incredibly nice and informative just like the previous rep from their company. He was unable to locate a leak so he actually brought out his second freon detector just in case. Still no leaks. This isn't to say there isn't a leak in the line running from the air handler to the heat pump, but I have to say the diligence and thoughtfulness of One Stop really won me over. We agreed to monitor the equipment and in a few months take another look to see how well the heat pump and air handler are running or if any additional freon leaked out. Cost me nothing and possibly saved me a fortune. read more

We had a small air conditioner unit that was on it's last legs so we called One Stop Cooling and their Comfort Consultant John Walker came out and worked with us to get the replacement unit we needed at a price we could afford. Once the choice was made One Stop Cooling office staff set up the time to have it installed and were very nice to speak to on the phone, and helpful with the few questions that I had. Demos and Andy came to install the unit right on time at 8:30 in the morning and worked hard all through the day to get the old unit pulled out and the new one up and running. They were very professional in the way that they worked and are indeed a great asset for One Stop to have on their staff. I must say that it is COOL to have the new unit in place before we really get into the HOT summer months. I plan to get a service contract with One Stop so the unit will remain in top working order in the future. My parents are both in their 90's so I really wanted to have a good cooling unit and it was my Mothers 91st birthday on the day the unit was installed and the installing staff were real nice and wished her a happy birthday. The team of Ken and Jose are true professionals: they are skillful, get the job done, are very hard workers, and do their job well. They were patient with me and treated me like a valued customer. Ken is this a/c genius who knows every little detail about how air conditioning and heat pumps work, and they were both considerate (even though I ask a lot of questions and often followed them back & forth to my attic and out to the condenser). They were here from about 8:30am-6:30pm on a Friday (01/18/2019), didn't ask me for anything, didn't complain about anything, solved the glitches that occurred, and were backed up by a "Comfort Consultant" (Edwin), who not only was very knowledgeable when advising me what equipment I should buy based on my needs and wants, but also went out of his way to bring extra supplies and equipment to help make the installation job go smoothly, and on time. 5 Stars go to all three of these experts, and their Company. read more

We heard of One Stop from a friend of ours, so we gave them a call when we started have issues w our 1997 unit. Our experience with this company was AMAZING. When I called to see if someone could come out, they had a technician, Danny, come out that same day. He was very professional and knowledgeable and insisted if we ever had trouble in the future to call him anytime of the day or night. We needed a new air conditioner and that same day, Steve, with sales came to the house. He was also very knowledgeable and friendly. Two days later, Kyle and Andy showed up to install our new air conditioner. They were fantastic. They did such a great job. So incredibly friendly and I couldn't believe how much work goes into installing a new unit. Everything looks amazing and works great! We couldn't have asked for a better experience. I wish I could give this company negative starts. Unfortunately 1 star is the lowest I can rate them. Awful company and awful service!! Installed 3 brand new units in my brand new home. Pure trash! Problems from day one! Service calls on top of service calls and it got me nowhere with these clowns. Alicia Campbell one of the rudest people I've ever had to interact with. Just pure nastiness every time I called. Derrick is another clown there that is absolutely clueless! All Their tech guys are clueless. They come stare at me like a deer in headlights do nothing and leave. Buyers beware. Believe the negative review. One Stop solved our year long A/C issues! The back of our house was always much hotter than the front. We eventually decided to replace existing unit to see if that would solve the issue as the unit was quite old. Multiple companies told us we would "need a 3rd unit" or "nothing could be done". One Stop replaced existing unit and then worked with our ducts and completely evened out the air flow! We were able to remove the mobile a/c unit we had put in the office in an attempt to keep it cool. 3 weeks later our upstairs unit died.....you know we called One Stop and they were out within 2 days with a new unit. I've previously dealt with a number of AC COMPANIES that are not honest an try to get one over on you. With some hesitation I gave ONE STOP a try and I'm so glad I did. Danny had came to my home on a Sunday afternoon an was very knowledgeable and took you step by step in his process ,not hiding it like others. His findings were pointed out to you an the best solution was laid out. We used One Stop from a recommendation by our neighbor. Knowing nothing about our A/C unit past service record or age, the tech (Alex) told me the age and condition of the unit and advised on what might possibly occur in the future. While offering a maintenance plan, he did not over pressure me to buy as the age of the unit would likely be more economical for us to replace versus repair. Additionally he asked of my past military service and offered the veteran discount which I did not know was available. I went through several HVAC companies since I moved into my house but eventually dropped them because of sub-par performance/mis-diagnoses of my AC problems (one of my units is a bit of a lemon). However I could not be happier with One-Stop's performance. They quickly and correctly identified the issue with my unit (it's been running fine ever since), they are always out to my house within 24 hours or less and all of they're technicians have been extremely knowledgeable, professional and courteous. Jose and Marcos showed up on time; they did the work VERY professionally; they cleaned up the area CLEANER THAN IT WAS to begin with!; they were VERY friendly. One stop came out to fix my dads a/c. They were a little late from the window they gave - but still showed up. It was like 730 but we had no air. Chris K. Came out and was amazing. My AC was leaking water into my garage at about 1 gallon every 5 hours. If untreated quickly it would have likely caused water damage to the walls around the unit and make a big mess. I submitted a request for service on their website and received a call to schedule service for the next morning pretty quickly. I was made aware of the service fee up front. The next morning the technician was able to easily service the clogged drain pipe, get the AC back to normal, and there were no surprise fees. Thanks! read more

The team showed up exactly on schedule in the morning and completed the work by the afternoon.
