I do like the option of book an appointment online compared to walking in sometimes you could be waiting a very long time for something and you have other things to do for the day. This way if I have my appointment I know what now I'm going to be there I know when I'm going to be gone I know when I could enjoy the rest of my day. So definitely check them out I do like they see you right away as long as you're not super packed or super busy times depending on the day. Worst nail salon. I got a gel manicure and my nails started chipping the next day. They refuse to give me a refund. They are way too quick and don't take their time with you for the amount of money they charge. They feel like just because they are located in Clovis they can charge these prices which is insane! read more

They have plenty of room for many clients at the same time. They do all pedis and manicure. We got in and checked in right away they sat my daughter down to start her full set of nails. This is our first time here. The lady at the counter is friendly. The nails came up great. My daughter loved them. She just mention that they sand too much in one of her nails that kind of hurt. The nail polish was cute but she wished the lady would of asked her if she liked it like that. Because she wanted more blue on the tips. But overall was a great experience. I got my toes done and they chipped off a couple days later the lady that fixed my nails when I came in kept questioning me and talking to her friends to see if I came in she then tried to pull it up on her phone to see if I came in here. I'm a regulate here and my mom comes in all the time needless to say they probably won't see me here again her name is Serena I don't know why she question me then she proceeded to try to pull it up on the cameras if I came me and my mom are regulars here we have been coming here for years, but this will be my last time coming and I'm gonna tell my mom the same too. Came here because it was close and 100% regret it. I needed a lip wax & brow wax but I really didn't want to take the chances with my brows so I figured, the lip is simple. Let's see how she does and then maybe I'll get my brows. The girl took me in, didn't wash/sanitize anything. I laid down, she used the same stick to glob wax messily above my lips. Put the paper & just ripped it off. That was it. There was no alcohol wipe prior Or after she just wiped it with a dry cotton swab so afterwards I had lint stuck to my upper lip. No tweezing, no cleaning it up, I don't even think she looked at the upper lip or strips. Obviously at this point it was a heck no to her touching my eyebrows. I'm just stunned/ I know it's an $8 service but.... Do it the proper way. Do not come here for any waxing please. read more

I have been coming here for 15 years. It has had its ups and downs over that time (I took a several year break after it changed management years ago). But, it is back to being my regular place. I've always gotten my eyebrows done and it's $20. They always consistently ask how they look and if it needs any adjustments or changes. I'm not sure the name of the woman who does my eyebrows, but she always is pleasant to talk to and has a great vibe. read more

Fastest fill-pedi I've ever had!!! The nail tech skipped multiple steps,disregarded me telling him my nails were "lifting"... instead of cutting them,he put super glue on them! I've been getting my nails done for over 15yrs,I have NEVER had a nail tech out super glue on my lifting acrylic. My pedi was amazing and they look cute(I normally file my own toes before getting a pedi-I'm very particular with my toes) I asked could they do a very simple nail design,the response I got was "I dnt know how to do nail designs." I do not recommend Ooh La La Nails. I've been a few times now & had a fine experience ONCE, with one nail tech, but overall service is bad & they are rude to customers. After today I will not be returning. Ryan literally bullied me the whole appointment. He was rough and extremely rude to me the entire time. I couldn't wait to be done and leave. Also prices are never what you expect them to be, and photos/color choices don't seem to matter- you're lucky if they do what you want. (And they don't seem to care.) HORRIBLE PLACE!! Brought my 10yr old daughter to remove her acrylics. We just had them done for the first time for the holidays for fun. The awful lady jammed a spatula in between her nail and the acrylic nail and pried it off. I told her to stop, my daughter was crying. I provided a picture of what I wanted and did not get that. I wanted a natural look and got purple nails instead. I paid $60 for uneven nails. They were also different sizes. This was my second time and last time at this nail salon. Both times, I got a pedicure- first time great experience - second time, not great at all. My nail technician was a man named Brandon. I'm not sure if he specializes in pedicures, but from my experience, he was not professional. The reason for this review is that he wasn't paying attention when handling the foot dremel. I don't even know what he was doing, maybe unplugging the machine? As he was leaning forward, the dremel tool still on and in hand cut my leg. I was talking to my friend beside me. I then looked back at what he was doing, and i tried to move my leg. When I saw that he was getting close, it was too late. He quickly grabbed my leg and was apologizing. He didn't ask if I wanted the service to continue, but I never said anything either. The second thing that went wrong was on me. I should have gotten up and left, but I sat there and let him continue the service. He preceded to put oil on my leg and where he had just cut into my skin and finished my pedicure. The guy should have stopped and ended the service and the manager should have been notified. I still paid and left with a soon to be scar on my leg. I hope and pray you don't let this happen to you. I was even debating writing this. But every time I look at my leg, I am reminded about how that happened. read more

I wish there was a "Don't go here" button. I went in for a new gel full-set and a pedicure. I always go to VIP Nails in Clovis but this one was near my workplace and just really needed to fix my nails for the holidays. Mia "did" my nails and they came out horrendous! I kept getting pushed into an option I had never mentioned because they didn't want to do what I was asking for. The end result looked...just bad......and when I went back two days later to fix them Mia was extremely rude, STILL pushy, and extremely careless. I always strive to be a nice person to others and not say anything....but this was unacceptable in every way. My nails came out horrible! Each finger had a different shape, the nail polish was sloppy, and as I politely walked out of there a lady said, "Omg!" in a very rude way. I am going back tomorrow and expect a refund. Go to VIP nails! They are very nice and actually aim to give you what you want. read more

I specifically went in there because they had a good price for kids manicures, when I got there their pricing was $5 more than they were online. When I showed the owner that their prices were different she took my phone from me to take a picture and told me that I had to pay the more expensive price ($18 instead of the $13 on their website). This is a pretty pricey nail salon. The first couple of times I came here, it seemed worth the price, but today was a bit of a dud. My toenails were left uneven and the paraffin wax that came with my deluxe pedicure was basically not applied to one half of my entire right foot (see attached photo). In general, what was done on one leg was not evenly done to the other. Also, the massage was just so not enjoyable. It's as if the people who work here have themselves never received a massage. The employee today was basically loosely gliding her gloved hand up and down my leg. After asking for increased pressure, she then started digging her fingernails into my legs and pressing my muscles in the most awkward way. It just was not the relaxing experience I was hoping for. I'm usually a big fan of dipping my nails, they have a pretty good color selection. This time I tried the gel builder. It feels as hard as the dip but looks so much cleaner. I came to have a quick toe polish change and was treated like royalty. I had a bad experience here years ago so have not been back. Since then they have changed ownership and have very helpful people. Cindy the manager gave me a nice neck massage while I had my toes done with Jenny. Marvin stated he specialized in pink and whites and he guaranteed we would not have to pay if the were not perfect. Give them a try they really seem to have turn this place around. This was my first time coming here and to be honest, I was on the fence by some of the yelp reviews I saw but I decided to give it a chance. I walked in and although it was busy, I only waited about 5 minutes! Chin did my pedicure and she was fantastic!! The colors to choose from for the gel polish was awesome! I really loved that the chairs reclined all the way back and I truly got to relax. Chin was quick and did awesome work. I will definitely be back to work with her.
