    Poke bowl
    Jennifer L.

Atmosphere: 5 Came by as a pit stop on our road trip. The restaurant isn't big, but there's a few tables and bar seating available. I love that the food came out super fast. My husband and I built a poke bowl and there was a separate paper menu where you could circle your options which makes ordering so much easier. The order was processed quickly, and in less than 10 minutes, we got our food! Portions: 5 The portioning was just right. There was a ton of fish (I ordered tuna and salmon) and the portioning of the other ingredients was just right. I didn't feel like the dressing was too much. I felt like they were generous in allowing the number of choices within each category. So you can really create a poke bowl with a variety of different things in it. Flavors: 5 The fish was fresh and there were so many ways to customize the poke bowl, you really can't go wrong! With all the options, I felt like there were a ton of different textures in the poke bowl. Everything balances out and is super refreshing over a bed of mixed greens. Overall, I'd go there again for the poke bowl. Quick, easy, and refreshing!

Pretty decent, satisfying poké bowl. Fish was relatively fresh. They have many different options for the custom poké bowl including less common options like shrimp tempura or tomago. Everything was good but the crab salad could be better. Could be softer and less dry.

chicken teriyaki bento and poke bowl

We stopped by on our road trip and I was pleasantly surprised to find this cozy pan-Asian restaurant. I was happy with the selection of options for the poke bowls especially since toppings like avocado and tamago usually have added charges at other poke places I've been to. The only thing I regret is choosing eel sauce because I feel like it was quite salty for the amount they put in my poke bowl. My husband thought the chicken teriyaki bento box was fairly standard but the chicken was surprisingly tender. The food came out quickly which was a plus. Extra points for the guys prepping sushi and other ingredients at the counter, that's always fun to watch.

    California Roll, Avocado Roll

Really disappointing. California roll (pictured below) was made poorly, rice didn't even cover half of the outside portion. Also ordered a poke bowl with salmon and tuna. The tuna tastes like it's been in the fridge for the longest time, really soggy and bland. $13.97 for a poke bowl- way too over priced for the small portion they gave us. Also the sushi makers were talking loudly among them selves while making sushi, spitting all over the ingredients. Don't recommend anyone coming.

I've been here multiple times and my favorite thing about it is their lunch specials! It is pretty inexpensive, and I've never had a bad meal from them. My go-to is usually the sushi which satisfies my cravings and is typically good quality. Their hot, cooked food is good too, although some dishes could use a little more flavor. As for the service it is usually a hit or miss, I usually call in and pick up my order and the woman at the cash register sometimes motions to me rudely and it gets confusing. Although they do have a parking lot, it's in a very busy intersection so sometimes it is difficult to get out but it's manageable. Overall, I like to come here whenever I want good sushi but don't want to spend too much and it is worth a try.

Cucumber roll, asparagus roll and sweet potato tempura roll. So good!

I'm glad I placed my order online ahead of time because it was pretty busy when I arrived for pickup. Overall, I'd say this place is decent, but not one of my favorites. Here's what we ordered: - Beef Mei Fun - I actually meant to order the Beef Chow Fun, but it turned out to be a happy accident. I was worried the mei fun would be dry and bland, but it had good flavor, and my kids really enjoyed it. - Beef with String Beans - I was expecting more of a dry stir-fry, but it came in a brown sauce instead. It just wasn't my preference. - Bean Curd with Garlic Sauce - I wasn't sure what to expect since there wasn't much of a description on the menu. It also came in a brown sauce, and I honestly couldn't taste much garlic, so the name was a little misleading. - Plain Chicken Wings - Definitely the standout of the meal. Crispy, flavorful, and something I'd order again. - BBQ Ribs - They were okay. Nothing particularly memorable, but not bad either. Overall, the food was solid, and the pickup process was smooth despite how busy they were. While I don't think this will become my go-to Chinese spot in Stamford, there were a few dishes that made the visit worthwhile.

General tso Chicken & shrimp broccoli are good, although the sauce taste slightly different but still very close to what you find in traditional Chinese restaurant 20 years ago. Food are fresh and very nice people. Spacious with restroom, good place to go as an alternate choice to Indian restaurant next door. Both are my favorite now.

Service: Parking: Ambiance: Food: Menu: Value: Great--$$ with huge portions The menu is cleverly divided into thirds: New York-style Chinese food, Traditional Chinese food, and Japanese dishes (including an authentic sushi chef). The food was fantastic--fresh, flavorful, and plentiful. Portions were so large we had to take a ton home, which means another full meal tomorrow. Food was so-so and I think it's because of what I ordered that left me underwhelmed. It was a party of four. One ordered a speciality roll a salad and the spare rub appetizer. The salad is a green salad with ginger dressing. Standard fine. I tried one of the ribs it was fine meaty a little bland compared to others I've had. My appetizer was the yellowtail with jalapeño. - I didn't care for it. My entree was the whole crispy fish. I was looking forward to it my friend said her husband had it and loved. It came out and I was disappointed. I don't recall it saying on the menu that a sauce covered it. I wouldn't have ordered it or requested it on the side. It was a thick sweet sauce so parts of the skin took on a shellac texture. The inside flesh itself was bland so the dipping in the sauce helped but again underwhelming. Even if I had wanted it with sauce it was way to much sauce for the dish. The others in my party enjoyed their entrees I tried the Moo shoo pork which was decent. The tempura was fried perfectly not oily
