Spicy Pork Triangle and Spicy Ahi Tuna Triangle
    Mariam J.

We ordered the spicy pork triangle and spicy tuna triangle and it was delicious. The pork was well seasoned and perfectly cooked as was the spicy tuna. No complaints other than it was a little bit pricey for the size (~$5 each). Delicious spot but for the price I probably will not return

Stopped by this spot as we know it's always good food at a good price. This time didn't disappoint. We ordered a small plate with short ribs, and two 3-item plates. We also got two triangles. Everything was tasty, good portions, and quick service. Can't go wrong here!

My coworkers and I ordered from here via DoorDash for the first time and the food was amazing! The delivery was relatively quick. You get a looooot of food, I think my 3 item plate was around $20. I will definitely order from them again!

Stopped in again to try their Grilled Salmon, Buldak Spicy Chicken, and Spicy Pork triangles. These did not disappoint. The chicken and pork were definitely spicy and had a lingering kick. Grilled salmon had teriyaki sauce drizzled lightly inside the triangle pocket.

We should start with the fact that the onigiri here are pretty good. Of the three that I had, the pork one was excellent, the grilled salmon one was pretty good, and the kimchi one left something to be desired. This place is really geared towards takeout orders. They have a little shelf that you can eat at, but it is not at a very comfortable height, and there is no place to sit. Would it kill them to put in a couple of chairs? So if you're taking it to go I would recommend it, but if you are looking to eat in, not so much.

Great place for a quick and casual meal. You order at a kiosk and we got the 3 protein plate with Ahi Tuna, Buldak Chicken (the favorite), and Grilled Salmon (a tad dry). Overall solid.

    Short rib and teriyaki chicken

Was in the area shopping and saw this spot on google maps. What brought me where was the basic menu and the decent price point for each onigiri. My friend and I each had the short rib and chicken teriyaki onigiri. Chicken teriyaki onigiri: chicken had a good grill flavor. It was mildly drizzled with teriyaki sauce. It was easy to eat. Not too messy. Chicken was a tad dry but was ok. Short rib onirigi: Flavor was ok. Meat was medium tenderness. It wasn't a wow, but I would get it again. Minimal service, which is ok. Order at the kiosk. Food comes in a take out box.

These sushi triangles are delicious. It's great if you want something quick while your shopping around Rockridge. If you buy 3 or more you get free edamame. You walk in and order from a kiosk, then a few minutes later, your order is ready. All orders are served in a to-go box. We stayed and ate our meal on the bar near the window. They have a small bar w/ tap water, utensils, condiments and a variety of hot sauces. I ordered the salmon teriyaki, spicy shrimp and tofu. All were very tasty. Except the salmon was a bit overcooked and dry. They tofu didn't have much flavor, but the spicy shrimp was my favorite. Would definitely come back again. They also have a location on Solano Ave in Albany.

Chicken Teriyaki, Short Rib Triangle and Edamame

Fast, fresh and delicious. The short in triangle was excellent. The meat was in small flavorful bits and seasoned with a great teriyaki sauce. Chicken teriyaki was very good as well. Strips of firm chicken with an excellent teriyaki sauce. Plenty of seating. Parking is always a challenge in this area. Overall, a winner!!

Love Oori Triangles! Their rice triangles are always delicious, though a bit pricey and I might be a messy eater but they fall apart just a little bit when eating. I prefer the rice plates over the rice triangles - you get so much more and it tastes just as good. My favorite is the short rib but the grilled salmon is a good choice too.

Great place! Love these rice triangles. A bit pricey though for each little triangle. Better as a snack than a real meal.

Came here with a friend Monday night after 10pm. Love that it's open late night (until midnight)…read moreand love the vibe of this space... you walk in and it's pretty decent sized - there are booths surrounding this restaurant; it's nice to have a private space to yourselves. Movie posters are splattered on the walls decorated with vinyl records and the like. Overall, such a cute hole in the wall late night spot. For the record, I eat mostly pescatarian/vegetarian diet. So their menu isn't really catered to that so much minus a couple things here and there, but I managed to order the tofu bibimbap (and a couple bottles of soju). My friend ordered french fries and spicy korean fried chicken. The server that took our order was so kind, thank you for being attentive :) Wasn't able to catch their name, but we really appreciated the service. Overall, food was delicious and we left feeling full. Also the place is super vibey!

What was once a late-night staple has unfortunately become a fading memory. The issue with Porno…read morebar is its inconsistency. Every time I visited over the years, there seems to be an entirely new rotation of staff, yet they all share the same customer service issues. The workers look like they don't want to be there (I get it, it's work), and that disinterest shows a bit more than it should, draining the energy from the room. The food mirrors this inconsistency. We frequently stick to what we consider safe items like the porno fries, spicy fried chicken, and spicy rice cake. However, during our last visit, we decided to try the seafood pancake, the Bulgogi burger, and our usual corn cheese. Somehow, all three dishes were a disappointment. The seafood pancake was dense and doughy, while the Bulgogi burger was a bit of a soggy mess. Even the corn cheese, the coveted item that used to keep us coming back, missed the mark. It was pooling oil that left a greasy mouthfeel. While the ambiance remains nice, the kitchen simply underperforms on too many of its dishes now. With all of the new Korean restaurants and pochas popping up in the area, there are far better options available. Sadly, nostalgia isn't enough to justify coming back when the food and service continue to slip.

A sign on the restaurant also reminds diners of this risk. Saw two nearly naked men sunning and lieing on the pavement while driving around looking for parking. Try to park on busy and visible Telegraph vs a side street. PCTH has a modern vibe with very solid wood tables and benches. The restaurant gets noisy even when half full near the end of a Friday lunch hour. We ordered two of the lunch specials and an Appetizer of Soy and Garlic Fried Chicken (1/2 order of 10 pieces composed of wings and drums). The chicken was very good with a nice crispy exterior and coating of S&G. The two lunch specials - Mushroom Beef Soon Tofu Soup and Spicy Pork Box Lunch were not spicy as what we're used to, a medium on the soup - get spicy if you want more flavor, while Spicy Pork was more sweet than spicy. But still good for their version of spicy pork. The soup also comes with a whole pot of crisped rice for soup dipping / soaking. A nice addition. As for Banchan, nothing spectacular that wowed us. Pyeong Chang is another nice addition to the competitive Korean restaurant area in Oakland's Temescal region, just not the safest of area when it comes to parking your car. A friend saw the restaurant on YT so be weary of media hype and make your own judgment. There are many good Korean restaurants in the area and this just happens to be one of the newer hipper ones.
