This is the best breakfast I have had in a long time. We are from San Clemente and up here in Orange pawn shopping when hunger struck us. We saw what looked like a gift shop and noticed a little black and white awning said orange cafe. We though let's try it, sometimes the local spot not on the Main Street is best. Well folks this place is a slice of food heaven. The service was fantastic, food was fresh, large portions, well seasoned. We are stoked to have found this place but sad we live 45 min away. I've seen this place on yelp every time I look for breakfast places and I FINALLY came to try it. It's definitely a hidden gem. I love mom and pop places and I'm so glad I found this place. I had the country benedict and my husband had the orange cafe breakfast. The gravy is amazing! The biscuits were fluffy and delicious. A super great brunch place! Parking is very limited but there is street parking available. Arrived here at around 11 on Monday and there were a lot of people ahead of us-waited for about 20-25 minutes. Waiting for the food itself took a pretty long time but it was understandable since there were only two servers. I got the Denver Potato Pancake which is a basically a huge hash brown with onions, bell peppers,ham and cheese inside. Highly recommend! I feel like its a really unique dish. Every bite was delicious because it had all the components to it. It also came with eggs (however you like it) and bacon or sausage. You are definitely getting your moneys worth when you get this dish. My friend got the Vegetable Omelette which was also very good. The taste of cheese really stood out in the omelette. It also came with House Potatoes. The House Potatoes was probably the best part of the dish! It is mixed with bell peppers and onions. 4.5/ 5 STARS- The food here is amazing. As for the food, there were so many options. I decided to order the Eggs Benedict with a side of Home Fries. Both my sisters went with the special Creme Brûlée French Toast that came with choice of eggs, choice of meat and either hashbrown or home fries. When they brought out her food we thought the portions were large...Nope they ordered and charged her for the adult portion which was large, but also twice the price. Such a dirty trick. I didn't make a fuss because we were with a group. I tried to order two separate menu items and they were out of both, so I just drank my $3.69 glass of watered down ice tea.We have enjoyed this local hole in the wall for 13 years,my elderly parents drive from Riverside and usually look forward to eating here. Great little find for breakfast on a Friday morning. The locals say it gets really busy on the weekends. There is only outside seating, however, we saw many people picking up to go orders as well. My husband, daughter and I went to the Orange Cafe today for the first time. We called in advance and the young lady that answered said it would be a 20 minute wait for the three of us but that it might be quicker than that. We arrived and we only waited 10 minutes. We sat down and received a wonderful welcome from our waitress and asked if it was our first time. After we said it was she proceeded to tell us a little history about the restaurant and then told us about the new meals, the most popular and her favorite meal. I really liked her personality!! My husband ordered the bloody Mary and Shawn came out to tell my husband how it was made. The service was warm, welcoming and very personable. Wow the service is amazing and the food is really good! They have a little row of outdoor also where you can bring your dog. I ordered the steak and eggs, got the panda pancakes for my toddler. I wasn't expect much from the steak especially being from a cafe but it was cooked really well the way I want it (medium) and I got it with their Irish style hash browns with over easy eggs (2). The steak was very tasty the whole way through and didn't need any extra salt or A1... the eggs and hash didn't need any salt either. Really happy I found this gem! Since discovering Orange Café after passing by the intersection of Tustin and Mayfair a few times I decided to give it a shot. I walked out immediately blown away by the gracious service, the size of portions and the overall quality of the food. The atmosphere reflects going home to moms for a family brunch where everyone is having a good time and that food reflects that. The Orange Café has become our standby on Saturday mornings. Debbie, Nina, and Maria are exceptional! They make you feel more than just a part of the family, they make you feel like you are part of their own family. It's not always easy finding a neighborhood gem but when you do, you want to keep it to yourself. However, this place deserves the attention, and I am happy to see them grow. My usual regardless of where I go is corned beef and hash. The dish here is exceptional as it is restrained. Exactly as it should be. Pair it with Irish fries along with the eggs and you walk out happily stuffed. The ownership is caring beyond measure and their authenticity is felt throughout. Went for lunch about 11:30 on a Saturday. About a 30min wait. Small restaurant, old cafe diner feel. Lots of food to choose from. Our table got: club sandwich(good, fresh but could use some more turkey), cheeseburger was good a bit dry as was over cooked to medium well not medium as requested. French toast just ok- kinda dry like the egg batter didn't penetrate bread, just added lots of syrup and butter. Hash and hash browns sausage (both kinds) were very good. Patty melt good. Omelet was cooked perfectly, egg nice and soft, lots of good add ons. You don't get a lot of fries with your meal which was kind of a disappointment. The waitress was very nice and accommodating. Ranch was pretty good. All in all we would go back if in the area. Was $60ish for 3 adult meals, 1 kids meal and 5 drinks before tip. read more

Pros: wonderful service and delicious food for a reasonable price Cons: the place is super tiny and has limited seating (They have a few tables that they put outside of the front door). Therefore, the wait can be long. Also the parking is very limited so you may have to park in the street in the residential areas. Anyway, all in all, it was a good experience.
