Where do I even begin? Unless you like being given attitude, being threatened, and your TV broken, I would take your business somewhere else- immediately. The experience with Orange County Movers was nothing short of horrendous. When calling to book my appointment, I mentioned the Yelp deal (likely still up) and was told that I should mention it to the driver before paying and that I would receive the discount. I was also told that I would receive a discount for using cash (hmm...wonder why? Don't like taxes much, huh?) I also am pretty sure they said a two hour minimum not 3, like they ended up charging me for. I was called about an hour before my scheduled window and was told that I could either have the driver come right now or I was going to have to deal with them being late. I told them that we had planned for this time and we're not ready so had to wait (whatever, moving is annoying enough, if this were the only issue I would be fine). When the driver called to let me know he was on his way, he tried to sell me on hiring a third mover for my small apartment...obviously didn't want to, but again, fine whatever- no thanks. The move went fine and we got to my new place but when I went to pay and mentioned the deal, I was told that the mover would have to call the owner to ask. He comes back and says that the owner, Andy, said he would not be willing to honor the deal because I didn't purchase it (24 hours before-offered to purchase on the spot) even though I was told clearly, to just mention it at check-out. I asked to speak with the owner and he got on the phone and started screaming and yelling at me and refused to honor the deal. He then started threatening me by saying "you don't know who you are messing with...you don't know me." Excuse me??? How unprofessional and frankly ILLEGAL. I should have just called the police right then but decided it was a small discount anyways and I would just pay and have them out. The next day when my cable guy came to set up the tv, and turned it on- we noticed the huge crack internally in the screen (pictured). It didn't have that before and it was clearly broken by them in the move. I called over again and was yelled at AGAIN and hung up on. I was told that because I didn't notice it while they were there (obviously since it's an internal crack and the tv was off) that I would have no luck with them. After calling back again, I was told to email a picture, which obviously received ZERO response. The TV is an extremely nice and expensive 60 inch Sharp tv, and it's beyond disgusting that I should have to take care of damage that was done by them. It's beyond a shame that they behave this way, the drivers themselves were actually really great (besides the obvious accident) and I feel sorry for them that they work for an abusive owner. This review will not be updated or edited unless and until I receive a response and payment in return for the damages. I will also be contacting the BBB, Rip Off Report, etc. AND have already discussed this with my legal team and we are prepared. This needs to be made right. It is theft and the threats are beyond illegal and unprofessional. FIND ANOTHER COMPANY!!! I wish I could give a negative star review, rather than 1. I've recently relocated from Fullerton to Orange and desperately needed my couch and ottoman moved to my new place (I've already moved all my other shit the weekend before). Brian and Alvin (hope I spelled your names right), ended up being my two movers today. They were both polite and careful with my furniture. OC Moving Company saved the day for us! We hadn't booked a moving company close to the end of the month but OC Moving was available so we booked it. The service we received from Jessica booking the reservation was great. She put notes in our file so the guys remembered to bring neoprene runners to cover our hardwood floors. She also called to confirm our reservation the day before. Once the team of movers arrived they all introduced themselves to us and were friendly. Ryan, Elton, and Mehman were the team working with us for the day. They were fast and very aware that we were worried about our floors. They wrapped up everything with plastic and blankets and even moved our piano like experts! They took a lot of care with how they packed our belongings and with our home! The response time for an appointment was fast and easy. We had Michael and Anthony come by to move our stuff. Michael called to let us know he was on our way and arrived when he said he will arrive... which to me is a huge plus. Micheal was very courteous and professional. We did a walkthrough to get a game plan and they really started to go at it. They loaded at a consistent pace and I don't think they took any breaks. Their stretch wrap was very well done. I really felt the furniture was secure. When we arrived to the new place they unloaded so quickly. I highly recommend Michael and Anthony. Side, always ask for three movers or more if possible. I didn't realized how much stuff needed to be moved. And invest in buying all the boxes at u-haul... it will save you money in the long run. read more

There were pros and cons to this moving company - I wouldn't hire them again since we did not receive value for price paid AND they also were incredibly rude after the move. Here's our full review. Let's start with the pros. -Full service packing offered - two movers packed up my 4-bed house in 4.5 hours. -The guys who unloaded the truck were very professional and placed things where we needed them to be placed. It was a hot day and they worked hard and fast. Cons: -They charge you for packing supplies at an incredibly high premium but they don't properly use them. Got charged $50 for bubble wrap and Tommy showed me how much wrap was left at the end of the move - which sucked because a box of my items were totally broken! Coringware, cake stands, expensive mugs. What the hell? -When they packed, they put my FLOOR MATS on top of my utensils. Who even does this? -They knew how much stuff I had since they came one day the first day to pack our house, and the 2nd day to load - but their truck DID NOT FIT OUR ITEMS. We had to go back to our house and rent another UHaul to get the rest of our items. Paying $1500 for a move should mean I don't lift a finger. Also, when I emailed to ask for a reimbursement for the broke dishes at $108 (with screen shots for replacing them new) this is the response I got. "You know that they are not brand new and we don't know exactly how much does it cost. $50 is really good cost for them." What the actual F? Don't work with them. These guys were beyond amazing! Communicated everything very clearly from the get-go. Called before they were to arrive with an ETA. They all showed up in great spirits, ready to rock and roll. They got started wrapping all the furniture, and loading boxes with the lift gate truck. All four guys who came were absolutely hustlers. They would dolly boxes into the house, drop them off, and run back to the truck. Javad, William, Tony and Fidencio all come with my highest recommendation. I used these movers twice within the span of 3 weeks. The first team was great and very helpful, cleaned up all the extra plastic wrap and helped move things in order. They completely put together the furniture the right way and I was very pleased. I used the company again a few weeks later and the team of 3 I got was so nearly the complete opposite. It took them the same amount of time to move about half the items, furniture was put together incorrectly and when I asked them to take the heaps of plastic wrap they left all around my condo, they said, "We don't do that". Will not be using them again, seems pretty hit and miss but giving them two stars for my first experience. read more

I got three men with one truck for moving out of 2 bedroom apartment and they helped me get into 3 bedroom apartment with no problem. Let's break this down for a honest and helpful review. First - great customer service and responsive owner (Andy) and was able to accommodate a short notice since my original mover had to cancel Cost breakdown : $89/hr with cash and $99 with credit card for 2 workers , if within 15 miles the rate will not double for gas (I believe), and 3 hour minimum so will be at least 267. After the first 3 hours, then each 15 minutes is pro-rated, no extra fee for the wrapping of furniture etc (this just factored in extra time). I was completed after moving a distance of 11 miles with a 1 bedroom 1 living room set up, in approximately 3 hrs 45 min. Total cost 333.75 - 20 (yelp discount) = 313.75 PROS: 1. another company in the area (Discount Movers) was slightly different with doubling the rate for fuel if the drive was over 30 minutes. 2. Extremely nice and easy going guys - I cannot pronounce/spell out their names. They were from Azerbaijan so they had names that must have been endemic to that country 3. on the morning of, one of the workers called in sick, so Andy scrambled extra help from their los angeles group. They arrived 45 min - 1 hr late, but that was fine. That showed me they had a back up plan. 4. Yelp discount 5. responsive boss (Andy) - I called and asked how experienced my movers were after seeing them take 2.5 hours to move my belongings, whereas my previous mover (1 person) did everything in approximately the same time - probably because he was so hyped up with caffeine. Andy called the crew and asked to verify the amount of material they moved, so they took a picture and sent it to him. Overall, they picked up the pace after that. CONS: 1. their truck was unmarked with a label or title for their company, so initially I was a little hesitant, but not a big deal 2. I had packed everything ready to go, but the 2 movers took around 2.5 hours to move everything down (1 bedroom and 1 living room) - it could have been done faster if they had a cart that was able to roll on the ground. They only used 2 wheel dollies, which I thought was highly inefficient. As a comparison, they moved all the material into my new apartment up a flight of stairs in 1 hour, after I asked for them to pick up the pace 3. my table got damaged, but not a big deal since I just wanted everything moved quickly Overall, great customer service, easy going personnel, responsive, fair price, and able to complete the job smoothly! GOOD WORK! Biggest suggestion is to have available a 4 wheel moving cart, instead of only 2 wheel dollies. read more

Three guys arrived on time and got right to work, moving my boxes and furniture from one apartment to another in the same complex. They had to negotiate a narrow hallway and staircase for both apartments, and did a great job of that. I had a particular piece of furniture that was very large, a display cabinet, and they wrapped it within an inch of its life. In fact, all my furniture was wrapped and taken care of very well. They supplied garment boxes too. Moving can be very stressful, but their fast work and friendly personalities made things much easier. I have moved a few times in my life, but I've never had better movers. From the first communication to finally waving goodbye, they were A+ all the way. The breaks they took were so brief, and it was so hot, that I had to encourage them to take additional time. They were extremely courteous and respectful of our property and home. I'm a little late with this review. I moved on May 25, 2017. Setting up the appointment was easy. Confirming the move was also easy. They responded very quickly. They sent three guys. They arrived at the latter part of the time range I was given. I had a lot of stuff that needed to be moved and they were able to fit it in one truck. The guys were courteous and meticulously wrapped everything that was moved. All my stuff was moved without damage. With that said, I was a little annoyed that they got lost during the move to the new location. But the new location was a new development and did not show up on google maps. So it was understandable. Also, the move took a lot longer then anticipated. I basically move furniture from a 3 bedroom house and it took 9 hours, including the hour they were lost. Next time I move, I probably will only ask the big and heavy items to be moved, and move the smaller items myself. Wrapping the many smaller items really took a lot of time. However, they made up for the slow start by moving the furniture into the new house very quickly, I am giving this company 5 stars because they did do a good job, were courteous and did not damage any items.
