Well here's my experience with this company. I give 5-Stars because these guys really helped me out in purchasing my motorcycle. So here's my experience. I first came to these guys back in like very late August, very early September 2025. I saw they had a couple of Indian Motorcycles I was very interested. One was a 2022 Indian Bobber in the incredibly gorgeous matte black and a 2024 Indian Chief. At this time, I was recovering from serious financial dept and trying to get my credit back in shape. I met up with Josh and he was a really cool guy to deal with and wasnt pushy like some places. He let me take my time and he didn't give me any of those annoying calls, texts or emails you'd get from a car dealership. He let me do things at my own pace without any hassles. Fast forward to early February 2026 and Onyx had already sold those two Indian Motorcycles I really wanted. Lord behold, they had gotten in a very beautiful 2018 Indian Bobber with only 446 miles on the clock. I literally went to see this bike like three or four times before I'd go to work. I asked Josh about numbers for this bike and we both agreed and I ended up buying it. So Josh, thank soo much and enjoy the pics I sent you of what's been done to the bike. I highly recommend Onyx Motors for anyone looking to get a bike. They have a pretty good size showroom of new and used bikes. They'll even buy your bike or trade your bike in for something else. I would give zero stars if I could. Bought a motorcycle here that (as I eventually found out) was recalled years earlier. This bike had something like 20 miles on it so it was almost like new. Seeing as the bike was 5 years old they should have at least taken care to make sure there was a battery in it that worked. When they dropped it off, the bike stopped working within a week. The manager gave me grief but finally paid for the new battery. What happened next was a nightmare. Basically, because of this very well known (not to me....) recall. The engine blew after 600 miles. This is something every dealership knew about (from what I was told). I was completely shocked. I had to buy a new engine and I did on e-bay. Do your homework and check all recalls. This shop WILL NOT TELL YOU if there's an active recall on a bike. I learned the hard way. By their super defensive answer to my questions about the engine, I'm positive that they knew this was going to happen. About half the bikes produced in that year lost their engines. Personally, this is the worst experience I ever had. I tell everyone I know never to go there. I know hundreds of riders in LA and everyone is well aware of what happened to me. Of course, me thinking they knew all along is completely alleged. read more

Fantastic experience. I've literally been looking for a black and red Suzuki 2016 GSX-R 1000 Commemorative Edition for 6 years. The only one I've seen in 6 years was in Pennsylvania, & it sold in one day. Found this beauty at Onyx and worked with the finance manager, Josh, to negotiate pricing & pick up. I wire transferred cash and literally bought it, sight unseen. Shocked when I got down there to pick it up. With the exception of one leaking fork seal, it was literally in perfect condition. Leaking fork seals have got to be expected on bike that's almost 10 years old. Had my local motorcycle mechanic replace both fork seals two days later for a paltry sum, and had a pipe put on and a servo buddy installed (these bikes come with a flap in the exhaust that creates a little back pressure at low RPM's for better low end response.) Absolutely bitchin' ride. Their inspection of every bike that rolls through their shop is legitimate. Fresh oil, fresh brake fluid, re-torque of all critical fasteners, ETC... Over priced clap out bikes customer service is horrible my experience with Errol was horrible. Even the employees at cycle gear warns folks about Onyx overpriced bikes and there sneaky antics when it comes to financing slipping in added mark ups.It happened to me had to correct the finance personnel on additional mark ups my son was there watch it take place he warned me to not buy my first used bike from them when in the past I always purchased new bikes. Beware to anyone dealing with Onyx Moto. I Purchased a BMW from them with 18k miles and made sure to ask if they had completed or had record of service being completed, which they assured me it was and that they will provide the paperwork. The paperwork was never provided. They helped me out on a master cylinder being faulty and once again asked for the 18k service paperwork, not provided. After about 500 miles into purchase i got an oil change completed and found an entire shim on the magnetic oil plug. Asked a third time for paperwork and never got back to me. Thousands of miles later within 4-5 months of purchase as i daily the bike, i got to BMW Motorrad to get chain service completed. Only to have them tell me this bike sounds like it's about to explode and i had them check it out. Where the informed me that the 18k service was either not done at all or very poorly. I told them the dealership i bought from told me it was, where they then asked me if it was Onyx Moto, without me telling them or hinting at it. Stating that they had a few bikes come in with the same problem. I confront Onyx Moto about and told them i seriously need the paperwork as I'm facing a $5000 bill. They said that they dont actually have the paperwork and that that would reach out to the original owner to find out that information. First major red flag. After a week of my bike sitting in Motorrad, they tell me some shop named KNV Motorsports completed the service. Which when i called them they said they only did the valves back in 2021 but never asked me for a vin number or any other identifying information on the bike. Second red flag. Bmw proceeds to tell me all my shims and valves are way overdue and have some aftermarket "Hot cam" shims and now my timing and cam chains are stretched and need replacement. Onyx the entire time saying that they do not have any responsibility over the issue as they claimed the valves were done, although done incorrectly, still done. The entire time i was asking for them to at most cover half the cost or even a third. Understanding that they have a business to run. They saw that they had no responsibility for this issue even though they lied about completing the service and such. They never got ANY paperwork from KNV that the service was ever done just word of mouth. They sent me a settlement check of a disrespectful $255 and made me sign a paper contract saying i cant sue them. Claiming that this is just how the used bike market is. $5000 of credit card debt later and now i know not to do any business with them. Mind you i had gone to every event they held prior to this incident and sent people to them to buy bikes, but no longer. read more

This place definitely is not what I was expecting and I have mixed feelings about it. Customer Service - The salesman/manager Kenny was a nice guy and seemed very respectful Pricing - while I do get businesses need to make money, they should try to do that by the sale of the motorcycle and not these hidden fees. The online price you see you can expect at least $7-800 added to it. Disappointing and a waste of time. The part that seemed a little sketch was when I was asking technical questions about the "inspection" and "reconditioning" he couldn't really answer my questions. Also if they supposedly are replacing all fluids and tuning the bike etc I find it very hard to believe you wouldn't replace those nasty rusty corroded spark plugs that literally cost $5. It makes you wonder if they're even performing the reconditioning services they're charging $500 for.... Anyway I ended up buying a bike at another location. Hope my review helps you find your bike.
