Just another 5/5 stars for one of my fave places in the univerrrssse. I was having a bad day so I took a stroll down to Orale to get the birria combo (3 tacos with consomme for ~$15) & even treated myself to a horchata. It was just pure perfection. The salsa verde sauce they make is my favorite of all time - it's so fresh & sharp & delicious. Once I've finished the tacos I just drink the consomme like it's water. It's SO good. The staff working is super sweet! Just be sure to bring cash to tip, as I've found out the sad way that you can't leave a tip on a card payment here. read more

I wish I lived closer to this place and although I've ordered through Uber eats, it's not the same. Having it fresh is way better! On dog walks through the West End, and Olneyville I got the chance to try a handful of street taco stands. This one stood out. Consistently, the birria tacos, side of consommé for the dog were perfect. Friendly counter people, definitely look forward to visiting at least once a week read more

Absolutely disgusting. Twice now they have had the nerve to pack up burnt tamales that are obviously extremely old, dry and smelly. The pozole was literally grease with water and garlic flavor. We hired Orale Taqueria to cater a work party for our 90 employees and they did a fantastic job! Keyla was excellent at helping us set up the right menu and getting it all organized. The team showed up, set up all the food for the party, and served all our employees...and did this for our 1st and 2nd shifts. The food was hot, tasty, and well prepared. Best tacos I've had in Providence so far! My friend from CA said this is the closest to CA tacos she had here on the east coast, so that means something. It's only $2/taco, but they really fill you up. I got three asada tacos and a verde tamale. Both were delicious and flavorful! The best thing about this place is the vibe. I came here on a 60 degrees sunny day, so we sat outside under a tent like structure. I can't explain the feeling, but it's very nostalgic and humble. It reminds you of how it's important to appreciate the smaller, hidden things in life. Echoing what others said, bring cash because there is a $1 credit card charge. This is the typical restaurant that you drive by but never knew it was a restaurant. Not really a sit-down restaurant, more like a shack. I tried google maps to get here but it kept taking me to a different location. This restaurant is located right near the intersection of Cranston and Dexter St. right across from the Cranston Street Armory. This is strictly a takeout restaurant. The food is authentic and delicious. This is one of those, don't let the outside fool you type of restaurants. Love the Big Burrito, Tacos, and the Guacamole. It's literally a gate in a fence to get to the order window. Yea, what the others say is true - darn good tacos. The pastor were delicious. Like so good, I'd eat there weekly, if I lived nearby. First time and last time visit, I have been to mexico and various states in the US so I know flavores may differ in taquerias...but please use some kind of herbs and spices or atleast salt..the amount of portion should go with pricing and please if you raised prices due to inflation its understood but keep the quality...and post all changes and charges...its important to have a good atitude your clientele are what keeps you open. I've had many tasty street tacos and above average nachos here, but what I really love about this little open air taqueria steps away from the Cranston Street Armory off Dexter Field is their agua fresca. Rather than being just flavored waters, the agua frescas here are more like slushies--blended fruit and ice and no added sugar or syrups to get in the way of pure fruity slushy goodness. The flavors are limited, but it is hard to find better tasting real fruit slushies at many other places in PVD. In addition, the pricing is cheap, the service is warm and friendly, and it's walking distance to PVD West Siders and Armory denizens. They take phone orders too if you want to save some time and have your food to go. Mexican food lovers in PVD are very lucky to have this little taqueria around--in terms of no-frills street food, this little taqueria is one of the better ones around. read more

It's a small, neighborhood spot with great Mexican food. I usually get tamales or enchiladas, and both are perfect. If they have the avocados for guacamole, you're a fool if you don't add that on. The only problem is they don't give you enough chips for the mountain of guacamole. Cash only. During the cold weather or the busy summer months, it pays to call ahead. You may also want to brush up on your Spanish before visiting, but they are super sweet no matter how crappy your attempt. read more

Best burritos. Stuffed with carne azada, rice, beans, pico de gallo, lettuce, cheese and sour cream. Paid $8 but it's huge. So far this is the closest to authentic Mexican food around. I have only tried the burritos. Salsa was good. My boyfriend was not fond of the tacos. He asked for no onions but they put onions. Make sure you make yourself clear when you order. Calling ahead is best. You can eat there but it's a taco truck basically with picnic tables and some sort of cover to protect against rain. read more

Amazing/authentic Mexican food. I don't use the word "authentic" lightly, as it's definitely overused. The food is great here, and make sure to bring some cash because they don't accept credit cards. This place might be easy to miss if you're in a car, but it's right on the corner of Lester St and Dexter St. Outdoor seating / no smoking. Lovely and super friendly people. When I went it was two primarily Spanish-speaking women. At first there was a slight miscommunication about my wanting vegetarian burritos, but it was quickly resolved. I've had several items here and have found them to be so-so. For some reason their food just feels heavier than other taquerias (La Lupita, Emmanuel's) and not as fresh. They do have a diverse selection of meats and cuts, and I have to give them credit for a very tasty Barbacoa (goat). Food was good but nothing impressive. We are on the hunt for the BEST tacos and three were not it. I also left annoyed bc I was with my Spanish speaking friend (the looks white) and my 2 children. We got our food at the counter,sat down and ate, like normal people. As we were finishing up the worker said to the other workers, in Spanish of course, they better not leave the table like that or they should leave a tip. First if all, we didn't have a waitress, second of all there were normal crumbs on the table as you could imagine after eating tacos....lol and third of all the ignorant waitress said nothing about the Spanish family at the other table, and fourth of all you have tables for people to eat at.
