It is a very nice place. Everybody has professional caring and they help you. I felt very welcoming, especially Angie. She's such a girl.

The ultrasound technician that examined me did an excellent job. She was very friendly and professional. She answered my questions and made me feel comfortable. The problem I have with this place is the incompetence that goes on in the clerical department. My doctored needed my exam results asap. I brought in my prescription / doctor referral for exam (NOTE: this document has all of my doctor's contact information on it). After I received my exam, they never sent my doctor the results. I contacted them and they were unable to find my exam results in their "system". To make a long story short, after my final contact with them...they were able to find record of my exam. They said that they did not send it to my doctor because they did not have his contact information; which is printed on the front of the exam referral that I gave them. It took a few months, but my doctor eventually got my exam results back. read more

Worst customer service ever!The staff at the front desk moves at their own snails pace without any consideration to what's going on in the lobby, certainly not putting the patient's needs first. They are task oriented rather than customer service oriented. Not only that but the last three times myself or one of my family members showed up for an x-ray, their x-ray department was closed and they sent us somewhere else. Should mention that this is the location on Paseo de Valencia in Laguna Hills, in the Wells Fargo building, not the one at the Irvine address. read more

I have never had a worse experience with an office than I have here. I came in for my first ultrasound since I became pregnant and they charged me for two ultrasounds due to the technicians mistake of doing the wrong ultrasound. After almost a week of trying to get some resolution and being passed around constantly and never being called back. I finally called in to speak to someone who could actually help me. The head manager Shalee Corella answered the phone in the nastiest tone, after I explained the situation she told me she would not be helping me since her junior was already working on it. EVEN THOUGH HER JUNIOR HAD TO SPEAK TO HER ABOUT IT TO GET IT RESOLVED. She has zero respect for me and told me she couldn't take 10 minutes out of her time to assist me with my problem. This is supposed to be an exciting time for me having a baby, and this is stressing me out having to deal with getting a bill that I shouldn't be paying removed from my account. Even my midwife agreed I shouldn't have to pay it. Do not recommend this company as they obviously don't know what they are doing and are zero help in getting it resolved, added they don't care one bit about their clients. *update* I ended up having to pay the amount because they would not budge. This is a review about the Laguna Woods facility, next to Wells Fargo. Unfortunately I came here too many times until I found out that I am able to request alternate facilities. The overall 2-star is due to the technicians who are very polite, nice & caring. The rest of the business is horrible, like 0-star. Making appointments is not easy, as they rarely answer the phone & quite often send patients to a non-manned extension or to a voicemail. God help you if you have any insurance issues. The front desk is awful. Once they called me 2 days prior to my appointment to inform me that one of the tests was declined by my insurance company (this phone call was the only positive in the whole ordeal) & we agreed that we would proceed with the authorized test. Upon checking in I found the co-pay amount really high, so I asked for an invoice. The girl told me that she had already given it to me.. referring to the credit card receipt. I explained that I meant a detailed invoice, name of test, price, insurance pay, etc. for FLEX submittal. She looked at me as if I had asked about parts for a spaceship. She said they didn't issue detailed invoices & that the insurance company would send it to me... After I insisted, another lady got involved & finally they gave me a printout. Sure enough, both tests were on it. When I asked them to remove the test that we were not doing, I was informed that it was not possible. Why? Because that is the amount that was in the computer when I initially requested the appointment... by then it was my turn to go in for the test. I returned to the front desk to resolve the invoicing when I was informed that the girl I was talking to earlier would be on lunch break for an hour.. I insisted that somebody else would remove the non-performed test's fee. After an exhausting explanation, another lady who seemed knowledgeable was able to give me the refund. I have no idea how much over-billing happens here, as during my time there a lot of transactions took place & no invoice was given to anybody, just the credit card receipts. When I asked to talk to the manager, first they tried to brush me off, then he came out. He was very polite & listened to me. Basically I was told that it happens all the time with the insurance & even if I hadn't asked for a detailed invoice, the check with the difference would have been mailed to me... sure... "Refund check in the mail". Luckily there are other scanning facilities around. read more

New owners dont know shot! HIPAA violations left and right. Guy takes you back in groups of 3 like a cattle call. No gown offered for chest xray. "Just take off your bra"! Doors dont lock in dressing rooms. Now I'm sitting next to mr. TB, waiting for my post pneumonia xray. This used to be my go to but NEVER AGAIN! Arrived at 1:55 for my 2p appointment. They told me to arrive with a full bladder for my procedure. Signed in and sat down like I was told. Noticed after 20 mins secretary hasn't called me to fill out paperwork. After 40 mins and other patients who arrived after me leaving, checked on my status. He forgot about me and hadn't checked me in! I was one of 3 people in the waiting room and kept staring at him. We made eye contact several times. So after waiting needlessly for an hour with a full bladder, I worry about their attention to detail and would recommend going somewhere else. read more

This review is for the young woman who works in this diagnostic centre. Her name is 'Samira'. Honestly I think she is not a ordinary person. I believe she is an angel. I have claustrophobia and therefore It is not easy for me to be in the MRA Machine. OMG! you can't imagine how much she cared about me! She stayed with me and looked after me all the time! I don't know her but I really like her and respect her kindness character. Sweetheart Samira! Don't come here at 8:00 when they open with a stat xray prescription thinking you will get your xray done before 8:30. There was no one here but us, they said the xray machines needed to warm up so xrays don't start until 8:30. That's annoying, you should state that upfront to people. So we waited. At 8:30 the xray tech walked in the front door. So much for machines warming up. Just tell me the truth not a bs story. read more

I went here 2 days ago for a breast MRI. It was easy to get an appointment. The front desk person was very helpful and the technician was very nice and helpful. They also got the pre-authorization from my insurance company for me which was a nice surprise as I did not ask them to. I had a breast MRI 2 years ago at Hoag Imaging. They were just as nice and competent here as at Hoag but the same procedures are 1/4 to 1/2 the cost of Hoag. As much as I liked Hoag, I don't think it is 2 or 4 times better. I will definitely be coming back. I will update this review when I get my results to report how long it takes. I was informed that it would take approximately 2 weeks. read more

I came to Orange County Diagnostics two times. My doctor sent me here once for a Ct exam and I came back for a x-ray. I'd have to say, both experiences were great! The girl in the front desk was nice. It was my first time ever having a Ct exam so needless to say, I was a bit nervous as to what was going to happen. Ocd called me ahead of time to remind me of my exam and answered all my questions while giving clear instructions on how to prepare for my visit. T, the Ct/x-ray tech was simply amazing! She was kind, professional and made me feel at ease during the procedures. I was seen on time for my Ct appointment, and didn't have to wait too long for my walk in x-ray visit. The office was air conditioned and smelled really clean. All the girls working there had a positive vibe! Ample amount of parking. Great experience overall. read more

This review is for the Irvine facility, specifically Tina, my technician for the procedure who was outstanding.She was extremely kind, comforting and patient. She explained everything perfectly and offered encouragement during the test. She did her job beautifully and I left feeling so much better than when I entered the facility.Thank you Tina for for your skills and manner. I would give Tina 5 stars, but the facility neglected to call me a few days prior to this appointment to tell me the machine was out of service. This appointment was a reschedule. I have been to OC Diagnostics 3 times and have always have a positive experience. The staff is helpful and friendly and skilled. They go out of their way to explain and make patients comfortable. The waiting room is comfortable and has a self service beverage area. A very short walk from the free parking lot and easily accessible. Recommended! read more

It's clean and receptionist staff is nice but I have never had to wait over an hour for a simple X-ray. Go across the street. I would have, but they don't take walk-ins today. May not be as comfortable, but you won't be sitting around for days! Also, X-Ray guy seemed to be "put out" by the idea of work or customer service. Most likely, common occurrence as that the reception was hesitant to check us in. Tech also, addressed individual in front of us as "Dude". Very unprofessional. We will not be returning. Had to leave after waiting 1.20minutes. Pathetic. read more

Be aware that if you need copies of your images, the OC Diagnostics medical records department does not return phone calls and all calls routinely go to voicemail. My PCP even tried calling the physicians' desk to no avail. There are so many other imaging centers in the area. Try those first. I had much better luck with Newport Diagnostics. A little more expensive but worth not having the hassle. read more

poor service. My father ( who follows instructions thoroughly) had a MRI scheduled a month in advance. He shows up 30 min early, and the receptionist tells him they forgot to tell him to drink a contrast in advance and prepare for the procedure. They had to reschedule it for 3 weeks later. No apologies etc. They were rude when my dad was frustrated that now had to re re schedule. There is no supervision and accountability. read more

Went in for breast MRI on 7/5. Called on 7/12 to find out where my results were. Was told they take 7 - 10 bus days. Called on 7/19 was told I should have them by the end of the week (7/21). Today is 7/25 1 day shy of 3 weeks later! Still no results. Called today they said my Dr should have them in an hour. :/ We shall see. What they heck is the hold up!? Nobody can tell me anything. Don't go here, you will get the run around. read more

DO NOT go here. Dishonest business owner, although the employees are very nice. OC Diagnostics sent me a bill a year after my MRI, and after my insurance company paid. I spoke to a lady named Sheva who said she is the owner of OC Diagnostics and couldn't keep her story straight regarding what the charge was for. OC Diagnostics also sent my medical records to a wrong address. Sheva said she owns all OC Diagnostics. I reported OC Diagnostics to my insurance company who is investigating the fraudulent charges. Red flag: when the owner answers billing calls as the "billing manager", then tells you she's actually the owner when you contest the charge. read more

Nice staff and convenient location. Plenty of free parking. Lockers to store personals is nice. Not crowded and appointment was on time. The reason for lower rating is terribly, uncomfortable headphones. Could not hear music or staff when tried to communicate . Also, very hot inside with poor ventilation. read more

These places (the Irvine / Laguna woods facilities) thinks people have no life and plenty of time to waste. (the story involves 2 places - I will post each on their respective sites.) If i could give a zero star I would. The management at this facility is incompetent. I showed up for my appointment (10:30 AM) early (around 9 AM) and they didn't have my technician to do my test (he had an personal emergency that morning to do.) - I was asked if I got a phone call, and I replied "Obviously not, since I'm here. - Then another person said "what's going on? that makes 4 people who didn't get calls this morning." - Seriously incompetent there. So they booked me a 11:45 AM appointment at the Laguna Woods Office and sent me to there. I really HATE that place from previous visits... But today they were a horror story unto themselves that makes this place look super great in comparison. (I will post that story on their site.) I complained to my doctor's office as well, and I'm trying to get another company to run my tests. Who needs incompetency when having tests run to solve medical conditions and problems? This is the husband's notes: I scheduled my annual CT scan. At 4:47pm tonight (my appointment is tomorrow @ 10am) I got a VM on my cell from Kim @ OCD. She said that I hadn't had a blood test in the last 6 months so I need to go to the Laguna Woods facility for a blood test an hour before my appointment at the Irvine facility. Her VM asked me to call scheduling back at option 3. I called back at 5:15 when I got the VM and was put on hold for "7 minutes". At 5:25pm the call finally rang through to scheduling (which closes at 5:30pm) and it rang steady for the next 10 minutes until I hung up at 5:35pm. I called several times until 6pm but no one would answer the phone, so Irvine is open until 7pm so I got in my car and drove over there. We got there at 6:20pm and the place was locked up tight. Problem is I'm supposed to drink the contrast at 7am tomorrow morning but I don't know if they can do the scan without the blood work and I can't talk to anyone until 8am (if I'm lucky). My PCP doesn't open until 8:30am (to confirm blood work within the past 6 months) and they never answer the phone nor call back, which is why it took almost 6 months to get the CT scan scheduled in the first place. Working with the medical industry is really pathetic. This must be why we are called "patients".... read more
