That employee disappeared, and a second person told me the battery wasn't in stock and would take three days to arrive -- plus another two hours for the actual repair. The Genius Bar feels like the Gaslighting Bar. I did my research and only wanted a replacement battery but they made me sit through a sales pitch. If they knew the battery I needed wasn't in stock why would they take the appointment? Apple loves to seem green, promoting repairability in theory, but in practice the process is designed to push customers toward buying new devices.
