They sent two very professional gentlemen who were on time. I had them clean a large sectional sofa and love seat, also the upstairs game room and stairs. Many stains and a couple spots of gum were imbedded in the carpet. They got all that out as well as the pet smell from the sofa. The only thing keeping them from five stars was the price. I felt it was a bit much at 499.00 I was given a much lower estimate over the phone for the sofa but Im in a time crunch so i gave the ok. This company sounds very reputable. They advertise on the radio and seem to be doing great things. Well that's not the case. I called them for a quote to get a sofa and chair cleaned. I got the price and everything was fine. I informed them I live on the 3rd floor and that they will need to park close to be able to reach. I let them know that the apartments clean the carpets with the same type machine and that they should be able to reach. The lady told me that they would see when they get there. Ok cool no problem. Well then the man arrived, he seemed to be very reluctant to even look at the apartments location. He came up stairs and was like "yea it's far". Uhhh ok I told him they come clean the carpets and he should be able to reach. He looked at the couch and said "it's not bad I could just sell you the solution and you can clean it yourself". I'm like uhhh NO. If I wanted to do it myself I wouldn't have called a company to do it for me. Well he said he was going to use a lazor measurer and see if he could reach. He later came back up and told me that it was about 300 feet and he couldn't do it. At this point I'm ready for him to leave and I'll get someone else to do it. I called STANLEY STEAMER and they came within 2 hours no excuses no complaints. They were AWSOME and they also offered to clean other items at a discount. I only needed those two items cleaned but if I needed something else, I wouldn't have hesitated due to the great customer service I received from them. OOPS seems to have an EGO problem in my opinion and customers come SECOND! I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. read more

Upsell! The guy walked in and started poking a little stick thing into the carpet to test for cat urine. He complained about the smell. He managed to get it to go off in one spot, where a litter box normally sits. Now, we do have cats, and 3 litter boxes, so there's going to be some smell. But it's not bad - it just isn't. We try to stay on top of keeping the boxes clean, and do a pretty good job. He then tried to triple the price by selling us "enzyme neutralizer that will kill the bacteria that are feeding off of it". We agreed to the $60 upcharge for the one room where the magic stick beeped. He said that he would have to treat all 4 rooms, as "they don't want me breathing it". "If I don't do this, it will stink to high heaven". We thanked him for his time, and let him leave. It felt like a total scam. Quote like $30 a room, then if you see a cat triple it to $90. I don't know if this is standard practice for the industry, but it ticked me right off. I'm going to the grocery store, and renting one of the machines - probably won't be as good, but I'm not spending 375 bucks for this. read more

Ooops is right. I called the wrong people. I heard them advertised on 950, saying they were upfront and honest about their prices with no surprises. Ooops! Not true. Synthetic area rug to clean cost me double the quote when the service man got there. When I asked why so much, he responded with "Ma'am, you know that carpet was bad." Then told me I needed all these different hocus-pocus treatments if I wanted to save it. Honestly, I could have saved myself the embarrassment and just bought a new area rug. By the end of the cleaning, which he said he couldn't guarantee, I could have spent a little more and bought a NEW area rug. Or....could have bought a nice steam cleaner for what I spent on the service. 3 days later, the rug is still hanging to dry. I scheduled a later window because of my work hours. He called 2 hours early to see if I could somehow accommodate his schedule since he was in my area. He still came early and I had to send my husband home to meet him since I was still at work. All of the above happened over the phone with me while my husband sat with him. I never saw him face to face and paid over the phone. A person in the cleaning industry has no business telling someone they are such a bad housekeeper that they need to pay extra. No. Not ever again. I have never written a review on a service. This is my first and only, that is how bad I feel about it. I feel like I spent way too much for 20 minutes of cleaning for the results to be undetermined. Heard about these guys through the radio. I called and scheduling was a breeze. The rep answered all of my questions. The crew arrived exactly as scheduled. They quoted me for 3 rooms plus full room pet stain treatments. (We have small dogs.) They knicked our black bedroom furniture, so that was annoying. The guy could have been more careful. They were done in a hour and told me it would take 7 hours to dry. Left the house and came back 8 hours later to find most of the carpet had dried already. The next day, the house smelled great and carpet looked good. The second day...most of the stains resurfaced. Even the "simple" tea and mud stains. Seriously?!! I called immediately. Told them what I was seeing... They told me I had a 30 day warranty because that sometimes happens and they would be happy to come out again for free and do spot treatments on those resurfaced stains. Fine, but now I have to move around my furniture AGAIN so they can come back, AGAIN. Oh, and the pet treatment discolored some parts of my carpet..looks like they were bleached. Scheduling was a breeze. Was quoted some where between $225-250 over the phone and when the tech showed up the price went to $500. All they did was walk around with a black light and poke my carpet. No measuring and they didn't even show me where the stains were. What really got me was that while I'm talking to the main guy his 'helper' just groaned and grunted. Sad thing about the whole deal was that I was prepared to pay 500-600 if the lady on the phone had fully explained the whole process. I was told that 4 rooms simple cleaning would be $150. The tech then tried to up sale. I reduced to 3 rooms, with one being pet treated for $20 extra ,and the quote went to $220. I removed one of the largest rooms, how does that make sense. Then I decided to just keep the original deal of 4 rooms for $150. He said he could not in good conscience clean the rooms without the extra treatments, which were not asked for or brought up by me. He refused to do the work requested and expected. We were going to have 3 rooms cleaned for the $110 special price. I was told the only thing that would increase the price was the room size or bio hazard. When they arrived to clean the carpet they had a tool that supposedly was able to detect pet urine on the carpet. The treatment price for bio hazard was an additional $60 per room. This bio hazard treatment was not optional, they would not do a basic cleaning without the extra cost of $180. So, if you have pets just know that there is an extra $60 per room charge. We opted not to pay the extra cost and sent them on their way. read more

I seriously regret giving this place my business. The office staff was pleasant but not well informed and didn't give me all of the information on their way of pricing and cleaning a house when I made my appointment. I moved my furniture around myself ahead of time. The technician was to arrive between 8-10AM and I was the first stop for them. He called at 8 and found out I lived in a trailer park then I never heard back from him again. I told him that I was needing to leave by 9:30 and they pulled up at 9:40 with no 30 min call ahead. Once he got there he was rude to me and told me they would do the 6 foot hallway for $10 extra and when I wrote him a check so I could leave he told me he had to clear the check before I could leave. I waited 15 more minutes before coming back in the house while my toddlers waited in the car. They then told me the check didn't clear and would try again. I was running very late by this point so grabbed cash from my vacation fund and handed it to them and left. When I came home, the three tiny rooms they did do still had gooey, watery junk and food still squished into the carpet. My mother who referred me told me they have NEVER cleared a check when they did her home. It was clear that because I lived in a mobile home I must be unworthy of a call ahead, good service, or paying with a check.. When I spoke to the manager he was a complete a**hole and basically said all I'll do is come clean up the spots we missed. No apology or acting like he even gave a rat's a**. Still upset over the service received from Oops Steam. The foot board of the brand new bed had a chip of wood missing and the dresser had a few small dents in it. Unlike the radio advertisement on KTRH 740, Oops Steam was not reliable or professional. The owner never spoke with me no matter how many times I tried to speak with him. I made all of the phone calls; he never returned any of my calls as promised by the receptionist. Another person came to my home to discuss the damage. Of course I did not have any proof. I was not in the room at the time it was cleaned. I cannot say Oops did a better job than any other company I've used in the past. In fact, the guy cleaning the carpet offered to clean my rugs for cash money on the side. Hmm, I wonder if the owner of Oops saw any of that money. I do not recommend Oops. Terrible job. Carpeting had slight pet odor and technician said "no problem it will come out". He spent a total of 45 minutes to treat and clean a 2200 sq ft 4 bedroom house. it took about 36 hours to dry and the smell kept getting worse. Called and talked to a manager and he was very defensive about my complaint. He offered to send the technician back to clean it again. I. told him that it smelled so bad after the cleaning that we had to replace the carpeting. He said "too bad" and refused to refund the cost of the cleaning ( it was over $500.). Needless to say I will tell everyone I know about how badly I was treated. As a side note, I always pay for services like this with a CC. Contact your bank about back-charging. read more

They cleaned the upholstery on a sofa, love seat and 2 chairs. They were very nice and considerate of my home and asked for towels to keep moisture off of the floor. I pointed out that the chairs needed to be cleaned extra well on the top where people touched them to move them. After they were done, I pointed out the top of the chairs again and he said they got them good and it was darker because it was still damp. They did a great job on the sofa and loveseat, but the chairs still had shadows at the top. I touched them up with Woolite foam and they came clean. Nice guys, adequate job. read more

Two guys arrived towards the end of the time-window and walked the carpet with their "urine sniffer" and gave us a price that was almost double the phone (Top) quote. We protested, called the main office, and were told the techs on the ground had final call regarding price. We protested that we were given a "Top Price" and these guys were charging almost double! No go - neither the Office or guys would budge. I even offered to split the difference, twice.. No go.. So - WE (POLITELY) SENT THESE TURKEYS AWAY. I called Oops! Steam Cleaning on the recommendation of Michael Berry, 950AM, and 740AM. They advertise that they will remove stains and get rid of pet odors. I have an adorable little cavapoo that prefers my 10x8 office rug over the backyard grass, so this company seemed like a perfect solution. They charged me $120 for about a 5-10 minute service. I entered my home office (where the rug is located) after they left and immediately smelled urine. Noticing how wet the rug still was, I lifted up a corner to see if my hardwood floor were getting wet as well. Of course, it was. Gladly, I checked and removed the rug from the room so as not to damage my expensive flooring. As I moved the rug, I saw several pet (urine) stains on the underneath side. No wonder the office reeked! Essentially, all they did was wet my rug. Not only were they quite expensive, they did not do what they charged me $120 to do. We have called to complain and were told a manager would be out on Friday to address the issue. So that's how I'm spending 4 hours of my Friday. When I called, all the company rep would say was that they would bring to attn of crew so that they could do better job next time. I was never offered re-check and refund was refused. I wish I could leave zero stars! After taking the day off to have Oops come and clean my mother's carpet the first thing they did was use a meter to determine if there was urine in the carpet, which they said was everywhere. The carpet is four years old, and there has never been a pet in the house. I'm 100% sure of that fact. JR, the technician was belligerent and argumentative saying that it was my mother's house and how could I really know. Their meter is never wrong, and he wanted to charge me $250 for pet urine treatment. Thankfully Marvin, the other technician, said he could clean the carpet for an additional charge for stainguard. So, I had him clean the carpet and they charged me $160 for two rooms and 8 feet of hall way. JR stormed out and stayed in the truck. (I would have refused their service, but didn't want to have to take another day off work.) When I called and talked to Chelsey, she said the same thing - "I don't know your mother, but our meter in never wrong." It is insane. I know without a doubt that there has never been a pet in that house. Marvin was very nice, and has amazing people skills, but didn't move any furniture, just swept the steam cleaner around everything. I had to mop up the excess water on the adjacent tile floors. The grouting on my tile in the kitchen and bathroom was awful. I thought no one could get it clean . Well, Josh from Oops came to our rescue and I just cannot believe how great the tile looks now. Just like when we bought our house in 2000. Josh was very professional, on time, and the job was reasonably priced. Josh also cleaned some of our rugs as well, while he was here. The operator was on time and pleasant and for these reasons I have given the job two stars. The result of the cleaning was unsatisfactory. I was told that if spots/dirty areas showed up after drying, it was because I'd used carpet cleaning products..unusual claim for a company who uses carpet cleaning products daily. Upon drying the carpet in every area was very little cleaner than when te job started. When I cleaned a few of these dirty areas the dirt came up. Maybe their machine wasn't working well or their fluid was bad. After reading the glowing reports on this site, I assume I was either unlucky or the owner has a lot of friends. No, I didn't call them to come back. The price was cheap, quite a bit less than I normally pay, and I suspect that I "got what I paid for." read more

I was totally over charged! $400 to cean about 2000 square foot. After being quoted "special" of $130 for 4 rooms and $30 each additional. Carpet was wet for over 24 hours as if they just dumped water on it. Charged me $70 for stain protector and then sprayed about 3 oz of something from a small spray bottle. read more

When they arrived they did find some stains and we agreed to remove them. $350 later the stains are still there, even though they came back the following Saturday to try to remove them. We got better results from the carpet cleaner we rent at the local store for $35. I do admit they were on time and courteous but I expected better results. read more

We had Oops steam cleaning out to our house on 10/24/2015 to clean our tile and grout and one closet. We used their service last year and was satisfied with the result. This time was a complete nightmare. The crew showed up at 10:15a tracking dirt everywhere they went walking and dragging around their hoses. They missed complete sections of tile, left dirty grout and standing puddles of water on the tile that dried bright white. The closet carpet was left soaked and just short of flooded. The crew left our house at 11:00a; that's 45 mins to walk the area, give us a quote and complete all the "work!" Sound right to you? I called the GM and was told they could reschedule to repeat the service and wanted to send the same crew that had just been there. Umm, no thanks, I want a different crew and today or my carpet will be molding in my closet by next week. The GM did not respond back for 2 hours after talking on the phone with him so we finally called him to see what the plan was. He didn't have one, made no apologies and seemed fine with us being dissatisfied. I told him that wasn't acceptable and I want someone out today. He called back after about 15 minutes and with a heavy sigh he said that someone (miraculously) had cancelled just now and he would be out in about an hour. The GM mind you is running one of the weekend crews? Seems odd. Anyway, the GM after showing up made no apologies and talked to us like we were the problem (maybe our expectations should've been lower). He then "re-cleaned" everything and sucked most of the excess water out of our closet. Problem is, he left just as big a mess as the crew before and they STILL did a half-assed job and missed a ton of spots and left residue all over our cabinets and adjacent wood floors. I understand mistakes and problem employees but this is coming from the GM. We have been back and forth with them and have found no resolution, we are not allowing them back in our house and all we asked was that they not cash the check we gave them. They chose to cash the check on an incomplete, poor job with customer complaints that I had to pay someone else to come in and clean up behind them. THAT is the level of integrity you are dealing with at Oops Steam. If you choose to use them; the Oops is on you my friend. read more
