First timer! Tried their hot vanilla latte and really enjoyed it. The young lady who served us was friendly. Lots of seating to choose from.

My stylist is in the building and I was super early for my appointment so I stopped in to check the spot out. Grabbed a banana matcha drink and an avocado toast. Both were okay. They had cold pressed juice as well. So I'd go back and try something else if I was ever early again.

Santa has come and gone. He's back snuggling with Mrs C. Spent the day running errands and buying more stuff for someone who may not be named. And close to my bedtime, my babe mentions a shindig in downtown Big D. So why not. No work tomorrow. Very trendy spot on Bothan Jean. Black Eye is a great blend with a nice caffeine kick. If you are in the dessert mind, go Key Lime. They need some parking but other than that, fun evening spot.

My Friday 12/20/24 I had the breakfast sandwich, recommended by the staff. It was good, and i wanted a slice of the merry berry pie that i shared with my work bestie. The crust was tasty and flaky in my opinion. Delicious. I came here to have a little caffeine and Christmas spirit. The ambiance, they have an artsy Christmas tree decorated with ornaments designed by OBC patrons. I took pictures and videos, I thought this was very cheerful.

Checked this coffee shop today and really liked the vibes. It's spacious inside and also has a stage for live music. It looks like they regularly have local music acts swing by, so I would be interested to come back for a show because the coffee shop + music vibes = my favorite. :) I got the Texas Maple Pecan drip coffee and it was pretty tasty - not overly sweet with the maple and not too overpowering with the pecan flavor. There's a couple of other drip coffee options in addition to your standard coffee shop options (lattes, cappuccinos, chai lattes, etc.). Overall I enjoyed my visit to Opening Bell.

Greeting cards and t-shirts for sale.

I really enjoyed this hidden (hidden!) gem of a coffee shop in downtown Dallas. Parking was a bit hard to find - I ended up in a metered space on the street. This place is in the basement of a residential building. I walked through an underground passage to find the shop tucked away in a corner behind a gym, art space and next to a bodega. Even though the coffee house is underground, it was brightened by some street-level windows. The space was cozy and cluttered. I had a cafe au lait and a cinnamon roll and enjoyed the artsy vibe.

I found street parking and wondered around the building complex and enjoyed the different things like stock certs, different posters and random art throughout the place. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, quiet on a sunday. Its a very okay cup of coffee, with their balanced sweetness with the 1833 syrup. The coffee felt more watery then I would like. Came out to be around the $7 mark for an iced oatmilk latte with vanilla. Unsure if i would ever go back, they do serve an espresso milkshake type deal that did get my attention.

I love this place and the coffee so much

I work in the building where this coffee shop is and I and my coworkers go at least once a week! We are like family with the staff. They're very nice, and always make our drinks and food with love and care!! Please make sure if you ever stop in, try the Carmel & Mocha Cooler! It's the best

It shouldn't take over 30 minutes to get coffee when there's only two customers in the whole place. When I finally got my coffees it was wrong and I'm not gonna lie, I've had a better latte from McDonald's..

Great to know where you can find someone who can make a Cafe Americano and have outrageously good muffins.

In fact, the reason I moved into Southside on Lamar was largely because I got to know the people at Opening Bell.

I visited The Bomb Factory to attend the World Of Dance competition and it was. Nice time. There…read morewere thousands of dancers swarming the place, but there was still room to not feel completely crowded. Although they offered seating down low, it was constantly rotating on availability depending on the performers. If I wanted to find a seat, I could have. I mostly stood near the bar which wasn't too crowded since it was an all ages event. After standing there for about 2 hours, they did ask us to move to the end of the bar for potential customers .. there never really were more than 3 people ordering at a time, but we still moved. We got tall boy White Claws and it was the perfect sipper drink. The lighting and sound was good for the experience here and they had plenty of vantage points (including a VIP upper floor). Security wasn't bad, I didn't bring a bag, so I breezed through. There's a large parking structure right behind the TBF, so walking over was very easy too. We did initially have handicap people in our group who opted not to attend after we shared that the surrounding sidewalks were not very level and that the amount of people might be a little tricky for navigating with a walker. All in all though, I had a great time here!

Ubers pick you right up in front of the doors so that's nice. I think this is the cleaner concert venue in Dallas. The bar and bartender are all very nice and do a great job. It's was definitely packed but we were able to get our drinks quick. This is a great general admission venue!

Think I heard it holds about 400 people. There's a bar in the back, and a bar to the side of the stage, so it was pretty easy to get a drink at all times (important!). I can't really comment about the sound because the Buzzcocks played LOUD, but I enjoyed it, even when I went deaf. The opening band wasn't really my cup of tea, so we all went out to the patio. A huge patio at that. It was fun looking at the Dallas skyline and watching the hoochie mama's below going to the Pittpull concert. Hello silicone, but I digress. I didn't really mind paying $4.50 for weak cocktails, or $4 for Shiner, even when it was poured in a plastic cup. The bathroom attendant was so unnecessary, though. Is she always there? There are only two bathroom sinks, and we were at a punk show ferfucksake. Any who. I felt the venue was solid for what it does, and the fact that I was able to get so close to punk legends sealed the deal.

Rubbing Elbows One…read moreof the best reason to go see a live band is the ability to feel the music coming out of their mouths and instruments. That can only be accomplished by being up close and personal. The loft is so much more intimate than the Palladium below. The bartenders can get busy, especially between sets, but don't worry they'll get to you. Between sets take a breather on their awesome balcony. Take some pics with your friend/significant other with the Dallas skyline. With all these positive marks you would expect a 5 star review. Sadly, the band line up is pretty limited. My favorite recurring band are the Spazmatics. I wish they could take a cue from Granada's rotation. Still, if your favorite band comes, it's a no brainer! Band with a view
