We got one2snacks again recently. Reminder that you should email in advance to place your order. Service: Bryan is amazing. He replies emails quickly, calls you to clarify any issues and packages all the orders with care. The dishes are made to order so that's why they need to book in advance. Walk in is hard to accommodate especially for weekend dinners. Food: Laksa - always a favorite dish. Rich and salty with great curry flavor. Can get it with yellow round noodles or vermicelli. 5/5. Wat dan hor - love the flat noodles and the wok flavor. The sauce is rich, definitely get some of the chili peppers with vinegar to cut the richness. Lots of chicken and some veges. Char gwey tui - also really great wok flavor in this dish. Good salt level, lots of flavorful toppings. Can get 2 different types of noodles or mix! Price: Always such a good price, never complain for the amount of food we get!

One HALF of the laksa. Massive portions. Not drowning in coconut milk. Perfect Malay curry+aromatics. Get it with the yellow egg noodle.

Fast forward from my last visit during the halcyon days of no COVID. This place is still thE #1 best choice for authentic Malay food. You've got to place your order in advance. It'll take forever if you don't OR they may be out of your favourite thing to order. Spouse and I shared the gigantic curry laksa with yellow noodles, and a beautiful ikan bilis on a bed of coconut infused, rich nasi lemak. Purchased a couple of pandan kuih and dodol (pandan and kelapa) - (sweets). This food transports me back to the Cape of Good Hope where I was born and which is home to a sizeable Cape Malay community who've been there for centuries. This is the ultimate food which I love to eat. Terimeh kasih, One2Snacks!

One2 Snacks and Restoran Malaysia - my 2 favourite malay food spots in the GTA. Nothing else comes close. This resto is literally like 8 seats. If you dine in, make sure you order laksa cuz it tastes way better as a dine-in item. I've voted their laksa, the best laksa in toronto and no I didn't stutter. The char kuey teow is also fantastic and has such amazing wok hay. I like that the portion sizes are absolutely gargantuan. Always feel like I'm getting maximum bang for my buck. The pad thai is ok. It's not as good as some other places. You can prolly skip trying this item if you order here. Curry puffs have really good spice but are a little on the dry side. I think that's just the way these are supposed to taste though. Out of all the desserts: kuih dadar (rolled coconut crepe) was my favourite. The other ones were either too contrasting of a sweet and salty nature or just too texturous haha. I didn't try the kuih seri durian because well ... not a fan of durian LOL. The family is some of the nicest people around. Always down for a chat when they're not busy.

It's a hole in the wall type of place... Take out only, but don't judge the book by its cover.

First off it's a take out only restaurant. The interior looks like it needs some work. Once you get past the initial appearance, you are faced with a limited menu, especially if you come on a business day l, about 8-9 items to choose from. The weekend menu has a bit more variety. The food on the other hand, is very good. We ordered lasak and kuai Diao... Both are surprisingly good. Wish they had some fried onion bits I can sprinkle on top of the lasak. We ate the food in the food court inside the plaza, and I can taste the serious wok hay from the kuai Diao. Worth coming back! 4 Star based on only the food.

I totally forgot that the last time I tried to come here (maybe about 2 years ago), I was turned away because I didn't do my research to know that they only accepted pre-orders. I came back this past Sunday.. and yet again forgot that I needed to do a pre-order!! Oh, the shame. But since we were already parked, we chanced it and went inside to ask. Luckily, the employee was very welcoming, checked with the kitchen, and agreed to take our order since they weren't too busy! We ordered Char Kway Teow, Mee Goreng, and Curry Laksa for mains, and Kuih Dadar and Kuih Seri Durian for dessert. The kitchen worked very quickly and our order was ready only after just 15 minutes. The char kway teow was very savoury and definitely had that highly desired "wok hay" taste. The mee goreng was on the sweeter and spicier side (even though I ordered it mild) but was equally tasty. The curry laksa had a nice coconut aroma but my boyfriend said it wasn't as rich as other ones he's had. Their desserts were also quite interesting and unique since it was my first time trying them. The kuih dadar was a soft pandan crepe roll stuffed with shredded coconut seeped in palm sugar - I found the coconut a bit too overwhelming/sweet so I couldn't really taste any pandan. The kuih seri durian was interesting since they paired a slightly salty sticky rice base with a sweet durian custard on top - at first, this dessert didn't smell very strong of durian but the taste was actually quite nice. As the portions here are fairly large and all of the noodle prices are under $10, I would definitely come back.. and remember to pre-order next time! I even took a picture of their menus and email as a reminder this time - one2snacks@gmail.com!!

It's an open secret amongst Toronto's Malaysian community that this hole-in-the-wall takeout joint serves some of the city's best and most authentic Malaysian food, and I was not disappointed. I got the curry laksa and the curry puffs, both of which were super tasty. The curry laksa in particular was super flavourful and filled to the brim with fish balls, tofu puffs, and chicken. Will definitely come back to try some of their other dishes. PSA: best to pre-order at least a day in advance by email at one2snacks@gmail.com.

We called around 3pm for takeout and picked up 30 minutes later on a Sunday. Sometimes when you call too late they are fully booked or run out of ingredients. The char kway teow hit the spot, like always. The Mee Goreng was good but not as good as the char kway teow. We also tried their pandan and durian dessert cakes and both were delicious!

Took me 3 years to get here. The odd hours and ordering procedure made it so inaccessible for someone who lives in downtown. As I am a fan of Malaysian food , this is one place I had to try. The prices are very good, the food for me is alright. Everything was okay but doesn't spark that much joy. Char kway teow - it doesn't have the signature brown colour I'm looking for. It's a bit dull. My order was slightly burnt. Missing some key ingredients that I like in this dish. Curry Laksa - wow it smells so fragrant. But that was it. Maybe it's because I kept it for the next day but it felt underwhelming. I might have to retry this again and eat it fresh fresh. The durian dessert was delicious. Salt forward glutinous rice. My first time having it so nothing to compare with.

Been wanting to try this for a long time and finally got the chance! We emailed on Friday for an order on Saturday but they were already fully booked on orders, so we got it for Sunday instead. Definitely recommended to email them a few days in advance! We got the following: 1. Char Kway teow - stir fried noodles with lots of wok hey (smokey) and flavour 2. Laksa with mixed noodles - I liked the different textures you get from having two types of noodles (egg and vermicelli) and the fried tofu were fresh, bouncy and absorbs all of the soup flavour 3. Mee goreng - spicy and flavourful like everything else 4. Nasi lemak with chicken curry - also very flavourful and one of the less heavy options 5. Curry puffs - must get! The mix of spices inside were so good!

I heard about this place a long time ago and it took me a while to get here. It was worth the wait! Not knowing much about Malaysian cuisine, I was glad to have Jennifer K along to do the ordering. She's been coming here for a while and has gotten to know the owners. Actually, the young man behind the counter seemed to know almost all the customers that came in while we were there. He even provided complimentary delivery to neighbouring businesses. That's great personal service! We had Char Kway Teow, a stir-fried dish of mixed noodles, and Curry Laksa, a curry based soup, also with mixed noodles. We also had samosas, filled with potatoes. Everything was absolutely delicious! The stir-fried noodles had great flavour, with a little added texture from bean sprouts. The Curry Laksa was equally enjoyable, even though the flavours were a little more subtle. It was a huge bowl of goodness! The samosas were also good but I prefer a flakier pastry shell. Space is really tight, with very close seating for eleven, leaving little space for customers placing orders and picking up. It's not a good place to be if you have claustrophobia. It is, however, a great place to get great tasting food!

They have very authentic Malaysian food and desserts. It is a very small restaurant mainly for takeout although the is space for 10 people to eat in. The Nasi Lemak and all desserts are only available on weekends. It is best to order and reserve the weekend desserts ahead of time because they will run out of them. There is quite a wait if you come and order the food in person. In our second time here (Nov 2018), we ordered the Char Kway Teow and Chee Cheong Fun with sweet sauce. Today, 2019-12-07, we managed to get 3 of the desserts (called kuih in Malaysia) and the Nasi Lemak wit Chicken Curry ($8.00). Note: They only accept cash.

The chicken rice was average, probably wouldn't order again. The menu is extensive and so much I want to try next time. Sadly the service sucked, they were so slow in giving us menu, water, taking orders. No one checked up on us, and had to flag for the bill. I would come back once more to try their other dishes.

Our server only came twice, which was when we first arrived and sat down and when we paid for the bill. She actually never came during the whole time we were there and never checked on us. Given the price range of this place, I'm surprised at the lack of and poor service. We waited quite some time before having to wave just a random waitress to come and take our order and we had to keep waving for random servers to help us fill our water and get the menu to order a dessert. We were also there to celebrate a birthday and informed the restaurant about it when we made the reservation. We were told that for birthdays, there's a complimentary dessert or if we order one, they could write "happy birthday" on the plate. After being seated, we reminded our server about this (the one who never showed up until bill time), and not only did we not receive any complimentary anything, but there was no "happy birthday" written on our dessert that we ordered and paid for. I think that is quite unacceptable given what we were told and we also reminded them upon being seated. What kind of service is this? This is pure ignorance of customers' requests and lack of follow through of their own restaurant policy about complimentary dish for birthday celebrations. In terms of food, we ordered the following: Wagyu Beef Siu Mai, Handmade Lobster Wontons, Crispy Broccoli, Crab Truffle Chawanmushi, and Black Sesame & Tofu Baked Alaska. We wanted to get the Shrimp & Scallop Toast but was told that it was not available so that was a bit disappointing too. Overall, all the food tasted pretty good and were aesthetically presentable. However, given the price point, I wouldn't say they tasted exceptionally outstanding. None of them were so special to a point that I'd feel like I must come back for that particular dish again. Overall a mediocre experience with pretty food that tasted decently palatable but with very poor (or lack of) service.

The yuzu sauce was refreshing paired well with chicken. The dish came with a side of salad which helped balance out the heaviness of the fried chicken and mochi. We also ordered their pistachio souflle pancake and it was delectable. It was light, airy and fluffy. The pistachio sauce was creamy, nutty and aromatic without being too sweet. I also liked how it came with fruits on the side. I also ordered their hojicha latte, which was one of the best ones I've had. It was smooth, creamy, and had just the right amount of tea flavor. The milk foam had the perfect velvety texture and it came with a pretty latte art. Overall, I really enjoyed the brunch they offer here. It is a pretty simple cafe, so don't expect it to be all decked out because it's not those instagramable cafes. But the food were solid and it's a great option for a small group brunch as they don't have many tables and they don't have large tables at all (the best is to 4 people or less). Our waitress took our order and then performed a total disappearing act. She never checked back in on us to see how the food was, and we literally never saw her again for the rest of our meal. The bun was lightly toasted, bacon crispy, easily taking this into my top 3 fav spots for burgers! Options for sides include fries, sweet potato fries, poutine, side Caesar or garden salad or truffle fries. We finished off our meal with 2 really good cappuccinos and just took our time before heading home. This was our first time back here in a few years. The food was exceptional as was the service and the warm staff. Draco is the perfect spot for an early morning breakfast, work or lunch date or a nice cozy dinner. They also have Christmas & New Years dinners and brunches. Relax in the restaurant with drinks or in the adjacent lounge, this is a great spot to unwind with some great food and drinks.

Was seated in their dinning hall ( the other side is more of a bar) and ordered a brunch tower for two. The tower includes their signature malaysian scrambled eggs, chorizo sausage, bacon, Brussel sprouts, toast with buttermilk pancakes stacked at top of the tower. The tower was beautifully presented and what I love most about the tower is their pancakes. Truly fluffy and light with whipped cream on top of it. Overall, service was efficient and attentive, often checked on and refilling water. On top of that, the restaurant has great decor and parking is provided in the back of the restaurant. Its considered on a slightly higher end for brunch ($20-30 range), but it was truly an amazing experience. They also have daily promos so worth checking out for dinner and late night deals.

I must say that I do understand why people are drawn to the restaurant - it is very pretty and makes for wonderful pictures! This includes the lovely visuals of the food, which is beautifully presented and extremely photogenic. The taste of the food, although quite acceptable, fell just a bit short of its looks. The variety of colours was not matched with a variety of flavours, and everything was somewhat on the salty and greasy side. That being said, we very much enjoyed the potato hash, pancakes, and French toast. The portion sizes also outdid themselves - if you're coming here for brunch, just be prepared for a long nap in the afternoon! Service was excellent: prompt, helpful, and friendly. The interior is fairly spacious and elegantly decorated. Overall, a pleasant experience even if it's not the most spectacular - and perhaps worth a visit for some based on the aesthetics alone.

She hasn't aged a day and she remembered some of my dietary concerns so that was amazing. She also offered options to the dishes which is great for a small takeout place. Ordered chow mien, general Tso chicken and a mixed tofu dish. This place is more than home cooking, it is restaurant quality dishes without a big price tag. The service is fantastic because she is nice and the food comes out quickly. Glad she has wanted to return and has the passion to share with the local community. It is worth a stop in for lunch or takeout to feed a hungry family.

The tofu is decently tender, small pieces of minced pork and a savory spicy sauce on a whole container of rice. 4.5/5. Eggplant with minced pork in spicy sauce on rice. The flavor on this is on point with a nice sweet and hint of spicy sauces. Eggplant is cooked well as is the meat. Sits on a giant bed of rice. 4/5 Rice noodles with sliced pork. The rice noodles are cooked well and the sliced pork is incredibly tender. There's bean sprouts and onions and green onions though I feel the onions may have been a tad undercooked. Still for the amount of food and flavor, it's great. 5/5. Price: Each dish came in around 6-7$ which is crazy cheap considering the amount of food you get. Don't expect any super high quality ingredients but this is your cheap and quick takeout that will fill you up.
