When I went into Orange County Mattress I was helped by Jessy and he really made my whole experience with OC mattress great. I had in mind what I was looking for and Jessy showed me exactly that. He answered all my questions and showed me my options, but never tried to pressure me into a sale or push something more expensive on me. I left without making a final decision and Jessy gave me his contact info and told me to contact him when I was ready. He didn't blow up my phone or put any pressure on me in the following days. When I was ready I reached out to him and he was able to send me an invoice via email, so I didn't even have to go back in store to make my purchase. My mattress was ready to be delivered within 5 days. I was given a 4 hour delivery window and told I would receive a call 30 min prior to arrival. Unfortunately, I never got a call so I wasn't prepared to answer the door when the delivery arrived. Regardless, the delivery experience was great as well. I was expecting them to just drop the mattress just inside my doorway, as most companies do. This store has a few locations in Orange County and since we live in Huntington Beach, we tried this one first. We met Jerry and my wife and I both liked him right away. No pressure, just great information. We also checked out Newport (Mario) and Corona Del Mar (Brian) both great guys but we didn't feel as comfortable as we did with Jerry. So, we went back and made the purchase. It was close to the same deal at all 3 stores but Jerry was the only one that mentioned a free bed frame. Anyhow, as promised, the mattress was delivered in a few days. Two super polite guys showed up, on time and set everything up. We got an Airloom Heaven Luxury Firm. Check it out. I have purchased three mattresses from OCM over the past several years and been very happy with all. The latest one was 6 months ago and was an Aireloom mattress (a premium fairly expensive) handmade mattress which is likely the most comfortable mattress I have ever owned. A previous purchase 10 years ago was an OCM San Clemente mattress which used to be my favorite before purchasing the Aireloom and it is still very, very comfy. I highly recommend OCM. read more

My husband and I purchased a mattress from this store this summer. This was the best experience I've had when purchasing a mattress. Jerry, our salesman, was knowledgeable regarding the stock and was not a "high pressure" kind of employee (which we appreciated). He told us the differences between the various mattresses and materials. We chose a Sealy and have had it for about two months. It is a fabulous bed! I want to update my review on the Posh and Lavish bed. My back has been in pain since we bought it. Originally, I thought I just had to get used to it. And by the time I considered exchanging it, it was beyond the return timeframe. Plus my wife really wanted a bed that would adjust positions. It's all my fault. But after about 9 months of having constant back aches, I bought an egg crate memory foam mattress pad from Amazon. So I took off my Posh and Lavish mattress pad and replaced it with the egg crate foam pad. Now my back is feeling better. While we love the store, and employees; my recommendation would be to be careful buying a posh and lavish mattress. I feel like I was sleeping on a cot at a camp ground. The Posh and Lavish is one of the top of the line beds. There are plenty of other options there about the 1/3rd the price. I will conclude that we will continue to buy our beds there. read more

I wish I did not buy a mattress here. Buying a mattress is starting to feel like buying a used car. The salesman strategy is very similar. However, our salesman was nice enough. My boyfriend and I tried all the beds but were convinced by the salesman to buy the most expensive bed in the store $5000. Now if that bed was how he described, I wouldn't have even written this review. However, My biggest issue with the store is their return policy. We were told the mattresses on the floor were broken in, like 6 month old mattresses. But the bed we tried in the store was much more firm. Regardless, you really can't feel a bed until you sleep on it for multiple nights. That leads me to their return policy: can EXCHANGE within 60 days for an EXORBITANT FEE. 10% handling fee ($500) plus a $125 delivery fee. Initially my bed felt decent, but after two months it started feeling uncomfortable. My option was to exchange my bed for an equal or greater value.... Well I got the most expensive bed... and pay $625 to do so. And if that new bed doesn't work out, you're SOL because it's limited to a one bed exchange. Now it's been almost a year and I toss and turn, I wake up with back pain, and I sleep better in my 10 year old couch. But there's nothing I can do about it besides eat $5k and buy a new bed. This time from Costco or another company that has a reasonable return policy. read more

Extremely bad costumer service. Bought a mattress less than 6 months ago. The mattress is sinking for some reason. Called the store and they credited me in order to get another mattress. So far so good, went back to the store and picked up a new mattress (of course more expensive so i added money) When they came to replace the mattress today they didn't take my "old" 6 months mattress saying it's stained. Attached is a picture maybe someone else can tell me where the stain is since I cannot see it.
