So this is in a a shopping area so you do have free parking in this city. But it's not a really large shopping area so be aware of that. When you try to park. You may not be able to park right up front next to the door. I want to say first and foremost the spot has a really good happy hour situation. So you want to take a look at that happy hour menu. The service was actually pretty good and was fast so I didn't wait a whole long time to get my food and everybody was really cool and friendly. Brussel sprouts - The brussel sprouts were okay. They came temporary style so they were fried and battered. I'm pretty sure those are ranch dressing that went along with them, or maybe the sauce for the fries was that and sauce, I'm not sure. But they were okay. But I wouldn't rush back to them necessarily. Crispy chicken - The crispy chicken was decent. It came in very large chunks of chicken, kind of like smaller chicken tenders. Nothing out of the box though. They were only so seasoned, nothing got to make your mouth explode LOL Beef chashu bowl - This bowl was good. Kind of reminds me of that. I'm getting your beef kind of flavor. It's basically a rice bowl if you traded the ramen and the broth for rice. And you have that beef and the egg and a couple of other accompaniments, but it's really good or very far too. I kind of a brown sugar teriyaki kind of blend and if you want to know the flavor profile. Spicy chicken ramen - was good. I got it spicy but it's another level above that. If you want more heat. It comes with two chicken in it, and plenty of very good news. The broth is super savory and it will make you tingle a little bit LOL. French fries - The fries are shoestring fries and they're okay. They currently offer a lunch special from 11PM to 2 PM, including any ramen and select appetizers for $18 until May 31, 2026. I chose the crispy chicken and spicy creamy vegan ramen, adding a seasoned egg and Brussels sprouts. The food arrived promptly and was fresh. My only issue was that my egg was hard-boiled, which I didn't request; however, the waiter corrected this and provided a new one. I enjoyed my meal and had some ramen to-go. The spicy chicken ramen met my expectations. It sold for 20 dollars. I got two meals out of it because it was a generous portion. I would defiantly eat this ramen again. I really liked the deco. I also liked how they give a sneak peak into the kitchen. I always like restaurants where I can surreptitiously peak into the kitchen to see what's going on. I've tried a couple of ramen spots up here in Atlanta, but I find myself repeatedly leaning towards Jinya at the moment as being my go-to spot. The Birria Ramen (w/ Fresh Garlic, Spinach, Kikurage, Bok Choy) is an absolutely gift of satisfaction on a cold rainy day (toss in some gyozas and you have yourself the perfect meal). The Chicken Chashu Bowl was something that was recommended to me by my roommate at the time, and boy was it a delicious revelation for the tastebuds. It had to be what I ordered because the hype is serious behind this place. My mother invited me to this ramen bar because she was getting her nails done and the techs were going on and on about it. I am a frequent customer to other Ramen bars throughout Sandy Springs and this is always one that people mention. There was a small wait to get in which is not a bad thing, but sucked this night because it was freezing outside and there is only room for about 5 adults in the doorway at the front. We were not for standing outside of the door so we went to the first available bar seats. (Ramen bar single seating, not drink bar). We sat and were greeted promptly and chose our drinks... Disclaimer*** Our server was new We asked for the favorites and what we should try, she did not know and was not a drinker so we were at Yelp's mercy. The drinks took about 10 minutes to come out and so did the food. I had the Pork Boa Bun and the Premium Tonkotsu Red, {Spicy}. My mother had the Jinya Chicken Ramen and added a salad. The noodles were thicker which is awesome for the next day warm up round 2 (After making my own flavor additions). The broth makes the ramen!... The broth was bland. Not a fan. I added more spice to mine to try to liven it up, eh... I think I was just so ready to be WOW'd. My mother asked for salt and pepper and they brought a pinch of salt and pepper out on a dish... KEEP IN MIND... I go to Ramen places and do not touch the seasonings I'm here for the culturally different experience, seasonings, flavors, delicacies and allat! So don't do that. I don't have to add to it and even if I decide to I surely don't have to do much to make a difference. The salad was mixed greens and cherry tomatoes with a side of dressing... My mother was expecting more so she took it home to dress it up. EH The Boa bun was delicious... I definitely could've gotten 3 of those and been happy! This is one of my many favorite Ramen restaurants. The soup base is so tasty, it is spiced and seasoned perfectly. I have had some of their said dishes, like the chicken Karage, dumplings and salad, but I usually add these as part of the combo option. They enjoyed it but I sampled it and it tastes like a Birria taco....duh! Not the flavor I'm looking for in ramen, but to each their own. The appetizer of Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna was excellent. Every time I go here I leave feeling full and satisfied. Parking is a little difficult during peak lunch time hours, so get here early or during dinner. Plenty of great selections and the wait staff is friendly and happy to explain what everything is. I love this place. I crave it weekly. It's consistent every location you go. So if you become familiar with their options, you can bet it will taste the same no matter where you go. Service is sometimes too fast. So if you want a delay between appetizers and your meal, order them separately or ask them to stagger the order some or you'll get it all at the same time. It can be loud at times when it's busy, but the locations all have great decorations and plenty of space to eat if you're solo. Good place to go if you're solo. read more

Location-wise, this is my favorite Jinya in the Atlanta area. It's spacious, not as busy as the other locations tend to get, everyone's pretty friendly and welcoming. But we got super unlucky with a server who had a bad attitude and didn't bring me what I asked for. To be clear, I've probably been to 10 different Jinya locations across 3 states and generally order my go-to (Tonkotsu Black with chili oil on the side). As I've always done, I asked for chili oil on the side- she brought me the spicy paste. I kindly said that the paste is not what I wanted and asked if she could bring me the oil on the side. She said no your ramen doesn't come with chili oil, and walked away. Me and my girlfriend love Jinya, it is definitely my favorite ramen bar. I've visited mostly all of them in the Atlanta area but my favorite is definitely the Buckhead location. The restaurant is nice and casual, and when I walked in, I was immediately seated. The waitress was attentive and came to the table to ask if we were ready order fairly often. She wanted to make sure we were happy. I ordered Spicy Vegan ramen, extra spicy which took a while to come out but it was delicious! I couldn't stop eating this ramen. I did wish they added more veggies to the ramen. It felt like it was the broth and noodles with some veggies and tofu mixed in. My friends got spicy tonkotsu ramen, which they enjoyed thoroughly. The waitress did mess up on couple of our bills but it was fixed quickly. I was a little upset for being charged an extra dollar extra spicy taste.
