Came in here on a whim with a large bachelorette party for lunch. They seated us within 15 minutes and promptly served us. While we were waiting for our food, they brought out fried pickles on the house to thank us for coming in. It was very sweet!! I'm not a pickle person and they were delicious!! Everyone enjoyed their meals. I got the blackened chicken sandwich (yes at a burger place) and it was the best blackened chicken sandwich I have ever had! The also brought out a plate of extra sweet potato fries for the table since several of us ordered them and some of the portions looked smaller than the others (no one complained, they just proactively brought out the extra fries with the meal). We dined in on a Friday afternoon and it wasn't busy at all and we were served quickly. The inside dining area was nice, and there is also bar top seating as well. Our group all got different burgers and salads so we tried a bit of everything. We really liked the caliburger, pulled pork, apple and pecan salad and Greek salad. We also really enjoyed the sweet potato fries that can with a cinnamon sugar topping. The salads were very big and worth the price. They were packed in and delicious. The apple pecan salad was the perfect balance of sweetness in a salad. The caliburger was also great and the avocado with the burger was delicious. I was recommended the rib eye sandwhich and I really enjoyed it! I would get it again. My wife had a burger and liked it as well. I was not impressed with the sweet potato fries flavor, they seemed obviously frozen and for a steep up charge, I'd expect fresh or at least really good tasting frozen. They were bland. On a search for restaurants I came across One Twenty Three Burger House and glad I did. We came on a Sunday evening and the parking lot was full but the side lot parking was next door. Several people were sitting on the porch area and we went right in. Indoor sitting is very spacious and we were seated right away. Our waitress was very friendly, we viewed the menu and ordered and the food came out about 10 min later. I ordered just cheeseburger and fries, my wife ordered the boss ( with jalapeño) and sweet potato fries. The burgers were cooked perfectly and very tasty. Fries were hot and salt seasoned. The food here was horrible. I ordered the fish at first, and then returned it because I could tell that it was a frozen piece of fish. The server was great, and took it back for wings. The wings smelled bad and I noticed this after one bite. The chicken wings were also a frozen and NOT fresh item. I guess that if I ate burgers, maybe this item would have been good, but I can not say. All that I can say, is do not order the fish or wings. All I can say is wow. I wish I would've tried this place sooner! I had the double burger and my wife had the ribeye sandwich. Food and the server were excellent. This restaurant is located in St. Augustine before you hit downtown. There parking lot is relatively big for the size of the restaurant. We walked in and they got a booth, so we had a seat. We looked at the menu and my kiddo already knew what he was going to get...mac and cheese. I looked over all the burger options and opted for their BBQ burger, which had onion straws, bacon, and cheese on it. My husband got the burger that had a fried egg on it. You can get their burgers in 10 oz or 13 oz portions and are priced based on the size. My kiddo loved his mac and cheese...it came out hot and he ate every last bite. I stole a few of his fries before our meal came and it was good...crispy, salty, and hot inside. My burger came and looked delicious. THe bacon was crispy, which is my favorite, the cheese was gooey, the burger wasn't too thick or too thin, and the onion straws were nice and crispy. They also have ice cream for dessert and shakes...we were all too full, but that gives us an excuse to come back. Lunch was calling and it was time for a burger. We got seated right away and waited on quickly. Since it was the only burger I had in the city, I got to say that this is the #1 spot for burgers in the area. I went out of my alley and got the pizza burger. It was topped with pepperoni, prosciutto, mozzarella, and marinara sauce. Pizza toppings on a burger may seem a little odd, but I'll tell you. It was so damn good! The flavors and cheese oozing out of each bite was paired perfectly. The side of fries was also a win. The fast and friendly service was great and it didn't feel like we were rushed out of there at all. This restaurant has its own parking lot! It is not too far from the Main Street shopping or fort. In fact, it's only two blocks down from the Lightner Museum. The FOOD was DELICIOUS!! Of course we all got burgers. The burgers were extremely high quality meat. They were cooked perfectly medium rare (which was how we asked for it). The meat was so thick and juicy. The pickles, tomatoes, and lettuce were all very fresh. We tried three different types: the classic, the bison burger, and the Riberia Street burger. All the burgers were SO PERFECT. The fries were amazing!! It was crispy, soft on the inside, none of them were burnt, and each came with such huge portions. They were pipping hot and delicious! Service was amazing.
