I always like coming here for lunch when I'm in the area. Hours are around 11 am till 3:30 for lunch which ends later than a lot of places. There are a decent amount of entrees for around $15 and up. I like the somewhat starter sweet plain cabbage soup starter, served along with a romaine lettuce side salad with a coupe of grape tomatoes, a teeny piece of avocado and cantaloupe. I wish the soup wasn't so sweet but cabbage is a good of sulforophane - an antioxidant. And they give you an egg roll. I typically order one of the curry dishes - the yellow is probably the ,post popular with pieces of carrot, onions, and potatoes. The coconut and yellow curry is the mildest of the curries, and a tad too sweet im my opinion. But otherwise, I like the coconut milk with turmeric-curry flavor and the generous pieces of chicken. A friend of mine sometimes meets me here for lunch and orders the shrimp pad Thai which is an extra $2 I think. The lunch size portions are smaller than the dinner entree sizes but filling enough for most. Some says from 12 noon to 2 PM you might have to wait. Parking might be a little crowded as there is a laundry next door. Service overall is prompt but sometimes when it's crowded you will have to wait for your order and your food. My coworkers suggested that we eat here before a meeting in the area. This was a perfect opportunity for a re-do since I did not enjoy the dish that I had the last time we were here. We arrived around 12:30 on a Wednesday afternoon. We were able to be seated with just one more table available. I intended to get a dish and not ask for any modifications so that the kitchen would not have a chance to mess up the order. I chose the red curry with chicken lunch special. This was so much more tasty and satisfying compared to my last dish about a year ago. Even the side salad was tasty and more fresh than the last time. This includes a creamy tangy dressing, which is pretty good. It's a small amount but just right for lunch. The salad consisted of hearts of romaine lettuce with a slice of tomato and a sliver of cantaloupe and sliver of sliced avocado. It also came with a small egg roll with a touch of sweet chili sauce. After that, a bowl of cabbage soup was brought out. Fortunately, the cabbage was not over-boiled this time. Loved my first time dining experience at Lanta Thai Fusion with friends. I ordered one of their specials which included a ribeye & it was extremely tender and flavorful! This dish had one chili pepper on it and for somebody who is sensitive to spice, it definitely had a kick but I could still eat the dish. Shoutout to my friend's Pad Thai dish, which was extremely huge and could probably make 2-3 leftover meals. I definitely have to try this someday. Although the waiter mentioned that there would be some spiciness to both beef dishes, I didn't find them spicy at all. Nevertheless, no complaints regarding the spiciness as the dishes tasted good. The pad thai was seasoned with just the right balance of sweetness and degree of tamarind flavor. The mango with coconut sticky rice and the coconut ice cream with fried bananas were also very tasty. I absolutely love this place since the day my parents showed me this spot! I usually get the Tom Yum spicy with shrimp or chicken, best believe it's super yummier when spicy love it! And the fried rice is my absolute FAVORITE!! I don't know how they make their rice but they make it so perfect and it just melts in your mouth, I love the way it taste so freaking good!! All the years I've been coming here and I realize I haven't left a review. Every time in the past I've come for lunch. They have amazing lunch specials that include soup and appetizer. Because of this they are very busy during lunch. Six of us just went for dinner on a Tuesday night. It was not packed like lunch so we got right in. I ordered one of my favorites the beef panang. Dinner menu is large portions with only rice as an accompaniment. They were decorated for Halloween and even had pumpkin pens for signing our charge slips. I've ordered chicken satay from them before and those were pretty good, but my order this time just didn't quite meet the mark: 3/5 unlike other Thai restaurants, they mixed the lettuce with the meat in the same to go box, which made the lettuce very wilted and soggy, and of course, reduced the amount of protein in the dish. It was also much sweeter and had a lot more fish sauce than I'm used to. 2/5 beef pad see ew was very charred and bitter, and the beef was tough. 4/5 chicken panang was oily and much milder in spicy level than I'm used to, but flavor and amount of protein was decent. 3/5 tom yum soup - good flavor but also sweeter and milder than I'm used to.
