Stopped in here for a drink. Great service. Bartender was funny. Drink was good. Chocolate cake wasn't very good. I think it was microwaved. Do not order cake.

Customized drink! Love how the bartenders did it!!!

Great services, accommodating customized drinks. Very chill, order the food and drinks you need to go or dine in.

TVs and some holiday decorations in the bar area.

We stopped in after the Union Square tree lighting. It's inside a hotel, on the second floor. When we visited, only one side was open. It was the bar with some tables, booths, and bar seating. The staff was attentive and polite even though it was pretty busy. They have two TVs and a full bar. The food menu isn't extensive but there are enough options to meet just about any preference. We had the wings and the margarita flat bread pizza. They had four beers on tap. The hotel lobby was nice and we hung out by the fire before we headed back out into the cold. I was pleasantly surprised to find some decent food in a hotel restaurant.

We visited SF for a few days and stayed at the grand hyatt. We were intrigued with this restaurant being just one floor up from the main lobby so in true foodie fashion we had to take a visit. We loved it! This place is quiet, classy, and relaxing. The servers were quick, the food was delicious, and the drinks were amazing, We ordered the chicken quesadilla and the parmesean tater tots as appetizers and they were just enough to share with the 6 of us. We really enjoyed it and would recommend next time you're in union square!

Was here this past weekend and the bartender Jaime knows his stuff. He cares about what he serves and I appreciate that. Fantastic service! I'll definitely be coming back to visit next time I'm in SF.

Delicious bites 4 items = $21

Lunch Review only! Came here for lunch and really enjoyed the creative "bites" menu. Basically you can get 3, 4, or 5 bites for a reasonable price. Plenty of options to choose from. I got 4 bites for $21 which included the asparagus salad, double meat slider, BLT sandwich and the chocolate peanut butter dessert bar. All of the items were delicious! I really like this concept, it is great for foodies who want to try a few different things. The BLT sandwich was definitely a larger bite ....it was 1/2 a sandwich! The slider was really good too, even the salad was unique. The dessert was rich and delicious. Much better than my sisters red velvet cupcake. I tried my sisters crispy chicken and the mac n cheese with ham and they were all heavenly. Service was prompt and friendly, we ate at the lounge side of the restaurant against the glass facing Sutter street. Great window for people watching. Highly recommended this place for someone who wants a variety of food options for lunch, similar to tapas, but smaller/bite size portions!

The restaurant OneUp is located in the Hyatt near Union Square. When you enter the Hyatt, you will go see signs directing you upstairs to the restaurant. On the right side is the bar and the left side is the restaurant. My friend and I went to the restaurant and were promptly seated as it was quite empty. The ambience was expected of a nice hotel and the staff were very attentive. For such a pricey restaurant in the Hyatt, I really was expecting the food here to be of much higher quality. Yes, the presentation of the food was nice but the food itself just did not quite meet our standards. I got the crab cakes for $18 and my friend got the burger for $18 as well. Both of these items were fine but not great. I would definitely not advise anyone to pay this much for these two items. I hope the other items on the menu are tastier and more worth the money than the items we got.

Was honestly pretty disappointed by the restaurant in this hotel. Usually, when the menu is priced this high, the food should also be pretty good, but overall I didn't love my food experiences (although I didn't really try much of the menu or the buffet). One night, I came in for dessert and they ran out of the Chocolate Torte so I ordered the New York Cheesecake. Although the presentation was fantastic (with little fruits and everything), the cheesecake itself was pretty mediocre, like something out of a frozen food container you would get at a grocery store. The fruit was fresh and enhanced the bite, but it was still nothing spectacular. The next morning, I came in for breakfast and of course did not go with the buffet (which is $35) but instead went with scrambled eggs and potatoes. The eggs were not great - it felt like they needed to be cooked a little while longer. The potatoes were decent, but a little too big in size. I didn't want to waste any of the food so ate it but was probably not for the best. The hotel does give you $10 credit per night you stay so it is worth it to maybe grab an appetizer every day or save all that money and splurge on your last day/night, but it is definitely not worth to spend that much money on this restaurant, especially considering how many better places there are around the Union Square area.

We just dined here a few days ago and the food was excellent. The ambiance was great and the team went above and beyond. The location was great.

You can order drinks directly at the bar or find an open seat and have a server take your order. It took us about 10 minutes of walking around before we finally found a table. Although the service was a little slow at first because of how busy it was, once we were helped, the experience was excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome. The food is definitely on the pricier side, but it's well worth it. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the martinis were especially impressive. If you're looking for a relaxing spot with breathtaking views of the San Francisco skyline, The View Lounge is a great choice. The combination of great cocktails, tasty food, and the incredible city views makes it a place I'd happily visit again.

Servers were frequently walking around attending to all the tables. We loved everything we ate except the tuna ( we didn't like the sauce) the tuna was great we just didn't like the sauce For drinks we had the Garden Fizz, Paloma, and Lycheetini. All wonderful For food we had : charcuterie board, prawn cocktail ( HUGE prawns and my second favorite dish), ahi tuna tataki, chicken adobo tacos and the Prosciutto flatbread ( my favorite!) For dessert we shared the Ube Crème Brûlée I wanted to try the house made chips cause they looked delicious but I was too full. Definitely a great place to come and celebrate!

I liked the cardamom in the Beauty Mark as well that my partner ordered. We ordered shishito peppers and mushroom bahn mi sliders. The mushroom bahn mi sliders were amazing - the quality fillings and taste of the soft bun - I was unexpectedly hit with a bite of spice from maybe jalapeño seeds left but didn't sour my experience. The shishito peppers ended up being extremely spicy as well, those are usually just a few spicy and not the majority. The roasted lemon and salt was a wonderful combo but just too spicy to eat. However, the server very kindly removed it from our bill without us asking. We order the crostini because we were still hungry and that was an absolute hit. Delicious med-soft crostini with luscious berries and sweet honey. I didn't care my hands got sticky as it was soooo good! Great experience, I would be weary if the peppers as I'm a bit spice-intolerant but everything else was spot-on.

The view is absolutely gorgeous from indoors, with wraparound floor to ceiling windows giving you a panoramic view of the city. Setting is a lot more intimate and cozy. We ordered the roasted bone marrow and chicken caesar salad for our appetizers. Both great and pretty filling together, the portions for the salad were more than generous. We ordered the mushroom risotto and braised short rib for our main entrees. The mushroom risotto had the perfect amount of parmesan and butter, this alone was filling enough. Short rib was pretty dry, paired well with the risotto but overall we could've done without. The staff is quick to refill your drinks but the food does come out pretty slowly, highly recommend ordering everything at once so you're not waiting for your entrees. Glad to have some things to eat if drinking. You know sometimes you don't expect too much from bar food, but Here there's Better than typical bar type of food.
