They will bend over backwards to attract a new customer with discounts, promotions, trade-in offers, and incentives, but once they have your business, the level of concern seems to disappear almost immediately. Loyalty means virtually nothing to this company. Trying to get an issue resolved is an exercise in frustration. You can spend an absurd amount of time waiting, being transferred from one representative to another, repeating the same information over and over again, only to receive conflicting answers, empty promises, or no meaningful resolution whatsoever. What makes it even worse is the complete lack of urgency or accountability. Verizon seems perfectly comfortable allowing longtime customers to waste hours trying to fix problems that should have been handled correctly the first time. Instead of feeling valued for staying with the company, you are made to feel like an inconvenience. The message Verizon sends is very clear: they care far more about getting the next customer than keeping the ones who have already supported them for years. That is an incredibly shortsighted way to run a business. Existing customers should not have to threaten to cancel service before someone suddenly decides their concerns matter. We should not have to fight for fair treatment, chase down representatives, or spend hours trying to get basic customer service. Verizon may constantly advertise the strength of its network, but its customer service is embarrassingly weak. A company this large, profitable, and established has absolutely no excuse for treating loyal customers this poorly. If Verizon invested even a fraction of the effort it spends chasing new customers into actually taking care of its existing ones, maybe customer loyalty would mean something. At this point, I would strongly recommend that anyone considering Verizon look beyond the promotional offers and ask themselves what happens after Verizon already has your money. Because based on my experience, once they have you as a customer, you quickly become far less important.

I went from an iPhone 13 to an iPhone 16. The new phone is bigger with more storage, etc. It was backordered, and when it arrived, he transferred all my information to the new phone. He answered all my questions. Showed me the new equipment I would need. He made sure all my settings were updated and current. He Bluetoothed the new phone to my car. He was great. One Sunday afternoon, I stopped in to get a new phone case. John was already helping a woman at the desk. I offered to come back, but he said no, I can help you too. I sat down next to her and shortly thereafter, a third woman walked in needing assistance. No problem. John helped all three of us. 3 "mature" Long Island women were talking to John and each other simultaneously, and he never lost his cool. It was impressive!. Go to Verizon on Jericho Turnpike in Woodbury. You will not be disappointed!.
