Love coming here when I want some good Indian food that is close by. Interior is clean and staff are very friendly and professional. Decent prices. Parking is a little tight because this place shares a parking lot with several other businesses. Highly recommend this spot to anyone.

This hole in the wall is a great find. The gentleman when we walked in was welcoming and made some suggestions. We ordered samosas, chicken korma, chicken tikka, chicken masala and naan. We got medium which gave a nice kick to the food. The only negative was the chicken korma. The curry was watery, and flavorless but everything else we had was delicious.

After Orange Curry, I am officially an Indian food fan! First off, you can taste their Flavorful dishes before you order -- can't beat that! I LOVE the chicken curry -- the heat hits then fades right before the next bite. Pepper chicken is also a fav -- brings the heat big time! They make their butter chicken fresh to order and it is worth the wait -- and by wait I mean like 5 minutes :) The servings are a bang for your buck! The rice is perfectly cooked! The naan is soft & chewy! There is always a parking spot and you can dine in or take out and your food is still hot when you get home. Can you tell I am a HUGE fan?!

The store was clean and the cashier was very nice. We had garlic naan, aloo gobi, veggie korma and chicken tikka masala. I think getting this food around 7pm on a weekday was not wise. The garlic naan was very thin, soft and soggy. The curries, especially korma were not creamy or aromatic like the curry spice and the milk were not mixed well (as you can see from the korma) I had to take tums since the korma sat on my chest all night. Hopefully the food will be fresh and well made during weekend when there might be more customers.

Indian food is something I usually don't crave. But Orange Curry looked good and a quick option because I was hungry at the time. I went around 6:00 pm and found it in a small little plaza with some other businesses nearby. It was a nice little shop that felt cozy and wasn't too busy at that time. After looking at the different options, I decides to get the chicken tikka masala and the garlic naan. The chicken tikka masala was available right away, so I got right to eating it! It had plenty of flavor and there was plenty of chicken in it. The naan was slightly crispy, but easy to tear apart. This was a great option to dip into the chicken tikka masala. The portion of the dishes were very generous; this wasn't something you can finish in one seating. They accept American Express.

This spot is a gem I've been passing by this place for months and never came in until today they have the different stews and Curry's on a hot bar ready to eat with white basmati rice and if you like your spice level much higher they will make the food spicier the black pepper chicken was already decently spiced but I wanted it spicier and it was really good the garlic naan pared so well with the sauce the rice soaked up all of the sauces I also ordered a chicken biryani at spice level 8 the rice was so good the smells of the spices were strong but not overpowering and the large pieces of chicken were great also glad I finally decided to come and try it out I will be coming back again to try the rest of the menu

I stopped by for a quick lunch. I got the 2-item combo for $14, plus a mango Lassy. They even let me sample a couple of the ready-made items before I picked mine. The food tasted really good and had a nice flavor. They also have a good vegetarian selection. The naan is the best they make the fresh and you can choose regular or garlic for a little extra.

This is my second time here. The first time was so yummy, this was going to be my spot. I ordered the same thing masala NO Chicken. It was so watery, and not anything close to what it was the last time I ordered. So disappointed with my lunch. Masala is such a rich dish, creamy, flavorful and all around the best thing ever. Today I tried this restaurant first time. I had 2 items combo price around 9 bucks ( decent). I got tandoori chicken, saag paneer , rice and garlic naan. I ate chicken first and naan I felt chicken was undercooked but nice spices though. I finished naan dipping on sag paneer sauce and finished my chicken with little bit fear as it was undercooked. Within 6-7 minutes I had to run to restroom and throw out ; vomited very bad. I left the restaurant and drove my car through alley I had to stop and vomit again. I went back didn't find parking then just parked in front of Taco Bell went to Taco Bell and had to stay inside restroom for 20 minutes and vomited again. I felt so weak. Went to approach the guy who was working in Indian restaurant offered me a bottle of water. Instead of listening to me he got really quick to show me how people are enjoying the food and no one has problems. He asked me what I ate last night instead of asking what went wrong? If any food I ate was undercooked or any other issues. I wish them good luck ! I did not asked for money to be returned. I just drove back to Pasadena and in bed rest all day. Just be careful raw chicken can give you food poisoning. read more

Wanted Indian takeout and found this fantastic place on yelp! The man behind the counter was so nice and offered lots of samples as it was my first time there. I probably had 6-7 tastings including mango lassi and they were all delicious. Ended up getting a 3 combo item plus a lassi. Welcoming staff at a great place with good food so I'll be back! read more

Excellent hole-in-wall Indian. Very affordable and delicious. Delicious mango lassi as well. Stubborn soda available as well as some bottled drinks. Had the Chicken tikka masala and the eggplant, and my friend had the Aloo Gobhi (cauliflower) and a spiced up chicken curry. The curry isn't hot but you can request it be spiced up, which he did. All excellent. Tidy little place with friendly server/cook. Next to a liquor store, across the street from a Lucille's. Don't go too fast or you might miss it. Cross Street Lewis. Give it a go. I literally saw a take out menu of the Orange Curry on the ground as I was strolling down Chapman Ave and decided to give the place a try. I was definitely not disappointed! I entered the restaurant to a huge welcome from the owner and employees. I enjoyed two picks from a modest but quality selection of staple entrees. Try the black pepper chicken, the spinach paneer, and add on a humongous garlic naan for 50 cents that you could easily share with another person. Lastly, try the mango lassi to lighten and sweeten up the end notes. Thanks for the great service, food, and free shirt!! read more

Tried this place today. I was super excited to see an Indian restaurant in my neighborhood as we don't have many. The staff was super nice and offered me samples. I always order chicken tikka masala so I did here too. I was a little sad to see that they used dark and not white meat. I'm used to white meat. When I tried it the flavor was okay but it definitely tastes better with white meat. I also ordered garlic naan and a mango lassi. The naan was very thick and doughy. The mango lassi was delicious. Not sure if i'll be back. read more

Really good Indian food. Great pricing for the quantity. They give you heaping spoonfuls of food for your combination plates on top of rice. I had to deduct a point because their palak paneer was burnt. You can taste the burnt flavor throughout. Probably burnt the bottom of the pot making it and served the top portion instead of just tossing out the entire pot. Hopefully next time I get this dish, since I really loved it, I will not have the burnt flavor. Will update again. read more

My girlfriend and I were looking for some food place Thats quick and easy, and found this place right next door to our usual chinese spot. Man the food here is great! Personnel are nice and humble! Was quick for sure - inexpensive for sure - but the veggie korma did not taste very good. Tasted like frozen vegetables. Naan also tastes like it was from frozen. We got chicken tikka masala, chile/chipotle chicken (essentially Chinese orange chicken) and chana masala (was good). Definitely won't be going back for dinner but wasn't horrible and would go back for a quick lunch or something. Great price and quick. read more

Our recent fixation has been their kulcha, which has replaced our previous orders of naan. Lots of space to do work and reliable wifi. There's a bathroom in the back as well. I love the songs that they play. Parking can be a little hard to find if it's later in the day. Most of the parking around there is 2 or 3 hour paid parking.

I absolutely loved the soft scramble on Rye. It was a perfect serving size as well as hitting the spot for a not so traditional breakfast. As we're sitting there, I noticed everybody was ordering the lemon ricotta pancakes, so I could not resist and ordered some as well. I will say the most underwhelming part of that was the lemon ricotta pancakes due to the ratios for the pancake pancakes and lemon ricotta. Overall, my experience was spectacular. I cannot wait to go back to Bluestone Lane to try other menu items.

The guy working said to the people in front of me that they sold out. It was my turn I asked if they had it and the guy said that they had a line since 3pm and that they sold out of the keg. We ended up getting two beers since we went anyways but that's when things didn't add up. He kept telling all the other people that started to show up the same thing. These are reasons why it didn't add up 1) empty seats inside but had a line since 3pm and beer was released at 4pm 2) I don't think the people going for younger would just order one beer and not try other RR beers? 3) only one guy working beer counter and having to clean the tables and make sandwiches? 4) 12 oz pours of beer and keg with about 1984 oz would make it 166 beers. No way they sold 166 beers in an hour with one person working the bar and shop empty in an hour. They could have posted on their instagram or socials that they sold out but failed to do so. I'm sure a lot of people all night were disappointed to see that they didn't have it or post anything about it.

This is by far the most affordable place to get Indian food. It's quick place to grab food on your break, the food is served like at chinease restatant.
