    small beef feast

Meet has great service and cooks the meat for you however it's not worth the price. Meet is dimly lit inside with the check in in the middle of the restaurant. There's also a unisex restroom space with 3 individual rooms and a communal hand washing space. Upon seating, you'll get a corn cheese to share. Meet is NOT AYCE but by item (wagyus) or by sets. I got the small beef feast which is recommended for 2 people (large is for 3-4 people). We got 4 different cuts of meat, some banchan, soybean stew, and soufflé egg as part of the set. The banchan are not typical at other Korean spots and were too vinegary for my liking. The stew was light in flavor and the egg was good. Meat was tender and again, cooked by staff. Overall, the Korean food here is americanized and not what you usually think of. Although staff cooks for you, it's pretty pricey. I'd rather enjoy the food and meat at other kbbq spots. There's also a included 20% gratuity so keep that in mind.

Overall: great service and vibes, decent food, pricey. Great for a date night spot. The atmosphere and service here were definitely the highlight of the experience. The servers cook the meat for you, which is definitely welcomed especially when having a few glasses of soju with your dinner. We got the signature feast for the 2 of us, as well as the steak tartare. The amount of food was okay, but definitely on the pricier side. Yhe meat quality was decent, but nothing super outstanding. I would skip the yukhoe, it wasnt bad but I wouldn't get it again. The one at Daeho has a lot more flavor to it. My one real complaint was that ALL of the banchan were pickled items. And this is coming from someone who loves pickles and sour things. I was craving some fishcake, bean sprouts, spinach, potato... ANYTHING that was more umami/savory. As a kbbq and banchan lover, I was disappointment by the assortment. Honestly, the overall experience was good and I'd recommend coming here once, but I'm not sure it's worth more than that. I don't mind spending more money on a nice meal, I just don't think the value is really here.

Dropped by the other day and was shocked by how nice this place is! This was my first time experiencing KBBQ where they cook for you! Totally blown away by the service and attention to detail. They never burnt or overcooked my meat, it was perfectly medium rare every single time. The meat doesn't need any sauces either, just a touch of salt and it goes a long way. Huge shout to out our waiter, Andre & Larry. They took care of our table and were really fun to talk to! They made sure to time the cooking and brought in our banchans so we never ran out. The interior of this place is super cool, its low light ambiance with undertones of purple is kind of romantic hahah. Totally bring your partners here... for the good food ofc Overall I had a great time! I'd come again~

The meat was higher quality but it's small portions. What is this a kbbq for ants? I have been to korea so it's unfair to compare to their cheaper and better quality meats but I could go to Baekjeong in Lynnwood and feed 2 people quite heartily for around 100 bucks. I don't think the slightly better quality makes up for the 100 dollars. The service was nice and the ambiance ismore of an intimate vibe which is a suitable for a date night. I don't think it's worth coming here personally.

When you step in the vibe is very chill. We came here for our office Christmas party. Everything was so flavorful and fresh. Not your typical Korean BBQ as they have a cook at your table cooking the meat for you. Our cook Jessie was so informative and answered all our questions. We all left happy with full belly's.

Offers a great dining experience with a stylish interior, friendly service, and high-quality meats. We ordered the marinated bone-in short ribs, pork belly kimchi fried rice, and the zabuton. Everything was cooked well and paired nicely with their wide variety of banchan, which added a lot of flavor and balance to the meal. Overall, it's a solid spot for Korean BBQ--great food, great service, and a place we'd definitely return to.

I've heard a lot about this place, and figured I would try it for their Seattle Restaurant Week menu. We made a reservation ahead of time and were promptly seated at a large table. It was a three course set menu with different types of meat, and they had the banchan already set up at the table. There were a few items, but none stood out that much. We also got the steamed egg and doenjang jjigae which I actually really liked. Onto the meat - the portions were quite small but they all did taste pretty good. I liked the pork belly and the more premium beef options a lot. They cook it all for you so you don't even have to do any work. Overall, this is definitely a more boujee kbbq experience and not the traditional one you might be used to. I think it's a good experience once but I probably wouldn't be back.

Zabuton add-on to the pork feast

Came here late on Halloween and it was surprisingly empty, which was good for us because of the craziness outside. Ordered the pork feast but the cuts were not enjoyable, way too much fat and the pork belly just turned tough so quickly. Very glad we added on beef Zabuton because it is worth the $65 compared to rest of the meat. The marinated pork bulgogi was the next best thing even though it was a but pasty. Bar was already closed when we arrived (odd, since we made a reservation and had the last time slot) so we weren't able to try drinks except for soda, and getting even that was like pulling teeth with our server. We left feeling the $300 tab wasn't worth it. If we try here again we'll skip the pork and stick to the higher end beef choices.

This place is so good that I went back twice within a week. Everyones knows that Korean BBQ is good but there are the type that is just average that you can't tell one restaurant from the other and there are the ones that stand out from the rest and this is of the latter. I normally prefer Suwon style kalbi because they are more tender and has a sweet undertone. Although this is not Suwon style but it's still delicious. I highly highly recommend the marinated beef short ribs and prefer it over any thing else. They do have a lot of combo choices and if it's your first time trying Korean BBQ then order a combo. But if you know Korean BBQ then I'd highly recommend the marinated kalbi because they are tender juicy and absolutely phenomenal. It's so good that I'd rate them as good as top 3 in the Bay Area. The pork belly is also good but beef is better in this case. Service is very good. It's mostly young guys cooking for you which is different from many family style Korean restaurants where ajuma cook but it's more high-class and modern I guess? I'd totally put this a must go restaurant in Seattle if you like meat. If you are vegetarian don't bother. Place itself is also nicer inside than you'd expect from the building itself. Overall one of the best restaurants in Seattle or maybe even in the US for Korean BBQ fans.

Located on a street corner, we were welcomed and quickly taken to our table. The inside was nicely decorated with sharp and modern edges. For a group of 3, we ordered both the beef feast and pork feast. This location cooks your meat for you, which was a bit different than my usual experiences. The beef was nicely cooked and tender, but the portion was still quite small. The pork feast was really disappointing in flavor, and I honestly can't recommend it and would suggest ordering something else. The side dishes they served were also mediocre. The servers were nice and attentive though, and answered questions we had, as well as assisted us very quickly! However, for the price of this location, I can't say it offers anything unique (aside from high quality cuts of beef) for its dining experience to justify the price.

    Ribeye and banchan

My wife and I came here for Valentine's Day, and it was possibly the most disappointing kbbq experience I've had. We got the valentines menu, which included a ribeye, wagyu, and galbi along with the full spread of banchan, soup, soufflé egg, and kimchi fried rice. The menu was $149 per person with a 20% mandatory service charge, totaling $400 after tax. There were issues each step of the way. Part of the reason there is a mandatory 20% service charge is because they cook all the meat for you. This apparently should not be a selling point... The ribeye was overcooked, probably in part due to the waitress starting the meat, then a different waiter switching in to flip the meat and later cut the meat, and finally the original waitress flipping the cuts and taking it off the grill to be eaten. The wagyu was the possibly the worst. The marbling was not deserving of the price in the first place, but they were also horribly under cooked. You expect wagyu to melt in your mouth, but these filled your mouth with an overabundance of oil, followed up with a chewy, gristly center. We travel to Japan multiple times a year to visit family and have never had such poorly cooked yet expensive Wagyu. The last meat was galbi, and again was overcooked and gristly. Not much to talk about here. To top off this incredibly disappointing experience, we had to box our own leftovers to go, for a $400 meal. I cannot in good faith recommend Meet.

The service was amazing. Very kind and made sure everything was cooked to our liking. They take an automatic 20% gratuity, and it is well deserved. The waiters are cooking the meat and also bring extra side dishes whenever you run low. The meat was also very good. We got the finest feast. My only complaint was that it was a little fatty. The side dishes imo were average compared to other Korean restaurants. The kimchi was a little too fermented. They do offer free cabbage on the side to make wraps. The ssamjang was very good too! For two people, they give lots of food and very good quality. The ambience is nice. High-end pocha ambience, and they play modern music. Loved the lighting they had.

Great service and ambiance. As soon as I walked in, the entry and vibe reminded me of Antoya in NYC. Our visit to Antoya was because it was visited by BTS. The personable waiter at Meet told us that Stray Kids recently dined at Meet!! The food was fresh, delicious, and generous. Loved the comp egg soufflé (light but not eggy) and Stew. The selection of banchan was awesome. For the 4 of us, we ordered 2 Beef Feast and one side of Kurobuta Pork. Each feast came with a bowl of rice. The servers rotate harmoniously through the restaurant to check on the grill. We couldn't leave without meeting the owner to compliment him on this awesome restaurant. Authentic in Seattle!

You know it's good when you pull up the establishment and they have not only a long line, but also a paper dictating what is sold out, which they update on a 10-15 minute interval. Waiting in line is the most time consuming part of this experience, as we probably waited 20-30 minutes to get to the front to place our order - which is good sign! You can definitely formulate what meats and sides you want as you get closer to the front. Parking for the restaurant is a bit difficult, I think the only options we found while visiting was streetside, and we were fortunate to find a spot only a block away. I could totally see it being impossible to find parking when it gets really busy in the area. Once you get your food, there is plenty of seating, from high tops, to booths, to tables, to outdoor seating with a fire pit. We got a good variety of items, which I'll review a couple down below: Brisket: A good brisket with a nice visible smoke ring. Similar to the pork belly, you can tell the skill of a barbecue restaurant from how their brisket is, and this brisket is delicious! Really meaty and pleasant smoke flavor. I think we did get a leaner cut of brisket as there wasn't as much fat to help with the leanness. Beef Cheek: A delicious cut of meat that melts in the mouth, and has a pleasant smokey flavor. Out of the three cuts of meat, this one was unfortunately salted the heaviest. The first couple of bites are delicious and really delicious, but it goes really overwhelming the more you eat it. If you order this, definitely get some sides to help. Pomegrante Pork Belly: A solid BBQ pork belly that has a pleasing fatty crust with a meaty interior. This is what I would consider a good baseline for a reputable barbecue restaurant. It is advertised as pomegrante pork belly, but I unfortunately wasn't able to taste any flavor of pomengrate - maybe a tiny bit in the glaze/bark but that could just be attributed to the sugar. Mac and Cheese: A pretty comforting side! bechamel sauce is really creamy and fully coats each noodle. The noodles were at the sweet spot of soft and having enough integrity to hold their shape. Cherry and Rhubarb Cobbler: Wow, this is an amazing dessert! I haven't had a cobbler where they added cardamom to the crust before, and I think it works spectacularly. The cardamom gives a nice floral taste to the crust, which is complemented by the tart and fruity filling. I think this is one of the better if not best desserts I've had a barbecue shop, and the small tweaks made were creative and delicious! In the end, I think we paid about $100 for everything you see here. Having been to a couple of BBQ places, I would say that it is pretty standard pricing. Good BBQ does take a lot of effort and it does come at a premium. Outsider BBQ is absolutely delicious - if you are looking to get some comforting food, they definitely have you covered. I would totally revisit to try their items that got sold out (missed the beef cheeks, need to try those!) the time we visited!

Servers were always checking up on us and refilling our drinks. Restaurant is inside the Asian Grocery market but the restaurant itself looks very modern. I gave it a 4 stars because I wish the appetizers and hot/ cold food bar is better. The selections are nice but tastes mid. If they can make it taste better then would rate it 5 stars.

It's an all-you-can-eat with a coal grill, and you get 90 minutes once you're seated, so come hungry and ready to order. The staff was excellent super friendly, helpful, and quick with taking orders, clearing dishes, and swapping out the grill without us ever having to ask. For just $5 more, the premium menu is 100% worth it especially for the wagyu. Everything we tried was delicious, but our favorites were the wagyu cubes and the lollipop lamb chops. On top of that, they offer a salad bar, fruit/dessert, and a sauce station to round out the meal. The atmosphere was another highlight: modern, clean, and comfortable, which made the experience even better. The only downside is the time limit, but honestly, 90 minutes was plenty for us to enjoy everything. Overall, we loved our visit and will definitely be coming back!

One day, lightning struck a tree, causing a massive forest fire that killed many animals. Our ancestors then discovered that cooked meat tasted much better than raw meat. This is why roast meat has always been regarded as an important part of the human diet. Today I gathered with friends and chose this barbecue restaurant. It's located north of Redmond, with a prominent sign and plenty of parking. Ambiance: The decor is creative, but it feels quite contradictory. Barbecue is inherently a very "Jianghu" (lively, rough-and-tumble) kind of thing, yet the restaurant leans toward an artistic, literary style. When I used to run my own restaurant, I followed a principle: avoid anything unrelated to the core dining experience. Seeing many books on the shelves here, I understand they're trying to bridge Jianghu and artistry -- but it clearly feels out of place. That said, the place is very clean, and the stickers/decorations are festive. Service: My high rating for this restaurant is largely based on the service. After we sat down, we were given free appetizers -- braised peanuts, which tasted great. The staff training is very professional, whether it's taking orders, making recommendations, attending to us during the meal, or checking on tables and refilling water. All excellent. Taste: Jianghu-style cuisine is characterized by boldness, satisfaction, and not sweating the small details. We ordered spicy hot pot (Malatang), spicy hot pot skewers, grilled beef, lamb, chicken gizzards, oysters, and many other items. First, the Malatang and spicy skewers tasted almost identical, so it felt like eating the same thing. The grilled skewers were just average -- neither good nor bad. The oysters were very tasty. However, the shrimp in the spicy skewers were very unfresh, which was disappointing. "By the way, the prices at 'Friendship Skewers' are anything but friendly -- I think it's quite overpriced overall."

While it's not the best BBQ, it gets the job done with great service and prices especially when you're craving it and in the neighborhood. I had the lipstick sandwich, which I got with beef brisket, and also comes with coleslaw, dill pickle, and mustard BBQ as toppings. The meat was tasty, and the toppings were well balanced. The bread was pretty standard as well. What really impressed me was the cornbread. It hit the perfect cornbread notes to my preferences - really rich, buttery, almost melt-in-your-mouth texture with prominent butter-corn notes. Seriously one of the best cornbreads I've had in my life! And such a great value at the way its priced, like the rest of the menu. Definitely check it out, if anything grab a piece of their cornbread.

They have a few seatings but not much and it can get cramped. Foodwise: Brisket sandwich: pretty good, the brisket was soft and flavorful. It's simple but satisfying Pork ribs salad: pork had barely meat on it, it wasn't tender and kinda bland, you definitely need the sauce. The salad was a bit much in terms of dressing. I wish they had the dressing on the side so I can put as much as I want. They were nice and gave us 3 ribs though instead of 2. Chili: came with chips. Pretty standard nothing special. Overall, it's a pretty average place. The service was good though. The people are super nice and price is good as well.
