I bought commercial tires from this business that they recommended, Sailun. After just three…read moremonths my truck started severely vibrating. After checking my truck over, the only conclusion was that something was wrong with the tires. A different and reputable tire shop I've dealt with for years confirmed these tires are in terrible condition after only three months, and even took pictures of them to post on their social media to warn others. These pros that have also been in the business a very long time have never even heard of this brand. I've never experienced this with multiple brands I've purchased in the past, and spent about the same amount of money on them. I gave Firebird an opportunity to make things right and prorate these tires but they refused. I will never go back.

Update. This is my second time leaving an honest review for this company. My first review was taken…read moredown. Over $3,500 worth of damage caused. I can't believe any real "auto technicians" could let a vehicle leave the lot like this. They saw this and said nothing or didn't see it at all. Either option is incredibly scary and shows how incompetent they are. My brake line was completely bent. Also do not bother with the "claims" department they have no working number and outsource everything to a third party company who will take months to respond and deny your claim and all responsibility anyways. Also just know if they comment on this review and say something like "we take this seriously and will be reaching out" they will absolutely not be reaching out and just commenting to say face. They said something similar on my first review that was take down.

They took it for a test drive, removed the driver's side rim, and the young mechanic begins saying "oh, no, no." He has barely removed the rim at this point. Never did he move the rotor to check for lateral play, before stating, "your control arm bushings are shot, and tie rods need replaced". As a mechanic by trade, it was obvious, they were either looking to make a minor adjustment into a front end rebuild, or they just did not want to do the work.

I did a google and yelp search on wheels shops and read the great reviews about AZ Tire Shop, they were not wrong. From start to finish Dennis and Richard were amazing to work with. I needed wheels for my truck and had questions about them like offset and how that worked along with ride control questions. Dennis was very sincere and easy to speak with and had great recommendations. He answered all of my question's including ones about a lift that I was thinking about. I have to say they exceeded all my expectations by listening to what I wanted and gave me a great recommendations on the computer. I eventually with the Black Rhino - Kelso wheels. I will definitely be back and do more business with them. Locally owned and a family run operation. No pressure selling and I can see why now they have such great reviews. I was going to have extra service done that I was told need or should be done. Without indicating there was ANY cost involved whatsoever, Front Desk Guy sweetly asked "would you like us to give it a once-over?" Which, since I was at that time a regular customer, I THOUGHT that meant just give it a safety-check out of courtesy to a repeat, publicly complimentary, senior-citizen client that they maybe cared for! How wrong I was. After having it several days, they tell me that they can't fix the original problem because they "Couldn't find the part - and wouldn't install an after-market part off of Ebay" (My car is a 1999 w/ low mileage) Then the real Clinker after 3 days: They call and say, "We couldn't fix your problem, but come and get your truck and pay Christian Bro's nearly $200 bucks for a "diagnostic" that I WAS NOT INFORMED UP FRONT would cost anything at all! But also, this 'Diagnostic' informs me that my truck needs OVER $4300 DOLLARS in servicings and repairs - Including NEW BRAKES that, apparently the "Diagnostic expert" wasn't aware had been replaced by them on that very truck a few months earlier! I felt totally taken advantage of and complained to the manager, John, who gave me some "yada yada" and stated that that particular employee working the front desk was fired - However, and this is the whole point of the story - This manager of this multi-million dollar, allegedly 'Christian', gold-mine on the corner of Thunderbird & 75th Ave would NOT refund all, or any part, of this deceitful charge with a humble apology for their unscrupulous employee (note: Failure to disclose a COST right up front is a LIE ) Not only that, but Upsell #1 opened the door for MEGA-UPSELL #2 of $4,319 dollars! I STILL look back at this lengthy report with shock and awe. According to this diagnostic that I didn't ask for, there's no reason, whatsoever, my truck is still able to roll down the street. According to them, practically EVERYTHING on my vehicle is on it's last couple of miles.; Lastly, and final insult to my patronage, my age, my intelligence, nor would Christian Brothers even offer a discount or a half-off on the next visit to them. You know, a way of saying, "We still want your business". I think they saw a senior-woman and saw a dumb sucker ready to be plucked out of the stream of suckers. In that lone experience, I learned Christian Brothers is all about "Show me the $ MONEY $" They are only after the money, and customer retention is completely moot. They could care LESS if you are a returning customer. I am no longer using Christian Brothers for any auto repair needs. If anyone knows of an HONEST, caring, competent auto mechanic around Peoria/Glendale please be so kind as to DM me.
