    BLINKER DELUXE

The BLINKER DELUXE... I was recommended to try this sandwich by a client and decided to try it today. This sandwich is amazing! Absolutely delicious. Definitely will be returning to get another sandwich & try their coffee. The staff members were very nice. Thank you!

The place is super cute and cozy. It's everything you'd expect from a coffee shop and more. Staff are funny and delightful. They made our food/drinks quickly and sent us on our way. The blinker deluxe is to die for. Perfect proportions and the prosciutto is a delicious addition to the cheesy, fluffy egg. English muffin is evenly toasted and ties the entire sandwich together. Definitely breakfast road-trip material. 10/10. Will be frequenting this place! Thanks Murray Street Coffee Shop!

Great ambiance, small spot with great coffee and chaga! Comfortable seating. Got a bit of work done and really enjoyed the plants in thrift store unique vessels!

My previous review here is from 5+ years ago and considering the times we are currently experiencing an update is in order. While many coffee shops have come to the Deep Ellum area and left, Murray Street Coffee Shop continues to hold its own. That said, the arrival of Covid-19 has caused many businesses to close their doors. I am thankful the owners here were able to adapt during the 'shelter-at-home' orders and once things reopened they developed a model that seems to be working for them. To align with the reopening orders in the area; they closed the inside to customers. For now, the entry way into the shop is blocked off with a couple of tables; mask wearing customers can step into the doorway (one at a time), place their order and pay, all contact free. When your order is ready, they will bring it to the table to be picked up once they have moved away; again, contact free. Instead of indoor seating they are taking advantage of the sidewalk tables/chairs they already had prior to Covid-19 (plus they have added a few more) which creates an outdoor café feel where people sit and enjoy their beverages (physically distanced of course). In addition to being my favorite coffee shop in the Deep Ellum area it was the first coffee shop I visited when I moved to the area 7+ years ago so I look forward to returning to the days of being able to lounge in the shop again while sipping my coffee. Until that time returns, I will continue to stop by, grab a cup of java and keep it moving. Thanks for hanging in there Murray Street Coffee Shop.

My sister recommended I try this place and it's walking distance from my house, it did not disappoint. I came in and got the Blinker Deluxe sandwich which was fire it. It was an excellent choice if this is your first time here and enjoy breakfast sandwiches. I was indecisive on whether I should get a drink or not because I didn't want a coffee at the moment. I got an iced exotic tea, strawberry hibiscus flavor (might have spelled that wrong). I added some sugar free vanilla sweetener, it also comes unsweetened if that's your thing. I picked the ice Exoctic Tea and Sam gave the recommendation it was really good. Overall I would say the blinker Deluxe was a 5/5 as far breakfast sandwiches go. Then the drink was a 4/5 to me. I also loved the overall aesthetic and vibe of the place it looks like a cool place to have a nice coffee date or catch up with friends. The vibes and ambiance is there as well as playing good music. The service was a 10/10 and everything tasted fresh. I will definitely be back to try some of their coffee.

    Chagaccino

They have the chagaccino here and it is my absolute favorite drink. Service was also super friendly and the cafe is on the corner of Murray street (hence the name!) the only reason this lost a star for me was my cappuccino was only 3/4th the way full. For a 7 dollar drink I would expect the cup to be filled!

Murray's has a very "this is someone's uncle's house" vibe. It's cozy, and quaint. Full of art but isn't overly styled or fussy. There are amble power strips and seating. The barista chit-chat feels genuine and unforced. Got a man iced chai latte and it was decent. Hard to rate on an iced chai though. I'll be back for coffee and update the review then. Would return if I needed a quick cozy spot to work from.

Exactly what you'd want in a coffee shop! **I will say it's a smaller space, don't be surprised if you can't get a seat! But if you can, it's amazing. Super chill environment, cozy, makes you feel calm and focused. Good vibes!! I got the Blinker deluxe and it was delicious. I also got an iced oat milk latte and it was also fabulous. I will say it can be a *little* pricey but that's fine for me, to be expected for deep ellum. The staff were very nice and bring you your food upstairs so you don't have to leave your stuff. Overall a great choice to study or chill!!

Murray Street is always a must have when I'm in Dallas! One of my favorite breakfast sandwiches and great vibes and seating areas.

Super cool coffee shop. Great coffee. Relaxing vibe. Dogs welcomes. Outdoor, indoor, and upstairs seating. Great staff.

A la Paris outdoor dining only at this time...

Top tier coffee shop in Deep Ellum. The breakfast sandwich was fantastic and the prosciutto is toasted perfectly. The coffee is also superb!

The only thing more superior than their latte is a blinker deluxe. Come on kolache day for an extra bonus to an already amazing experience!

I remember the gourmet Eatzi's phenomenon when the chain had a Houston location, which has been closed for almost 20 years. Although I've read Eatzi's may in fact return to Houston, I'll believe it when I see it. What I've always liked about Eatzi's is the high quality and variety of cuisine on offer. For some reason, this time I settled on hummus, but also saw lots of other cool choices, including sushi. Bread is baked in-house and lots of people seem to like the made to order sandwiches and prepared foods. Service here was really good, although I was a bit put off by the long line wrapped around the inside of the store. However, I was able to walk right past it to an easy checkout. Parking here, in my opinion, was easy. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit to this Eatzi's location in Dallas, and also hope Eatzi's returns to Houston one of these days.

I rarely leave reviews , in fact, this may be my first one, but this experience was so negative…read morethat I feel compelled to share it. I ordered two sandwiches through the DoorDash app for pickup. The app clearly stated that the sandwiches came with chips and potato salad, which is why I chose that option instead of ordering a different special. When I arrived at the restaurant, I still had to wait in line before reaching the cashier. When I finally got to the counter, she handed me my sandwiches and then told me that I had ordered chips and potato salad but had not paid for them. I calmly explained that the app showed those items as included with the sandwich. Instead of resolving the situation professionally, she told me she needed to call the owner. She then had me step aside while she helped three other customers, leaving me waiting awkwardly off to the side. When the owner finally called her back, she spoke to him loudly (almost argumentatively) about me being there and "claiming" the sandwiches came with chips and potato salad. It was embarrassing because other customers could clearly hear what was happening. Ultimately, I was told the owner said the sandwiches did not come with those sides. At that point, I just took my sandwiches and left. The entire situation felt uncomfortable and unnecessary. If there was a mix-up with the app, that isn't the customer's fault. Good customer service would have been to honor what was displayed in the app and clarify the issue internally afterward. Instead, I left feeling frustrated and embarrassed. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had.
