The staff is amazing, and the rooms are unusually large and inviting for a boarding facility. For an extra charge they will email you a photo and brief update on how your cat is doing. It's so reassuring!! It makes it not so lonesome for us getting fun photos of cat when we are away. Anya, and her caring staff not only love cats but are experts at caring for them. They have vet techs on staff who know what to look for and what to do if there is an unexpected kitty health issue. We so appreciate that they can do a nail trim when he's there so we don't have to!! Their manager Shanon, is a certified pet nutritionist. She was so helpful when I needed advice on how best to help our 15 lb cat Ozzie loose some weight. Our neighbor took their indoor/outdoor cat there when their wood floors were being refinished. Sam is an adopted stray. He was shy and nervous and he'd never been boarded. They knew exactly how to make him feel comfortable and not so scared about being in a new strange place, and he did just fine. I could go on and on about how much I like this place and why I recommend it but will wrap it up. Take your cat here. It's a Portland gem! Julie Mae

Yesterday, got out of school early and decided to pick up the pups and bring them over. We walked in, it was empty and my small dog is very noticeable since he's on the ground. As she tries to give him a treat, he's uninterested so the worker kept trying different flavors until we found a winner. As she tried to give my dog a treat she noticed my other dog in my arms and laughed since my tiny dog tried to snatch the treat meant for my dog who can walk on his own. We walked around a bit, got entertained. The cheeseburger treats apparently smells like real cheeseburger! Haha. But my dog was interested in the cod. Real friendly people, lots of luxurious dog supplies. One day I will spoil my dogs and get clothes from there but until then I will keep shopping for treats :)

We love Wild Pet Provisions!!!…read more My sweet pup, Monae, and I have been going to Wild Pet Provisions since I adopted her in 2021! When I adopted my pup, she had such a hard time adjusting to the food, and allergens of the Portland area, as she is originally from Mexico. I went to get vet opinions, and we could not find a solution for her tummy. She had a scray pancreatitis flare-up and ended up in the hospital. With that, I knew I needed answers, and was able to to connect with Heather! Heather was able to address Monae's dietary needs, and we came up with a diet that fit Monae's needs. Heather literally saved Monae's life! The Wild Fam is equally amazing - Lindsey, Hoku, and Max are awesome! They made Monae and I feel like part of the wild family. Lindsey gave me frequent tips on how to work with Monae's moods, especially during the first year of Monae's adoption. So much so, if you met Monae her first year, and met her now, she is a completely different pup - confident, happy, and secure. I know for sure the Wild fam differently contributed to her healthy self! Thanks Wild! PS. Wild Provision has the biggest selection of raw food I've ever seen in a pet store! This is a long overdue review. Also, I think this is more like a thank-you letter to Jen than a…read morereview. As many others have stated, Jen is amazing. Our dog, Shaka, just loved spending time with her and the other pups she cared for. We were a little worried at first about his temperament being around others (humans and other animals) since he gets a little skittish, but he seemed to thrive there. When it was pick-up time, he was always happy and seemed to sleep very well from getting his exercise and socialize in. (He also smelled great on his longer stays. Thank you for the baths!) Jen is super flexible and communicative. We were so appreciative of this since we tend be rather spontaneous and would ask to drop him off the day before sometimes. We also would extend his stay last minute, for example, when we were taking road trips and wanted to stop for the night instead of driving all the way through a town. (Sorry and thank you so much, Jen!) Shaka has stayed over from one day to two weeks (possibly more), and each time, we've received text updates from her and even pictures of him happy with his friends. I always looked forward to those. Shaka passed away early last year, and I've been meaning to write this for a long time to say, "Thank you, Jen!" for being such a wonderful caregiver and trustworthy and friendly person overall. Dog parents, I 1000% recommend Jen.
