    Korean fried chicken
    Robert R.

Went to their happy hour and ordered the korean fried chicken. It has the option to come with 2 tall beers, which was nice. Great price and great value! The chicken was crispy on the outside but tender and flavorful on the inside. It was so good and well seasoned. It went perfectly with soju and beer. The service and atmosphere was excellent too. I will definitely be back and would recommend this spot to others for a casual korean restaurant.

Wow I'm impressed with the service. The restaurant is very clean and spacious. The server took time to explain the cuts from the bbq set that we ordered and they don't rush you to eat the meat fast. The server cooks each cut of meat for you and waits until your finished with that cut before coming back to cook the next cut of meat. The meat was high quality and had good marveling. We orderd the set that's enough for 2 people and had unmarinated cuts of beef. The banchans were also very fresh. I think there were about 10 banchans and each one was good. I do think the soybean soup was lacking some salt, but I did enjoy everything else.

Amazing kbbq place! Food is authentic Korean and not Americanized. You can tell detail is put into each dish. We ordered the small package for 2 people and it was more than enough food. The meat quality was great and all the banchans paired perfectly with the meat. The servers were all attentive. They grill the meat for you here and all the cuts were perfectly grilled to medium. I'll definitely be back!

I love the banchan here, and I always crave the sujebi soup from here. They give a wide variety of banchan that taste fresh. The prices are on the pricier side, but there are still a lot of dishes within the $10-30 range. I was a little disappointed with the portion sizes of the short ribs for how expensive it was (which is why I haven't ordered any other dish that was over $40), but it did taste good and was plated nicely. Side note: love the aesthetics and it is very clean, and I love the smell of the soap and handcream in the bathroom lol

This was my favorite restaurant in 2025!!! If you are not rating it 5 out of 5 stars then you need to go back and order the Spicy Braised Short Ribs!!! It was $50 for a medium and enough to feed 3 hungry people. WORTH EVERY PENNY! It was soooooo delicious and tender with whole pieces of garlic, potato, radish, and dates. The carrots were also cut in cute little circles!!! BEST MEAL OF 2025!! The complimentary barley tea was amazing and the perfect start to the meal. There was also a complimentary dessert drink that was really traditional and nice! 10/10 would recommend and can't wait to come back!

It's been a while since I've been wowed by a restaurant in Seattle but this place truly knocks it out of the park. We made a last minute reservation for 6 and 2 under 2 and they were very accommodating to our babies. The restaurant was big, spacious, and clean and had all the fixings for children. In terms of food, the 6 of us shared the large combo, which was suppose to feed 3-4 adults, but it was plenty to feed 6 adults who weren't starving. Cuts of meat were generous, I particularly liked the filet as it melts in your mouth. I found the marinated short ribs were too fatty for my liking but others enjoyed it. The ban chan were great and plentiful. Oftentimes, you get ban chan that are a side thought, but all of these were delicious and carefully thought out. It also came with corn cheese, stew, and both Caesar and onion salad that perfectly complemented the meat. They also end the meal with a sweet treat. Overall, this restaurant may be a little pricey, but we all agree that it's probably the best kbbq in Seattle. Added bonus of a giant parking lot makes it a great experience for all.

Food was good. Not over the top memorable. Tastes right but not unique to the restaurant. Banchan all sour spicy dishes except for fish cake and apple salad. Quality was good. Ordered fried chicken, pork belly, beef bulgogi, seafood tofu soup. You cannot bbq yourself, you have to to watch them cook for you. Pricey. Spent $190 on 4 dishes.

Wow, this was definitely one of the best Korean bbq experiences I've had in awhile. After a very disappointing visit to Baekjeong Lynnwood, Onmi blew me away for what we had in Seattle. We ordered the small set which was definitely not small: - ONMI's Signature Prime Boneless Short Ribs · 꽃살 - Prime Ribeye · 꽃등심 - Prime New York Strip · 채끝등심 - LA Galbi · LA갈비 - Choice of Egg Soufflé or Corn Cheese · 계란찜 or 콘치즈 - Choice of Kimchi Stew or Soybean Paste Stew · 김치찌개 or 된장찌개 The quality of the meats was very good. Couldn't decide between the egg or corn cheese, so we ordered both and were glad we did. We also ordered mulnaengmyun which was probably the best version I've had in Seattle. Service was awesome although I will say that we ate early on a weeknight. Definitely worth a visit and cheaper than a flight to LA!

Located right on Aurora with plenty of parking although the entry to the plaza got kind of confusing. We were the first ones in for dinner on a weekday and they had plenty of seating. The decor was very stylish and the had the pull down vent which I had yet to experience here in Seattle. The staff was super friendly and was not only answering any questions we had, but was also conversing with us while we were getting our different cuts of meat. We got the Omni Small Package which was more than plenty for the two of us. The meat had nice marbling and was super tender after grilling it. They were flavorful and didn't need any sort of sauce as they tasted great just the way it was. The grill gave it a nice char as well. The Bossam was really good as well and we mainly got it to try and then bring home to eat at a later time and it was still just as good. The Spicy Radish complimented the dish very well. The Banchan/Appetizers (Corn Cheese and Kimchi Stew) were a bit lackluster the stew tasted a bit watered down and felt as though it were missing some thing and the Corn Cheese was a bit too sweet for my liking. Overall a really good experience.

My friend and I came here right after they officially opened. We were impressed by their all stars reviews during the soft opening and decided to give it a try. Given how popular they seemed, I made a reservation. When we showed up, I was surprised to see only one table occupied other than us. It turned out that the other party seemed to know the staff so they were not random patrons like us attracted by the reviews. The front staff also seemed happily surprised by our visit, and asked me how we found out about them. This made me assume, with good reasons, that the great reviews for their soft openings were from friends and families... The restaurant was clean and upscale, with good services. However, their meat quality was nothing over-the-top, esp. given the hefty price, although still good. In addition, our waiter grilled half of our platter for us and he overcooked it, so my friend took over and did a much better job on the remaining half... one-line review from my friend: "my home cooking of meat from Metropolitan would've turned out better than this, with one-fifth of the price tag."

Everything was so good - from the service, to the food, to the ambiance, seriously, everything! I was skeptical but after having eaten here, the quality of the food and the flavors are so impressive. The chef really know what he's doing! I really hope this place sticks around even though this location seems to have turned over a lot. You also know a place is good when you see Tom Douglas dining there at the same time ;)

We came on a Wednesday evening and were delighted to see that we were just in time to order for happy hour. We started with the seafood pancake that came with the draft makgeolli as well as a couple of happy hour cocktails. For dinner, we ordered the spicy stir-fried squid as well as the soy-marinated raw crab. We were most excited to try the crab because not that many restaurants around here serve that dish, and wow! Very comparable to the quality that is found in LA, and the portion size did not disappoint either. At the end, we received a complimentary cup of sik hye, which was so delicious and refreshing! My friend and I were both pretty full by the end of the meal, and still even had leftovers to pack with us. As for service, we received wonderful service. Our server checked in on us continuously and was overall very friendly. I look forward to coming back and trying the BBQ next time, as well as their array of soju based cocktails!

Found Onmi from Instagram and wanted to come here to dry the soy marinated raw crab. The crab was kind of disappointing. It was really salty and a tad fishy. But most other dishes were really good. We got the SOTTUKKEONG set for bbq, it definitely is more 3-4 people if you intend to order more stuff off the menu. It comes with a corn cheese or steamed egg and either a kimchi stew or soybean paste stew. We got the corn cheese and kimchi stew. Both sides were very flavored and delicious. Out of the bbq set, which had beef and pork, we preferred the pork options. The pork belly and jowl were outstanding, high quality pork. But the bulgogi and LA galbi was very average. The soy bean paste that they provide to go with the pork though, was super delicious. I suspect it is house made and so had a lot of extra flavor and goes super well with the pork. We also got a beef tartare, seafood pancake and bibim naengmyun. The beef tartare was excellent. The beef was super fresh and nicely seasoned. It went really well with the crispy. The bibim naengmyun was also delicious, the broth was very nice. Very spicy. Overall, Onmi was a very delicious Korean restaurant, but very expensive, don't order the raw crab but most of the other menu items were very good.

The food is very good and consistently so... when you can get it. The restaurant is always PAINFULLY short staffed so while the staff is very friendly, they're simply never around. We have had to cancel food orders more than once because sitting there waiting for an hour to order (literally), then waiting another hour and multiple reminders for the bill before you can close out is just untenable. We live right up the street and since the food is so good, we try over and over and over again and it always the same experience: endlessly disappointing. Sitting there for 15 minutes with empty glasses and not a bartender in sight, or waiting 20 minutes in an empty restaurant only to finally order and have the server tell you they just sold out of what you wanted is not the way to run a restaurant. I'm only giving it two stars because the food is so good, but I'm afraid we've been disappointed one too many times. Until they can either hire staff or train their current staff on how to deal with their sections, we're out.
