I was referred here by my primary dentist as I was in need of an emergency extraction of two wisdom teeth. This office was able to see me immediately with about an hour's notice. They did a fantastic job preparing me for the procedure and walking me through what to expect. I had local anesthesia. There's no way to avoid all discomfort when going through something like this, but the team here really did make me as comfortable as possible. I'm a few days removed from the extraction and already feeling much better. I hope I never have to do this again, but if I do I would gladly visit this office again. read more

I've been very hesitant to write this and feel extremely uncomfortable sharing my personal, negative experience. But I also feel obligated to future patients and genuinely hope the practice can make policy changes. I tried to express my concerns privately and directly, but didn't receive a return response. I left the office without a treatment plan and with an unexpected, surprise invoice. Both of these could have been easily avoided and I don't know why they weren't. I cannot shake the feeling I was misled and manipulated. 1. I provided my PPO insurance information several days in advance and again upon arrival. I asked for an estimate of possible charges several times before seeing the doctor and after uncomfortably pressing for an answer, was only told a "worst case scenario" amount. After seeing the doctor, I was immediately told that I was out of network and would need to pay the "worse case scenario" fee. Why wasn't I told this before my visit or before seeing the doctor? 2. The doctor was great and provided a quick diagnosis, but was told a biopsy was the only way to be sure. An insurance specialist came in and presented me with a 4 figure estimate that I would need to pay immediately. After I was unable to make this payment, I was quickly escorted out of the exam room and not given the opportunity to speak with the doctor about warning signs or how to care for my condition. I think the doctor himself was high quality and had confidence in his expertise, I only wish I had the chance to receive a treatment plan and the office had been more direct about costs. read more

I woke up on a Friday with a swollen jaw and needed 3 wisdom teeth extracted immediately. I called them that morning and they were fully booked but told me to come in ASAP and they will fit me in somehow. I went in and was in, registered, teeth extracted, and back home in 3 hours! Everything from the doctors to the nurses, to the facility and the equipment was A++ all around. Some of the friendliest front desk people I've had the pleasure to deal with and the doctors were VERY informative and explained everything that was about to happen, the options I had and how much insurance would cover or how much I would owe depending on exactly what I wanted. Dr. Mardirosian did a great job removing all 4 of my impacted wisdom teeth. I'm on day 5 pre-op and the wounds look like they're healing great. All I really needed was ibuprofen and tylenol this whole time, but today I'm not in pain at all. It's obvious Dr. Mardirosian took great measures to be as non invasive and efficient as possible during my procedure. Not only that, but they gave me all the supplies and information I need to take care of my wounds. That included an ice pack for my cheeks/jaw, which was an absolute life saver! It also helped that he explained the aftercare to my boyfriend (who was driving me home) since I was completely out of it after surgery. They took everything into account, including my type one diabetes, allergies, and anxiety issues. They are great at answering questions and making sure you have a comfortable experience. Dr. Mardirosian even texted me later that night to see how I was doing! I highly recommend this office to anyone in the area. All the staff are super friendly, you won't regret it! And if you have anxiety like I do, communicate that with them! They will do what they can to make sure you feel 100% ok the day you have your surgery! He took the time to educate me on the anatomy of that area, how he would perform the surgery to carefully avoid damaging the nerve, post-operative expectations, and so forth. His friendly and communicative demeanor calmed my hesitation so I moved forward. On the day of surgery, the amicable staff were kind enough to ask what music I'd like to listen to as the anesthesia began. I was comfortably positioned and woke up just as quickly. There was minimal post-operative pain and I was quickly back to work! Fees remained as discussed during the pre-operative appointment. I do not recommend this group. I would give negative stars if I could. This is more of a warning to others to not go there. My daughter has long term issues due to the multiple infections and surgeries after having her wisdom teeth removed. The infection started right after surgery and she had to have her gums re-opened. They gave her an IV of antibiotics (no signed consent) when she was under, which her body responded to poorly. She had to go in a third time due to more infections. Still swollen, still recovering more than a year later. We also know of friends kids who had terrible infections after going there. They are lucky they haven't been sued for malpractice. She followed all post op instructions exactly as prescribed. Terrible experience. read more

I went in and let him know of my needle phobia and he was kind and understanding and laid out a plan for me. When I came in this morning his staff was aware of my requests to help me mentally prepare for this, one held my hand, they were all reassuring, and were so sweet about me crying actual tears. I never once felt judged for being 28 and so scared of needles and surgery. And the pain level was so low, even though I requested to be awake for the procedure. Asked if the took my insurance and they said yes. I went through all the trouble of doing all my paperwork and going to the visit. Before I was taken back, I asked the gal if we could go over my insurance to make sure we were all good and I was covered she said oh don't worry we'll take care of that afterwards. Turns out I was not in network so I used my specialist visit up that I only get once every six months, so I will have to pay out-of-pocket for another consult. The doctor seemed nice, but did not even examine my daughters mouth. He just looked at the x-ray. read more

If you need to get your wisdom teeth taken out... this is the place. I recommend calling ahead of time & getting an appointment + consultation though. I've been pushing removing mine for about 4 years because I've never felt comfortable with any dental surgeons I've had consultations with. I was referred by Dr Janette Pinedo over at Rolling Hills (she's amazing too). Their office was able to contact Oral Surgery Partners and secured an appointment for me within the hour. I went in and they made me feel very relaxed and comfortable. The staff are patient and explained the whole procedure. The worst part for me was the IV sedation because of my small veins. But the nurses made the situation less tense for me by distracting me with conversation and even holding my hand (kinda embarrassing because I'm almost 30). A few pokes later, and bam, I woke up in the recovery room. Pain wasn't there at all afterwards & they were very good with explaining their care instructions. The swelling went down pretty quickly also. Dr Joshua gave me a call several hours after my operation to check on how I was doing. I just had a great experience... and I never thought I'd say that about an oral surgery. 10/10 recommend. Definitely take your kids here if they have white coat syndrome. read more

I am so grateful for this place. My teenage daughter had to get 2 wisdom tooth and 2 molars extracted. She was super scared... but everyone from the start was really nice and accommodating. The nurse that checked her in, we love her. she was super engaging and really talked to my daughter to ease her fear and made her laugh. This was the best experience I've ever had with a dentist or with an oral surgeon I've had two other teeth extracted and this procedure was smooth, and painless. I am now 24 hours post and I haven't had any pain with the help of a single Tylenol. I slept fine with little to no swelling which I'm going to attribute to Dr Mardirosian's skills, state of the art technology, equipment, and, a unique blood clot procedure - a painless blood draw and then they create a blood clot in a test tube and place it on the extraction hole which would normally take a week for my body to create.
