    Spicy creamy shrimp tempura

3.11.26- Today, I had lunch at Jinya in Sandy Springs. I was seated immediately upon arrival in a cozy, less crowded area. They currently offer a lunch special from 11PM to 2 PM, including any ramen and select appetizers for $18 until May 31, 2026. I chose the crispy chicken and spicy creamy vegan ramen, adding a seasoned egg and Brussels sprouts. The food arrived promptly and was fresh. My only issue was that my egg was hard-boiled, which I didn't request; however, the waiter corrected this and provided a new one. I enjoyed my meal and had some ramen to-go. Jinya remains a favorite of mine, and they usually maintain consistent quality in both service and food.

The food is so good. The food came out so quick and the server was kind. The ramen combo was a great price for the amount of food. The restaurant is cute and cozy.

I gained a lot of nonchalantness because of the fried chicken however those noodles were aah. I would have given 4 out of 5 stars if the fries were more crispy and large. Service and Ambiance was great. And also make sure to put WAY less salt it was very salty. Place is very cute

Ordered tonkatsu black with extra noodles for take out. Frustrating that I received half a cup of soup for a bowl of noodles. I usually dine in but decided to order take out and will go elsewhere from now on. Not worth the $20-25ish price tag.

I've tried a couple of ramen spots up here in Atlanta, but I find myself repeatedly leaning towards Jinya at the moment as being my go-to spot. The Birria Ramen (w/ Fresh Garlic, Spinach, Kikurage, Bok Choy) is an absolutely gift of satisfaction on a cold rainy day (toss in some gyozas and you have yourself the perfect meal). The Chicken Chashu Bowl was something that was recommended to me by my roommate at the time, and boy was it a delicious revelation for the tastebuds. I would definitely trying all three items if you ever pass by Jinya.

Good food , it was busy but not noisy . Service was fast and friendly. It was a busy Wednesday night for around the area , so parking was hard to find .

It had to be what I ordered because the hype is serious behind this place. My mother invited me to this ramen bar because she was getting her nails done and the techs were going on and on about it. It was one of those freezing rainy nights one weekday after work. It sounded amazing! I had heard a lot about Jinya and wanted to give them a try. I am a frequent customer to other Ramen bars throughout Sandy Springs and this is always one that people mention. There was a small wait to get in which is not a bad thing, but sucked this night because it was freezing outside and there is only room for about 5 adults in the doorway at the front. We were not for standing outside of the door so we went to the first available bar seats. (Ramen bar single seating, not drink bar). We sat and were greeted promptly and chose our drinks... Disclaimer*** Our server was new We asked for the favorites and what we should try, she did not know and was not a drinker so we were at Yelp's mercy. The drinks took about 10 minutes to come out and so did the food. I had the Pork Boa Bun and the Premium Tonkotsu Red, {Spicy}. My mother had the Jinya Chicken Ramen and added a salad. The noodles were thicker which is awesome for the next day warm up round 2 (After making my own flavor additions). The broth makes the ramen!... The broth was bland. Not a fan. I added more spice to mine to try to liven it up, eh... I think I was just so ready to be WOW'd. My mother asked for salt and pepper and they brought a pinch of salt and pepper out on a dish... KEEP IN MIND... I go to Ramen places and do not touch the seasonings I'm here for the culturally different experience, seasonings, flavors, delicacies and allat! So don't do that. I don't have to add to it and even if I decide to I surely don't have to do much to make a difference. The salad was mixed greens and cherry tomatoes with a side of dressing... My mother was expecting more so she took it home to dress it up. EH The Boa bun was delicious... I definitely could've gotten 3 of those and been happy! I would suggest putting this pork belly in the ramen bowl instead of the lean cut that came with it. I will say that the menu is extensive and has more than just ramen, but for Ramen Bar to be in the name I expected more flavor wise... The hype is over rated. IF I go back, it will be by invite and I will be venturing away from the ramen and exploring more on the menu. Maybe I will be more impressed. The drinks were well crafted, your drinking to be cute not to feel any of it. Which for me just adds to the 3 *. Just ok.

This is one of my many favorite Ramen restaurants. The soup base is so tasty, it is spiced and seasoned perfectly. I have had some of their said dishes, like the chicken Karage, dumplings and salad, but I usually add these as part of the combo option. The service is good, the servers are usually available if you need help and they usually don't interrupt you too much while you are eating. This is a great place to have dinner or lunch with friends. When you come in make sure they greet you with their "IRASHAI!"

I love jinya the quality is amazing every time I come by. The service is typically decent as it seems the staff is very busy the whole shift. I always get the creamy vegan, crispy Brussel sprouts, fries, pork bun, fried chicken, dumplings.. really all of it is good!

Stopped by JINYA in Sandy Springs and really enjoyed it. I had the Spicy Chicken Ramen, which was flavorful with just the right kick, and we shared the Gyoza, which were crisp and tasty. Our server was absolutely amazing, super friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. I wish I could remember his name. Definitely coming back!

We came here on a Saturday night and only had to wait about 15 minutes before being seated at the community table. It was a packed night; however, things were starting to slow down so tables were clearing a bit as the night went on. I started with the Jinya pork belly bun and it was okay. There wasn't any particular sauce or flavoring that stood out and would make me want to order this again. The pork gyoza was good and great with the sauce provided, so I'd get these again. The spicy chicken ramen was delicious and well seasoned. I wish I would've gotten the egg to go with it, so will definitely do that next time. The broth was so good and perfect for this very cold night in Sandy Springs.

Came here for an early dinner . Sat outside and enjoyed a few appetizers. I've been to the JINYA in Buford so I've enjoyed their beer flights & ramen . This time I got the Spicy Creamy Shrimp Tempura , Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna, JINYA Bun and the Impossible Gyoza. All great . I arrive about 30 min earlier then a friend who was running late in meeting me and both the hostess and my waiter didn't seem annoyed or irritated that I was waiting so long to order . Great service and a wonderful spot to catch up with an old friend .

My best friend and I are addicted to this place. I always get the spicy chicken ramen and we always share some salmon sushi that is literally so good. Jinya is so welcoming & the servers are so sweet. This is great for family gatherings, bestie dates, or even just a casual lunch. They have restrooms, all kinds of seating suitable for disabled people as well, & the calmest ambiance.

Ask the Community - JINYA Ramen Bar - Sandy Springs

Is the outdoor area dog friendly?

    Yes it is!

Is there soy sauce in tonkotsu ramen?

I'm not sure but I don't think so.

Is the noodle egg and dairy free?

Most ramen noodles are made from 4 ingredients: wheat flour, water, salt and kansui (alkaline mineral water) - not sure about Jinya but generally speaking there are no eggs, milk or butter.

Hi JINYA! What are the ingredients in the spinach noodles? Do they contain flour, rice or corn or are they made with another base? I'm low carb and was wondering if the spinach noodles were low carb?

Do you guys have any Gluten Free options?

    They offer spinach noodles.

Our server was very patient and had no problem explaining, re-explaining, and confirming with the chef if he wasn't 100% on an answer. I got a tofu rice bowl, which I typically don't get and it was delicious! I asked if the salad could be put on the side rather than in the bowl and was given a full side salad that I wound up mixing into my rice lol. I also added broccoli to the bowl, which I probably wouldn't do again because it was pretty bland, but overall the bowl was good. Now the vegan dumplings... were FANTASTIC! We shared the dumplings and everyone agreed that they were easily the best thing that we had eaten the whole day. The green color threw me off at first, but the crispiness and texture of the dumpling was amazing. I would love to go back and try the ramen to see how it measures up, but again, great experience. Also, when you are paying the check, they bring you a small bucket full of dum dum lollipops, which I thought was a great touch. Me and my adult guests all left like happy children, which is exactly how eating out should make you feel.

I ordered the same spicy Tonkotsu ramen I had before, but it tasted completely different this time. I remember the noodles being very fresh and the broth having a much richer flavor. This visit honestly reminded me a little of Jinya's ramen, which personally isn't my favorite style. The broth almost tasted creamy, like milk had been added. Maybe not, but it just didn't taste as fresh to me with a deep flavor as before. Someone also recommended the Okiboru buns, and I wasn't too impressed with those either. I originally wanted the braised ribs, but TikTok hype convinced me otherwise, so that part is on me. Looking back, I think the ribs or even the panko shrimp probably would've been the better choice. The shrimp is my normal app so I take fault for the switch up. Overall, I'd still say give it a try for yourself because everyone's taste is different. There are a lot of ramen spots around Atlanta now, though, and this visit just didn't leave me as impressed as my previous ones did. Just being honest.
