Found this location on TikTok. Came during the week when arriving everyone was so nice and helpful. Tables all seemed to be busy but while we order some people left and servers were quick in cleaning them up. We decided to try the spicy chicken Alfredo great flavor I did feel like it had a kick to it but really good and portion was good for the price. The pineapple pancakes were also really good. We also got what I think was the La Croissanwich really packed croissant with egg cheese and veggies, the breakfast potatoes that came with it were my favorite. They have seating indoor and outdoor which I loved. So many drink and pastries to choose from. I can't wait to try more of the food options and pastries.
cute cafe located in the downey promenade right next to the green olive. lots of indoor and outdoor seating. for this visit, we chose to sit in their outdoor patio. there were fans blowing and a nice breeze at that time. we ordered their club sandwich with french fries to share, and an Oreo cheesecake for dessert. we tried 3 of their drinks: hibiscus refresher, mocha latte, and banana matcha. the club sandwich was a good portion shared amongst us 3. especially because the french fries accompanied was very filling. you order up at the counter, given a number, and then you choose where to sit. staff here is very friendly and attentive. they even walk around to check on you. i really enjoyed my hibiscus refresher on a hot summer day. my daughters loved their drinks and we all agreed it was worth another visit to try their other menu items. plenty of parking in the surrounding lots. great place to meet up with a friend and chitchat and catch up. will be returning again!
I stopped by because my mother saw this place on Facebook and was intrigued to try it out. I was like your wish is my command madam!! We ordered their chicken Caesar wrap & their spicy chicken Alfredo per recommendation of the staff as well. This was the first time I ordered a chicken Caesar wrap at an establishment and it was okay. Plenty of chicken! The flavor was just lacking. I wasn't getting Caesar salad... I was getting like chicken and lettuce and cheese flavor nothing else. The wrap/tortilla wasn't the softest. Kinda stiff. The spicy chicken Alfredo.... I ordered because it was recommended by staff. I've made something similar, if not better at home. $25 for a plate of pasta and some chicken is wild. It's a large portion but I would not get it again. I wasn't wowed. It tasted like home cooking with a high price tag. Their coffee bar is cute with the idea of getting something printed on the cold foam. It's a cutesy thing, I understand it being an attraction for most. I thought their chai latte was good. After eating we went back inside to order pastries and a gentleman helped us and the customer service was drastically different. Definitely unappreciated, especially considering 4 pieces of dessert came out to $45. He was rude, got my mom's name wrong after repeating her simple name twice and there was no instruction on if the pastry was brought to us or not?? It was weird, we asked a different staff member who was nicer and explain their system to us. Not the worst experience but it was an experience to try this place out. There's indoor & outdoor seating. Open parking in the plaza.
This place is so cute! I Ordered an iced Spanish latte with a Bad Bunny design on top! Tried out two of their pastries and both were so good! Especially the Dubai chocolate croissant. My friend got the cookie latte and she loved it. The customer service there is also amazing.
I definitely get the hype about this place. It's extremely clean Huge outdoor patio It's really pretty inside with their color scheme and chandelier The case with all the beautiful desserts are so clean you can see your reflection lol Everyone comes here to see the robot (all the times my friends have came here they haven't seen it make a drink. And unfortunately, I only saw it wave. It's still REALLY cool though honestly) They have a nice brunch and lunch menu Portions are pretty large. Which is a plus in my book They do have free serve yourself spa infused water However, no matter how good a place is, I will not return if the service is bad. I walked up to the counter to place my order, and David did not even look up at me. Did not say hi, did not say I'll be with you shortly, did not acknowledge me, period. This actually really upset me to the point I almost left. Only reason I stayed is because I was meeting a friend here. After standing here for a while, another worker came out and took my order. (I sat there and watched David take other orders, acknowledged other customers, checked on other people but never once helped me) I understand if David was off the clock or something. But he still could have said welcome in, hello or etc. Before writing this review, I actually read some of the bad ones. And a lot mentioned how rude he was. So I'm very surprised the owner has not pulled him aside Everything would have been great if the service was better. There was one amazing waitress and I believe her name was Jasmine. She was extremely sweet 5 stars for how clean and cute the place is 5 stars for the taste of food and large portion 0 stars for the cheesecake. I tried 3 different ones and did not like them. I did not make a fuss and try to return them. 0 stars for service (David) so unfortunately I will not return. Also, this place does get very crowded and loud. So just a heads up
Came here to meet my dad for breakfast and wasn't disappointed. Got there around 9 so it wasn't too busy. Service was quick. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We got the steak and eggs, Americano, avocado toast with an egg, and a lucky charms matcha. Everything tasted great. I wanna come back go try their desserts/pastries next time. Cute spot to try!
I had to take care of something in the area and yelped a place to get coffee/ matcha. This place popped up and it had good review ratings so, I decided to check it out. Staff are nice. There was a line when I went, but it moved fast. One of the drinks that were recommended to me was the Cinnamon Oat Latte. I love cinnamon so how bad could the drink be? I liked the crushed ice it came with but the drink tasted odd. It was strange and the flavor was not good. Not something I would recommend nor order again, but luckily they have a wide variety to choose from - coffee and matcha. They also have a large selection of food, as well.
Such a cool new place to try here in Downey! David was very helpful with helping us decide what to order. I trusted him to bring out a dish that I would like and he brought out a breakfast bowl with chipotle aioli. Perfect mix of spicy to the food. All staff is so friendly and the place remained clean the entire time. Definitely will be coming back in the future. Again shout out to David for being welcoming and helpful with our meals!
Cafe in the Downey Promenade next to the theater. 1st time here. They have seats inside and outside. There's no table service. You order at the counter, get a number and they bring your food. Food portions were pretty good. I shared with my dtr and we still had food to go. The French toast was crispy and filled with creme. The creme was not too sweet. The crepes were delicious too. Ordered the pesto and stroganoff. The pesto was a lil salty for my taste but my dtr said it was fine. The stroganoff was very delicious. Good meat and sauce ratio. Would order that again. Matchas: Blue matcha and banana matcha. Sorry but this was a miss for us. We love matcha and they both tasted really artificial. Not enough matcha. The banana matcha tasted like artificial banana flavor and the blue matcha tasted like vanilla latte. We might come back for the food but unfortunately not the matcha. Maybe their coffee-based drinks are good but wouldn't recommend the matcha if you're a true matcha-connoisseur. As far as the customer service, I think it was a manager or something but he was very attentive and made sure we were good. Thank you for that!
This cafe is so cute! They have Tom, a robot, making your coffee! I got a Chai latte and they can put any design you want on top! We ordered a crepe, club sandwich, a Dubai croissant, and the infamous mango dessert. Everything was delicious! Will definitely be back when I'm in the area!

So I had to come see what all the commotion was about I came on a Friday morning and it was actually pretty packed -- I guess a lot of people called out that day I ended up trying their banana matcha and I absolutely loved it! For my meal, I got the Chipotle Steak Benedict. It was okay... I'd probably give it a 6/10. I feel like something was missing from the dish. And of course, I couldn't leave without trying dessert I got the lemon cake and it actually tasted how lemon is supposed to taste -- super lemony, tangy, and sour in the best way possible. It was really good! And the restaurant aesthetic was very cute. I felt very welcome and the customer service was 100! I liked it. They're very creative with this little croissant cake.! but I definitely do wanna come back and try the rest of their desserts and they're in their dish of course..
First time here and definitely not the last! The spicy chicken Alfredo is hands down one of the best pastas I've had. It does have a little kick to it but if you like spicy you'll enjoy this dish(: It's a cute little cafe that offers a variety of options to choose from from breakfast, lunch and dinner items. The pastries are so delicious! Tried the mango mousse for the first time and I can't wait to be back to try all the other fruit mousses! The cheesecakes are so well made and they offer a good amount of options for flavors. The service here and at The Olive are top tier and they really take care of their customers (: I had the pleasure of being helped by Bryan who was so kind and helpful with any questions I had.
This place is super trendy. So let's see if they're pretty good eh or ew. They have a bunch of those viral pretty pastries, a robot barista?! Are family owned and operated and are super nice! I got their strawberry matcha, mango mousse dessert, mini biscoff pancakes, and chipotle steak eggs Benedict to try. For the strawberry matcha You can even print a cute picture on ur drinks so I got my boy Jerry on mine. Don't ask why he's named Jerry I didn't name him. But anyways the matcha was smooth, perfectly sweet, and had a good balance of mellow strawberry and matcha flaves. The mango mousse was so pretty and PACKED with plenty of mango flaves and real mango puree. The mousse was super airy and it had a waxy white choco coating. Texturally not really for me. They're also doing this new happy hour with crepes and mini pancakes so I got their biscoff ones and added bananas to it. The pancakes were so pillowy, fluffy, vanillay, and soft with a light crisp exterior and was generously drizzled with plenty of biscoff butter and crumbs. Pure deliciousity. This was my first time having eggs Benedict and I added avocado and turkey bacon to mine. It had a creamy savory sauce, with amazingly jammy eggs, a perfectly cooked, meaty, tender steak, and adding that earthy creamy avocado, savory bacon, with spinach, and garlic all on that soft English muffin? Was in the area for work and swung by this place to checkout their robot for making coffee and also try their crepes. I ordered the strawberry banana Nutella crepe with a Vietnamese iced coffee, which they said was one of their top sellers. The coffee was absolutely delicious, sweet but not too sweet. The crepe was also yummy, filled with fruit and just the right amount of Nutella. One of the best crepes I've had in a while. The shop is large and brightly lit with a lot of inside and outside (covered) seating. Parking is also a non issue as there is a huge parking lot thanks to the nearby cinema and shops. read more

Hey Guys this place is so cute! Bryan (manger/owener?) was super nice and helpful. He has such a cheerful spirit along with the rest of the staff. Not gonna lie y'all, the coffee was mid and my monkey bread tasted stale, maybe warmed up too hot? I'm going to give this place at least two more trys because the vibes were vibing and it's so cute in there. They had this robot hand thing there that's supposed to assist the baristas but it was just there waving at us. Idk what's that's about lol. Anyways looking forward to going back. read more

Are you kidding? This place is fantastic. The menu is creative and different from your typical coffee shop, and the customer service is exactly what you hope for - warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. They're connected to the restaurant next door (which is also very good), and even though they were somewhat busy, they still let us order our drinks for dessert through them. We really appreciated the flexibility. We tried the Dubai Chocolate Latte and the Biscoff Latte - both were delicious. They even had the cutest pink heart straws for Valentine's Day, which was such a thoughtful little touch. read more

Fast and friendly service by the cashier! The breakfast burrito was so delicious, my favorite part was the chipotle sauce in it and the grilled veggies. The pineapple pancakes were also amazing! The coffee (biscoff latte) was a little underwhelming but good. Personally don't like the cookie crumbs topping the latte because they just become soggy and don't add flavor. I'd prefer a single biscoff mini cookie on the coffee saucer but overall a great place to eat. read more

Stopped by here after a nice workout with my bestie. Saw this place was down the street from our gym so we decided to try it out. Came here on a Friday around 10am so it was extremely crowded. That's a good sign. There was a small line so we just looked over the menu since it was our first time. I ordered the Alfredo pasta and my bestie got a SW with fries. Service was good and the food as well. Good portions and a cute spot to catch up. The one thing I didn't like was that the outside seating is small and to close to others. It does get loud. Dubai Chocolate Croissant- I've never seen a Dubai chocolate croissant before and it looked absolutely magical! The presentation was stunning with all the pistachio and chocolate elements visible. I loved the pistachio crème and Nutella combination - the pistachio added this amazing nutty richness that paired perfectly with the sweet Nutella. The croissant itself was so fresh and flaky with that perfect buttery texture. This was honestly one of the best croissants I've had - you could tell it was made with such care and quality ingredients. Biscoff Latte- this was incredible! The Biscoff flavor was perfectly balanced - not too sweet but definitely present in every sip. It had that amazing cookie-like taste that made it feel like a dessert and coffee all in one. The coffee itself was smooth and the milk was perfectly steamed. Such a creative and delicious twist on a regular latte. Strawberry and Banana Crepe- this was so good! The crepe was thin and perfectly cooked with that ideal tender texture. The strawberries were fresh and sweet, and the bananas added this perfect creamy element. The combination of the two fruits together was amazing - the tartness of the strawberries balanced out the sweetness of the bananas beautifully. Everything tasted so fresh and vibrant. Eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon and Breakfast Potatoes- this was absolutely delicious! The eggs were poached perfectly with that runny yolk that just flowed out when you cut into it. My new favorite coffee spot with good food. From the outside it looks like a regular pop coffee spot. However, from the moment you walk in it is deck out in eye pleasing decor filled with sweet aroma of fresh pastries and coffee. The ambience was open and bright with like blue accent seating. The chandelier was pretty. I was not sure what to expect as i seen social videos of this place and looked more for pictures but everything i had was delicious except for maybe the strawberry matcha latte that was hella sweet. They also offer it in croissant version Chicken pesto pasta (5/5) off the menu pasta and was super yummy. Ask for chili flake for a kick and worth. It was creamy and cheesy. Gave me food coma. My favorite entree. Almond napoleon (5/5) the moment in i can smell the aroma of fresh pastries and usually i can only smell certain scents. This was flaky and the custard was light with a hint of almond. My fave pastry so far. Dubai chocolate croissant (5/5) im actually not a fan of Dubai chocolate but on a croissant, it was yummy. Typically im not a big sweet fan but this was not as sweet as all. I was told people think it was sweet but it was not. Strawberry & banana crepe (4/5) it was good but felt it was missing something. I was invited to come and try this place out. This is located a good location. There is a movie Theater. And a few more restaurants and shopping stores. The first thing I got was a coffee. I tried the Biscoff latte. It's pretty cool about this place is that they have a robot making your coffee. It started making me think about terminator. They also added a design. I added a baseball with a dodger hat. For food, we tried the Paninis. We had the short rib and the chicken Parmesan. Those were OK. I wasn't too impressed. If I would have to choose which one like more it was the short rib. The bread was good. It was just the meat was missing a taste. We also got a couple of pastries and those were delicious. This is such a cute cafe with a HUGE selection of food, drinks, and desserts!! I got the strawberry matcha latte with strawberry cold foam and I loved how you can print a photo on it. The latte was super sweet to me so I would ask for it to be less sweet next time. The turkey and Brie panini was SO GOOD. You have to get it with the breakfast potatoes as they are perfectly cooked. Surprised by this place. It's right next to the Olive and the vibe was really cool. Lots of dessert choices, had to restrain myself from ordering too much. Ample drink choices and it was really good too. They had a machine that makes coffee??? not sure but it looks so cool. This was my first time trying One Twelve Cafe, and it was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere was fantastic, creating a cozy and inviting vibe. I recently went to one twelve caffe and I suddenly walked in on rush hour. They sell pastries, dinner, lunch and drinks, the menu has variety of things. I did think to myself if I was going to receive my drink and not have to wait 20 mins for a latte but the staff were so kind to me, I ended up ordering a Cinnamon roll latte and it was chef's kiss. The latte had a great balance of coffee and sweetness, and I didn't wait for long. I would definitely return and do an online order. read more

This cafe is definitely worth coming to check out. Normally they have a robotic arm that would make latte art for you but it was broken the day I came. The drinks still ended up looking pretty and food was phenomenal. Pastries - I got a matcha chocolate croissant and a pastry with a cookie inside. They were both made well and very tasty. Wasn't overly sweet but had the right amount. (4.5/5) Spicy Chicken Alfredo - This isn't your average alfredo. Flavors were spot on and I like that it had a little kick to it. Would get again. (5/5) Florentine Benedict - A classic good benedict. Everything tasted good and it's definitely a staple. (4.5/5) Creme Brulatte - Taste almost like creme brulee and had a nice sugary layer on top. Loved it. (4.5/5) Overall, this spot hits and I would want to be back when they fix the robotic arm. Food is spot on and drinks are something worth trying. Absolutely obsessed with Onetwelvecaffe! I tried the new chicken and waffle sandwich, and it was incredible. The combination of crispy chicken, melted cheese, and a drizzle of syrup was the perfect balance of savory and sweet. I also ordered the blue matcha, which is made with blue butterfly pea tea--it was smooth, refreshing, and had a really unique flavor. I recommend pairing it with the strawberry cold foam for a little extra sweetness. The poached egg I had was cooked perfectly, and the pastries here are next level. Not only are they beautifully presented, but the flavor and variety are impressive. I highly recommend trying one of their signature Dubai chocolate pastries--the Dubai chocolate cheesecake was rich, decadent, and unforgettable. I've never been as immediately impressed walking into a café as I was at One Twelve. The space has an energy that pulls you in. While I can't speak to their coffee--I've been reluctant to try it, as the drinks look more like fast-food iced coffees than authentic café offerings--their bakery and kitchen are outstanding. If you're looking for a genuinely great meal, this is the place. Their service is great and you get your order made fast. It does get busy. They have good seating outside. Inside seating is a bit cramped. read more

Loved this cafe! I'm definitely coming back just for the Dubai chocolate croissant and the adorable latte art. Their menu had so much variety and felt like a perfect mix between a cafe/brunch spot. The portions were huge, so l had to take the rest to go. And the service was great, which made the experience even better!! read more

I can't believe I'm barely finding out about this cute cafe in Downey! The interior and aesthetics here is so cute, it's like the perfect spot to go for a brunch with some friends or a date spot. There were so many things on the menu I wanted to try, cause everything sounded so good! I've been hearing about Dubai Chocolate everywhere so when I saw Dubai Chocolate latte as a drink One Twelve Caffe has, I had to order it! I also tried the Dubai Chocolate tart, I can see what the hype is all about now with Dubai Chocolate. One Twelve Caffe is definitely a spot I would recommend! read more

ORDERS: - Biscoff Cheesecake - Dubai Fresh Fruit Tart - Dubai Chocolate Croissant - Almond Napoleon - Banana Matcha Latte - Creme Brulatte - Cardamom Chai Latte - Crispy Chicken Breakfast Bowl - Breakfast Burrito Got these goodies and they were all so yummy! I was very impressed with their pastries cause they were had a nice balance of sweetness and they were light and fluffy/airy. The Dubai series was super unique and yummy! The fruit was fresh and Dubai chocolate was authentic. The cheesecake was delicious! I was surprised how not super sweet it was. It was creamy and not heavy like other cheesecakes. Their drinks were very good too. All the flavors were there. Their matcha is freshly whisked. I really enjoyed the chai latte and the creme brulatte too. The chicken breakfast bowl was my favorite cause of their homemade hollandaise sauce!! So unique and delish. The breakfast burrito was loaded and super yummy too. Looking for your next brunch spot in Downey? One Twelve Cafe has it all-- from all-day breakfast to viral desserts that are as delicious as they are Instagram-worthy. Their portions are huge, the vibes are chill, and the staff make you feel right at home. We tried a little bit of everything: spicy chicken alfredo chicken parm pasta the crispiest French toast and super cute matcha drinks (peach, mango, and blue matcha!) Be sure to grab at least one of their desserts or pastries! I recommend the viral Dubai chocolate-covered strawberries-- they seriously live up to the hype. I visited on a Tuesday afternoon, and it was quite busy, but there were still tables available, and the line moved quickly. They serve both sweet and savory dishes. They have a wide selection of drinks and food, including coffee, matcha, refreshers, teas, pastries, breakfast, sandwiches, omelets, egg benedicts, toast, crepes, pasta, and more. The pastries and some of the other items are freshly made in-house. What's even more impressive is that they have a robot barista! They also have a festive and lively atmosphere, with decorations for special occasions like graduation right now. The staff was very attentive and provided great service. this cafe is such a nice treat in Downey! all pastries are made in house. I tried the almond croissant and the outside was crisp but the inside was soft and flaky. it was absolutely perfect. I was tempted to try the dubai chocolate croissant but didn't end up getting it since it seemed like a little too much sugar for me this time. the service is wonderful and very attentive. this cafe gets quite busy even on weekday mornings. the line stretches out of the door during their peak rushes. I brought my laptop to do work here and it is quite busy and lively so not the best place to take calls or if you need peace and quiet, but if you don't mind being around the chatter, I'd recommend taking advantage of the free wifi and the many drink options provided here. read more

I loved this place!!!! The café has a clean, modern space. The service was so great. Everyone was extremely friendly and attentive! They were so incredibly kind. The pastry selection really stood out to me. There's a hugeeee variety beyond just croissants, and everything looked well-made and thoughtfully presented. They have a Dubai chocolate cheesecake, which I tried and fell in love with. They also offer both breakfast and lunch options, so you can get pancakes or waffles, but also dishes like pasta and sandwiches. I ordered the chicken parm pasta, which was cheesy and so good. I also got the cinnamon oat latte, which was also really good, especially with the cold foam!! Overall, I'd rate it a 10/10 and would definitely recommend it if you're in LA!!! read more

Walking up to the restaurant, we were greeted by a welcoming seating area decorated in their signature turquoise colors. As soon as we stepped inside, we were immediately drawn to the beautiful pastry display and the cozy yet spacious layout. We were greeted by a friendly staff member who handed us menus. We decided to sit outside to enjoy the beautiful weather and take a few minutes to look over the options. Ordering is done inside, but the staff were very helpful and offered great recommendations. We ordered the cookie latte, which my husband described as rich in flavor, smooth, and not bitter. I had the iced coconut matcha latte, which had the perfect balance of coconut and earthy matcha--not too sweet, just the way I like it. For our entrées, my husband had the short rib Benedict. He really enjoyed the perfectly cooked eggs and the crispy, well-seasoned potatoes. His only critique was that the short rib could have been a bit softer and more tender. I ordered the green chilaquiles with scrambled eggs. The green sauce had a creamy texture with a slight spiciness and tanginess, and I loved the flavor of the roasted tomatillos. We also shared an almond croissant, which the staff kindly offered to warm up. It was perfectly flaky with a buttery flavor and a generous amount of almond paste inside. If you're in the area, I definitely recommend giving this place a try! read more

Craving a matcha latte I stopped at this place because it was on my way and it had good reviews. I'm glad I did because it was really good. I ordered an iced strawberry matcha with oatmilk. I don't think they used fresh strawberries which is better in my opinion but it was still tasty. It was sweeter than typical maybe because they use a syrup (not sure) but it was very creamy. I also tried the mango matcha which had a great mango flavor. The matcha in both was very good. The place was clean and bright. The service was excellent - friendly and helpful. I gave this place 4 stars only because I have not tried their food items but matcha and service definitely 5 stars. read more
Lovely spot! I passed by here just to try out their drinks and I was surprised how nice and welcoming their staff were. Beautiful interior, parking might be a bit challenging because it's in a plaza/mall/theater spot so there will be alot of people especially it was a weekend. I wish I stayed to try their dishes but for now I got to try their coffee and matcha. I had their cinnamon latte (triple shot) with almond milk and my sister had the matcha strawberry latte. I had to try their pistachio eclair as well! I love how strong the espresso was, and the flavor was great. Not too acidic and had a good punch. The matcha strawberry latte was refreshing, it's a great drink for people who enjoys sweet and creamy drinks. I love how they also offer to fix the drink to your liking if it didn't fit your taste. The pistachio eclair was a good too. The cream and pistachio flavor was on point. Love the size and freshness of it. The top chocolate covering was a bit too sweet for me, but I really liked the filling. I'd recommend this place and maybe I'll come back for their brunch specials! read more

First timer at One Twelve Caffe and it was an overall decent experience. The cashier, who helped us order, was super kind. The cafe was also well air conditioned considering the warm weather. The bathroom, however, was a bit messy. The trash cans were overflowing onto the floor which was a bit inconvenient. Here's a review of my order: Tuna Melt Panini: Decent sandwich, nothing special about it. Shareable. It comes with a choice of either salad or fries. My friend and I decided to split the sandwich and we asked for the fries. Again, the fries were nothing special. The prices, in my opinion, were a bit steep. For one sandwich with a side a fries, a coffee, and a can of Dr. Pepper, the order totaled $30ish before tip. The food was a bit mediocre and didn't really justify the price attached. read more

I love how aesthetically pleasing this place and the pastries, desserts are amazing! They have soo many selections. It's soo cool that you can add a design on your latte drink!
