I got three new phones and added my personal phone to the plan, for which I received a payoff from T-Mobile. Leo has a very calm and confident temperament which can be extremely useful when you are going through switching hell and getting all the steps taken care of. Pro tip - call and ask him to give you a list of every type of documentation you'll need to bring in before you transition. Keep in mind, you can't get payout on the spot for your phone - you have to cancel it with current provider, get quote off your CURRENT BILL. Once it's verified to verify off, T-Mobile can give you payout - have Leo explain this to you if it's confusing. Anyways, if I could, I'd give him a huge raise. También habla español. Thanks Leo!

He was told that he could be be part of the promotion, because it was not initiated on the same day. Frustrated with the Santa Cruz office, our 4th member drove to the Redwood City T mobile office and resolved the issue.

Where do I begin…read more.. We had an activation issue with a new phone that ended up deactivating both my phone and my daughter's. We were completely dead in the water. We went to the AT&T store at Sequoia Station for help. When we walked in, there were 4-5 employees standing near the door talking. After an awkward silence, someone finally asked what was going on. Felt like we were interrupting them. I explained the situation, and without even looking at the phones, one employee immediately said, "It takes two days before anything can be done." No troubleshooting, no attempt to help, just a quick dismissal. As an IT manager, that response was extremely frustrating. We weren't expecting miracles, just effort and basic troubleshooting. None was offered. I would be embarrassed as to the support in that establishment as a manager As i could not believe it was that bad, we left and drove to the Belmont AT&T store, which we had used in the past, just a bit farther. The difference was night and day. A gentleman greeted us immediately, listened carefully, took all three phones and said, this is a simple fix. In less than 10 minutes, all phones were working again and my daughter's new phone was properly activated and ported with the correct number. That is what real customer service looks like. I will never return to the Sequoia Station location and have already told daughter same and pas to your friends to avoid it. If something truly can't be fixed, that's understandable, but this clearly could have been resolved with the right skills and willingness to help.

This process…read moreis usually time-consuming and a bit nerve-wracking, but the associate who helped us--Chris, I believe--made it an excellent experience. From helping us choose the right phones to finding a plan that truly suited our needs, he was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. Shoutout to Javier as well! If you're ever looking for assistance, those are the guys to ask for. I highly recommend this location and will definitely be coming back for all our future phone needs.

This review deserves zero stars and five stars all at once, because my experiences at corporate…read moreVerizon locations have been a whiplash between absolute lifesavers and shockingly toxic, incompetent staff. Part 1: The Palo Alto Disaster (-5 Stars) Twelve days prior to visiting Redwood City, I walked into a corporate Verizon store in Palo Alto with a phone that functioned minus the data. The store manager there, Logan Jones, casually deleted my physical SIM without my consent--supposedly to "fix" it--without realizing my SIM was locked and required 2FA tied to that exact non-working phone. He completely locked me out of my phone, my primary email, and my digital life. My phone remained stuck on SOS. When he couldn't fix his own mistake, he told me to request a replacement code mailed to my residential address, promising it would arrive by Monday. By day 12, it was still nowhere to be found. (That Palo Alto store conveniently divested three days later, leaving me entirely stranded.) Part 2: Javier Barajas is a Lifesaving Professional (5 Stars) Desperate and dealing with serious, sensitive legal security issues, I walked into the Redwood City corporate store and asked for a leader. I sat down with Javier Barajas, and he was nothing short of exceptional. He worked with me for close to three hours to unravel a profoundly complex problem. Given my situation and ongoing security concerns, Javier treated me with absolute respect, took me seriously, made me feel safe, and made me feel heard and cared for. He is the gold standard of customer support, and I cannot thank him enough for his empathy and competence. (Note during Part 2: Javier was so dedicated to helping me that he skipped his lunch break. When he finally had to step away, another employee stepped in to assist. That individual was rude, dismissive, and shockingly unprofessional--looking at my digital lock outs and telling me "chaos attracts chaos," implying I somehow caused this. He wore a necklace with the Ohm symbol, trying to project a spiritual, elevated mindset while acting in the exact opposite, victim-blaming manner.) Part 3: Chris and the Post-Visit Security Nightmare (-5 Stars) Unfortunately, the story took a dark turn about a week later. I began receiving urgent automated messages from Verizon Security alerting me that at 2:20 AM, someone was attempting to alter my user ID and execute a SIM swap on my account. Terrified for my digital safety given my active legal situation, I returned to the Redwood City store for help. This time, I encountered a manager named Chris. He was astonishingly rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. He refused to sit down with me, refused to introduce himself, refused to ask for my name, and refused to even look at my problem, deciding it was simply inconvenient for him. When I asked him, "How often do you tell people that you can do nothing for them after they come in here looking for help?" he immediately became agitated, stared down at me (a man well over six feet tall, with yellow lenses in his glasses, confronting a woman by herself in the middle of a store), and aggressively accused me: "Are you saying I'm lying? Are you saying I'm lying?" When I calmly clarified that I never said he was lying and asked my question again, he admitted: "Daily. Multiple times daily." As I collected my belongings and walked out in disgust, he yelled at my back, "Oh, would you like me to provide you with the fraud number for Verizon?" The Verdict Verizon, you have an incredible asset in Javier Barajas, who single-handedly salvaged my trust and fixed a catastrophic mess that your other employee created. But your Redwood City store culture has a serious problem with staff like Chris and the "Ohm-symbol" employee--people who project blame onto victims, display zero empathy, and resort to intimidation tactics and blatant hostility when a customer asks for help. Fix your security protocols, retrain your leadership, and give Javier a massive raise.

They are liars, incompetent and will not transfer to supervisors or billing dept when they cant resolve issues. 2) Customer service will disconnect your phone once you insists on supervisor/manager. 3) customer service individuals lack IQ of even 50. 4) their access number for prepaid plans to call international destination is siphoning money from your balance. when you call access code to dial international number, " you don't have sufficient funds" and will not place call but will deduct 5c each attempt. Remind you this this the only access number to call international destinations. 5) for monthly plan they have 213-808-6199 access code to call international and when you do " due to network difficulty we cannot complete your call, try again later" 6) when you address these issues you will be transferred to supervisor( if you are in luck) , phone will be disconnected and if you do get someone, then you start all over again. 7) their billing dept, supervisors for CSR cannot communicate and share their notes, go figure so you will be repeating same issues to each and every one at the very best. 8) I lost money/ balance as a direct result of above and no resolution, even worse they dont give a damn about your issues as these issue lingers on like pests at this company. 9) Needless to say I will not be patronizing this barbaric company and suggests no one should. 10) better business bureau complaint is being lodged from my side and hope you all would too. AVOID H2O WIRELESS FOR YOUR PREPAID SERVICES AT ALL COST.
