Fancy French bakery with meticulously prepared food that takes a long time to prepare. The exotic menu matches the exotic price for the items.

So I had to come see what all the commotion was about I came on a Friday morning and it was actually pretty packed -- I guess a lot of people called out that day I ended up trying their banana matcha and I absolutely loved it! For my meal, I got the Chipotle Steak Benedict. It was okay... I'd probably give it a 6/10. I feel like something was missing from the dish. And of course, I couldn't leave without trying dessert I got the lemon cake and it actually tasted how lemon is supposed to taste -- super lemony, tangy, and sour in the best way possible. It was really good! And the restaurant aesthetic was very cute. I felt very welcome and the customer service was 100! I liked it. They're very creative with this little croissant cake.! but I definitely do wanna come back and try the rest of their desserts and they're in their dish of course..

Came back again because I loved my first visit so much. I had to take my sister here and it was so good. I can never decided what drinks I want because I want their whole menu. I just wish it wasn't so far for me. I love coming here and they have a massive food selection and so many sweets, they all look so pretty. I can't wait to go back.

Came to One Twelve Caffe for the first time after I found the location on Yelp. The caffe is a cute meet up spot for brunch. They have a good pastry selection along with food and drinks. The service was excellent and young lady at the register provided recommendations. I ordered the breakfast burrito that comes with chipotle sauce and jalapeños inside but ordered them on the side. It was very flavorful and not spicy. I have had better breakfast burritos. The butter croissant 10/10! Definitely worth checking out.

One Twelve Cafe is definitely the 'posh' spot in town. The line moved fast, which was great, though the staff seemed a little rushed and hurried us through the process once it was our turn. The Scoop on the Sweets: * Biscoff Cookie Cheesecake: 10/10. Definitely order this. * The Fruit Mousse Desserts: These are stunning and very trendy, but they didn't quite hit the same flavor high as the cheesecake for me. * The Vibe: Beautiful outdoor seating area--perfect for a sunny day. I'll be back to try their actual kitchen menu next time, but for a quick dessert run, it's a solid (and very pretty) choice!

TikTok videos failed me once again on another viral "must try". We were in Downey and decided to try this for some coffee and dessert. I had the best seller biscoff Cookie iced coffee. It was okay. Small cup full of ice for $7. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind paying for good coffee. Just disappointed when it's over hyped and it's not great. My husband had the curtado and it tasted vey acetic. The Dubai chocolate croissant was very, very sweet. It was overwhelming.

Came here on a Friday around 12 fairly busy already. But service was good even for to go orders. Ordered a iced vanilla latte it was on the stronger coffee side. The chocolate muffin i asked for it warm but wasn't fully warmed up inside was cold. The flaky berry pastry was super sweet but well toasted. The matcha original was good. All in all good for a one time try.

One Twelve Caffe was such a gem. Upon entering you're greeted with the nicest staff inside this well lit gorgeous cafe that almost feels magical. Thank you Bryan for being so helpful and answering all of my group's questions. I was able to try a lot of different menu items and I couldn't tell you one I didn't like. I thought the panini was delicious as well as their pesto pasta. The pesto sauce was soo good. I would come back just for the pasta. Plus those drinks are super cute and you can choose the milk of your choice. I like all the different options they have. It is a pretty extensive menu for drinks, food, and pastries which is crazy to me since everything I had tasted so good as well.

Great place to study with friends. Spacious and cute decor. I had the kids breakfast and peach matcha for breakfast and tuna salad for lunch. Tuna salad was a huge portion for a great price. Friends and I really enjoyed the fruit desserts. We had the banana, pear, and mango. All exceptional. Loved the fruit filling. Service was excellent. Everyone was attentive and polite. Bryan really made us feel welcomed and comfortable. Service was 100 stars.

Had a great time trying this new brunch spot in Downey. I appreciate how the crispy chicken bowl had a lot of chicken and less potatoes. Everything was classically well made and simple but nothing stood out about it. It was lacking a little seasoning in my personal opinion. Eggs are also well cooked jammy, Still a great place for a simple American brunch.

Place is cute! Aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Robot arm making coffee is cool. Order at the counter, self-seating and food brought to table by staff. Cashier could have been friendlier, wait staff was mild not too warm. Bathroom was single use, clean. I ordered a lavender honey latte and also a creme brûlée latte. Both were milk heavy and very sweet. Definitely order an add shot for the size and less sweet because it was milky syrup for my party. Food was very seasoned which is typically good but in this case I felt like my fingers bloated as I was eating from the sodium intake specifically the potatoes. Croissant sandwich was a big portion but everything was with just a lot. A lot cheese, a lot of egg, a lot of chipotle aioli. Crepe for breakfast sounded exciting but it was subpar. I didn't even think to take a photo for a $16 for an egg and the crepe itself was so so. This place with some modifications of my order is not bad, but personally a skip for me.

Such a cute coffee spot with great attention to detail! One of my favorite things is that they can customize the cold foam with any logo or design you want, which makes the drinks feel extra special and perfect for photos. The coffee itself was smooth and delicious, and the presentation was amazing. Their pastry selection is just as impressive. We tried a few desserts and they were fresh, beautifully made, and tasted as good as they looked. The food menu is also worth mentioning--everything was flavorful and well-prepared. The atmosphere is cozy, stylish, and perfect for catching up with friends, working, or treating yourself to a coffee date. If you're looking for a café that combines creativity, great drinks, and amazing pastries, this place is definitely worth a visit! Highly recommend the custom cold foam drinks and pastries--you won't be disappointed.

Tried the new breakfast spot at Downey Landing. The place looks great and is very Instagram-able, but the food didn't quite deliver. I ordered the chicken bowl and it had a lot going on but surprisingly very little flavor. Needed Tabasco just to wake it up. We also tried a few pastries: Mango - 10/10 (best thing we had) Banana - 5/10 Lemon - 2/10 Biscoff cheesecake - 10/10 Total came out to $105 for 2 plates, 4 pastries, and 1 coffee. Not shocking for LA, but still steep for what we got. Honestly, I probably would've been happier with a breakfast burrito from a local mom-and-pop spot. Wishing them success, but this will likely be a one-and-done visit for me.

The drink itself was just okay--I've had it before and expected a bit more since it's one of their popular items. I ordered a cold drink, and it was average, about a 3 out of 5. My best friend ordered a hot drink and enjoyed hers more than I did mine. As for the pan dulce, one felt a bit stale, so I chose another based on texture alone, and that one was noticeably fresher. Overall, I'd rate the experience a 3 out of 5 due to the limited morning options and inconsistency in freshness, though the staff and drinks weren't bad--just not outstanding this visit.

I was planning to check out a weekend pop-up at the Promenade at Downey, and afterwards, I just wanted to chill with a couple of drinks at 7 Leaves. Wait, *a couple* of drinks? Oh yes! I noticed that 7 Leaves had an offer for rewards members: Free Strawberry Hibiscus Tea with a $5 purchase. I could have gotten a couple small bites e.g. macarons with the Strawberry Hibiscus Tea, but I chose to get another refresher: Summer Mint, priced at $5.50. I don't think the offer would have worked inside the cafe, so I placed my order in my car and headed inside after doing so. Previously in the app, I was able to order all the toppings for a complimentary drink at no extra charge, but these days, you're only allowed one complimentary topping; I chose the crystal boba. I needed to use the restroom, so while my drinks were being crafted, the bobarista at the front gave me the six-digit code specifically for the left restroom. Was the right restroom reserved for employees only? Hmm not sure. However, as soon as I punched in the code for the left restroom, it was still locked because another customer was inside. I wouldn't have known if it was occupied or not, so I tried the code on the right restroom. Didn't work. I had to wait for that other customer to exit the restroom before I could punch in the restroom code for the third time. As soon as I left the restroom, I heard the bobarista call out my name, and she handed me my drinks in a takeout bag with a drink carrier holding my drinks. But since there was space on the community table by the front counter, I sat at an open seat there to enjoy my drinks and scroll through my phone. My takeout bag included two straws: one regular, and one boba. I went with the Regular Size Summer Mint since it was already over $5, and 40 oz of refreshing drinks would already be quite a lot in one visit anyways. I also declined on a topping, normally 90 cents, for the Summer Mint because with or without a topping, I would still only earn 6 leaves on my purchase. The Strawberry Hibiscus Tea didn't have any actual strawberry bits, but it did have a slice of lime in it. In the app, you can request extra sweet, but that drink was already inherently quite sweet that I fear if I had chosen extra sweet, it would have been over the top. The Summer Mint had a slice of orange and some basil leaves. It was kind of sour and had quite a citrus-y taste, a stark contrast from the strawberry hibiscus that I alternated sips between the two drinks so that my taste buds wouldn't be bored lol. If you wanted to go extra sweet on this one, I wouldn't recommend against it, but it may take away from the intended flavor of the refresher. For both drinks, I ordered Easy Ice, but I think they went Medium on the ice if that makes sense. It was more than I was expecting, so maybe I should request no ice next time lol. They have a pitcher of water at the front counter, which made me want to finish my drinks inside, and then fill up the cups with some H2O prior to leaving. Unfortunately, they had run out of water, and they didn't refill the pitcher. One thing I do want to mention about the drink carrier is that you need to shove the drinks into the slots. I tried setting my Strawberry Hibiscus Tea back inside, but it toppled over easily. Luckily, it was still sealed at the time, so nothing, or maybe a little bit at best, spilled out. The only negative about my last visit was that there was some little kid who came into the cafe trying to sell paletas to patrons who were studying or getting work done inside. Kind of disruptive to the coffee shop ambience I had sought, but he left after a couple of minutes. Overall, I'd be willing to return for a nice refreshing drink next time I'm in Downey!
