My wife and I decided to do Brunch with our daughters and grandsons. It was our oldest daughter and grandsons first time and as always the experience was amazing for them and all of us. The service is impeccable, the servers move like ninjas, your beverage is low and the next thing you know your beverages are replenished or empty plates are removed. It's a beautiful ambiance and the food is superb. There is a chef who makes omelets to your specification and he also prepares the fresh baked waffles. There is a carving station also where he also slices the meat of the day. There is also a full bar for those who like a libation with their brunch. Definitely a go to place each Sunday from 11:00am-2:30pm. The price recently increased due to you know who from $24.00 to $35.00. However again it's is so worth a visit

Only on Sunday they have a buffet style bench/lunch. It's white linen tablecloth and napkins. Thd servers are in white jackets. One half of restaurant is dedicated to the brunch and other half is a regular restaurant. The buffet is from 11-2PM As we work to our table. You can see what is on the menu. I can't wait to and fill my plate. Remember this is buffet which You can take as much as you want and times you want They have a beverage list quite extensive. I ask for. Bloody Mary. It's quite good. The steak was hard. Difficult to chew. I loved this place. But it's getting expensive. and it was limited to what they had

New to the area, we found this gem! Absolutely delicious, from their homemade bread to dessert, definitely deserves a return visit. We started with their peach sangria, then enjoy their homemade bread, followed by their cauliflower fritter appetizer. For dinner we had the Thai red curry vegetable dish with chicken added and a side of the most fluffiest and delicious basmati rice, and the scallop and shrimp over a mushroom asparagus risotto. Everything was cooked perfectly, the staff was lovely and if you haven't been... go!!

Very sweet -- they overheard us say that it was my birthday so when they brought out our creme brûlée dessert they did this. :)

I think we'd give this restaurant an overwhelming "it was fine." We both had the filet -- we know chefs probably roll their eyes whenever we order filet medium well. But usually they can just butterfly the meat and can do that. Our meat was definitely overcooked -- I ate mine because I was hungry, the person I was with couldn't finish hers. The meat came with kind of plain cooked veggies in butter and a scoop of potatoes. So again, nothing to complain about, but I wouldn't rave, either. The decor and ambience were nice, as were the servers. Nothing particularly "bad," just nothing we'd rave about.

I have been to Orange Hill so many times, it is on my top five restaurant in Newburgh. First striking is the decor, walking in the bar is stunning! Their Cafe section is very chic while the dinning area is very romantic, specially in the winter when they turn on the fireplace. Plenty of tables they do buffet for Sunday brunch, it is beautifully layed out with a large array of items. The pear dessert and the bread pudding are mouth watering delicious. Their drinks are beautiful and will sneak up on you, so be careful with how many you drink. They have a fairly wine menu. Every single item my companion I have tried have been so delicious except for the oyster and spinach dish, not sure exactly what happened there but it was very disappointing in my opinion. Service is always so attentive, I can't say enough about their service. One of the most beautiful, hidden gem restaurant in the town of Newburgh a absolutely 100% hands down must go.

This restaurant is absolutely adorable. Listen. Pls excuse me but, that food was so delicious I didn't even remember to take pics. The decor is super adorable, fantastic family atmosphere, the servers super sweet and freindly. Service was excellent. A shitake load of parking. Nice and clean restaurant plus!!! the bathroom was clean and if you've read my other reviews you will know right away I'm a huge fan of clean bathrooms . I'm DEFINITELY coming back to this affordable spot with the rest of the family. Ohhh. I ordered chicken soup ( had veggies, tasted Delicious) chicken was oh so dam crunchy and tasty. Nothing overpowering as far as seasonings. Feerreeessshhhest French fries! The chicken sandwich was DELICIOUS especially that real Italian bread they use. 100 stars for me!

The experience here was a little hit and miss. For the most part, the food was delicious, but there were a few hiccups I think could be addressed. The seafood marinara sauce was surprisingly spicy and a little too sweet for my taste. The rack of lamb was to die for but the sides that accompanied the lamb were pretty mediocre. Overall the meal was good and I'd happily come back. As far as the service goes, I love chugging water and the constant refills had me elated. The food came out quite slowly though. The staff seemed a little frantic at times so probably just a busy night.

Nice and clean inside. I got the swordfish and it was really good. The potatoes were also perfectly seasoned and cooked. My family didn't love it though. None of them loved their pasta dishes. My sister got the filet mignon and said it was overcooked and not very good. It was also overpriced, but the service was good. I'd recommend it, just be careful what you order.

It's not a secret this is my current favorite restaurant in Newburgh Ny. I have yet to order anything that I did not truly enjoy. My current favorite meal is theHudson valley duck. On this visit I did branch out to try a lunch special. I can't recall the name but it was a seafood dish that comes with fried fish, fried shrimp, fried calamari, and French fries. All of the seafood was very fresh and perfectly fried. The portion size was huge for the price- it was big enough for two meals. The dipping sauce is a chili mayo that is phenomenal. The fries I requested extra crunchy and they come with some type of seasoning that is amazing. I couldn't quite place the seasoning because it was perfectly present, not over seasoned at all. I didn't use ketchup because the fries were tasty alone. I ordered oysters Rockefeller because it is also a favorite here. How could anyone resist champagne foam? I can't wait to return for brunch in the future. The restaurant is currently under construction, however the dining room is still beautiful. This is definitely fitting for an impressive date night, business meeting, or bar meet up with the homies. They have a happy hour with specials too. I can not say enough good things about orange hill. Now the food has to be good if I'm not taking a star off for this negative... the service can be slow. Whether you sit at the bar or dine in. If there's a crowd or a few ppl it's always slow. Just keep in mind anything worth having is worth waiting for.

Overall a fairly satisfying dinner. Upon perusing the menu, I went with a review favorite, the spaghetti Bolognese. It came via DoorDash and though they kept pushing the time back (an extra 18 minutes), the DoorDash person was quick to get it into the hotel and to meet in the lobby. He was friendly and made sure I had a good grip of it because the entrée was heavy. You get a lot of food with this order. There's a lot of pasta, good tasting sauce, and meat. I thought the pasta was cooked perfectly. The sauce and meat weren't overly spicy or bland. Overall, it was a nice blend of texture and flavor. It would be nice if it came with a complementary side salad and most importantly, a side of utensils! It would be nice if these people thought about where the delivery is going and made a presumption that the people eating a meal might need something to eat with

Went here on an impromptu date night. Very welcoming! All the food was top notch. (We had the mussels, crab cakes, mushroom soup, chicken tikka, and creme brûlée). The chicken was soooo moist and tender! Excellent flavors and presentation all around. Wait staff was A+++++. Drinks were delicious too, excellent cocktails and craft beers. Will be back! read more

World cuisine. They have curries and some classic Italian favorites. Everything is nicely plated and seasoned. A nice sophisticated eatery in and easy to reach location. (Right by Barnes and Noble plaza). Interior is calm. Hubster and I have been a few times for dates. read more

Traveling from Montreal to Philadelphia, my husband and I stopped for dinner near Rte. 87 at Orange Hill Restaurant. Very pleasantly surprised with great food(pork chops and salmon), plus comfortable lovely ambience. Good value for great food and surroundings. read more

I came here on a Saturday night. Don't be tricked by the outside, the interiors look very chic and classy. They have a really good bar with a few screens too, We ordered a few appetizers to share. Every dish was cooked really well, and plated beautifully. We enjoyed the Steamed Mussels, which came with a very flavorful Thai style sauce, wings and the calamari and shrimp. We also had a palate cleanser after the appetizers, which was a refreshing change. For main course, we tried the swordfish, roast chicken and chicken quesadillas, all of which were cooked perfectly. Deserts were delicious too. Service was very attentive. This is definitely a fancy experience with very reasonable prices. read more

I regret not coming here sooner. This was one of the top 5 steaks I've had in my life. The veggies were excellent. My husband's sirloin he said top 10 of his life. Awesome, kind and attentive staff. I had the new old fashioned and the berry tulip and these drinks were SPOT ON. Like I was at an upscale manhattan restaurant. It was CLEAN. The menu has VARIETY. I thought about the jackfruit plate but I'm going to get that next time. It was SO clean and so upscale looking I felt dressed down in my tee shirt and jeans. The food was disgusting. I would never go back to Orange Hill. I ordered lamb chops with supposedly Yukon mashed potatoes and veggies. I wanted my lamb chops medium well it was raw, with no flavor. Th mashed potatoes tasted like instant mashed potatoes, the vegetables tasted like they was frozen and placed in the microwave. They gave me a side aloft what look like green jello, in which I was told that it was mint jello that was supposed to compliment the lamb chops. The waiter took off 20 dollars but didn't apologize. It was the worst I ever had. When I got home I threw up what food I did consume. They can not cook!!! If you like bland, uncooked food I guess you can go there. Awful read more

Food was really good but service was extremely lacking. The service took entirely too long. Spent almost two hours here and there were only two other patrons there when we arrived. No bread or anything on the table when the wait for our food was a good thirty minutes. Then, after waiting another 15 minutes, my dessert never came out. Once the waiter brought the check and I let him know I was still waiting for my dessert, but I no longer wanted it, he said that it would take a minute to get it. He came back in a minute to say that they were all out. On the way out, saw a couple of other diners with bread on their table. Don't think I will be back. read more

Brunch was perfect. Buffet style with a vast assortment of everything. Muffins, breads, eggs, bacon, sausage, ham carving station, fried chicken, omelet station, chicken piccata, Mac and cheese, pesto tortellini, seafood paella, salmon, steak, fresh made waffles, a chocolate station with fresh fruit, salads, soup and desserts for days. I left things out for sure. Food is always delicious here and this brunch was completely satisfying. Service is super friendly. I didn't get any pictures because my plates were so full of variety and I was hungry. read more

I left my work on Sunday, I was looking with my husband and son, a place open for dinner at 8:00 p.m. We were lucky to find this wonderful restaurant. A nice, clean place, with excellent attention from the waiter, and then we were surprised by an exquisite and delicious food . We never imagined finding the best dinner in a casual moment. Thanks. we were on a road trip and we found this hidden gem! when we pulled up we almost left because the outside has construction being done... I'm so glad we stayed. We had lunch and it was amazing! My picky daughters even finished their whole plate. great prices for delicious food. must try the chicken tikka sandwich. This will be our new stop on our way upstate. read more

If you like snobby service and less the mediocre food this is the place for you!!!! The food has little to no flavor whatsoever. The staff gives off this super weird persona that your at the most fine-dining upscale restaurant In Manhattan when they're working out of a make shift diner on the side of a highway. Overpriced will not be coming back here that is for sure. Customers should be treated like customers when here definitely not the case. read more

Global indeed. Well, I'll start off by saying, we went into the restaurant not knowing what they offered, or even if we were dressed appropriately, but what the hell, it was a Sunday night. Wow! Very eye appealing. Fresh, clean, Nuevo. So far so good! The menu had a nice mixture of entree's, I believe all the meats were represented, fish, vegetarian, and all totally different than anything in the area. The food was excellent! Presentation was even more excellent, and the staff was very attentive and professional. If you're thinking of going there, GO! It's different! It's clean and fresh, (and so was the food) There's even a lunch buffet that basically has everything that's on the menu. If you want to tantalize your palette, go try something different. Global indeed! Flavors range from America to Asia, and the Middle East I believe. I'm no food flavor expert, but I thought I smelled curry passing by me. Check out my pictures, because I actually forgot the names of the dishes, but they were good! And I won't forget that. read more

Went for brunch. Giving two stars because food was slightly above average but staff is below average. Had a reservation and they wrote down the wrong amount of people. Had to wait whole other parties got sat. Asked for a manager but he didn't know how to do his job either. Got OVERcharged for the small buffet. Will not return. read more

We yelped for a dining spot near newburgh airport due to a few hours delay in our flight. What a find Orange Hill Global Bistro was!! Lovely ambiance, attentive servers, varied and interesting menu with true global selections. All four things we ordered were fantastic. And food brought to others around us looked terrific too. And international beers as well. Don't eat fast food, or 'fast casual', go to Orange Hill!! You will not be disappointed! read more

Fabulous! Always looking for great food while traveling to Vermont but do not want to travel too far off the Thruway. This was an easy drive off and back on. Chicken Tikka was amazing - so tender and the rice was great too! My husband's short ribs and polenta heavenly! - the hot crusty bread which they brought out as soon as we sat down was delicious. Veggie sides were super fresh - green beans, carrots broccoli, and new to me - purple broccoli and purple cauliflower. The veggies were steamed (or sauteed?) lightly so they were still crunchy and they were not drenched in butter. There is a great discount by checking in on yelp - 20%! WOW! Thank you Orange Hill Global Bistro (AND THANK YOU YELP!) Please don't let the outside of this restaurant turn you away. It looks like an old diner from the outside but the interior is cool and inviting! read more

Our son told my wife and me about OH and we have been there twice since in the last month and tomorrow will be the third. Good comments do not do it justice! Everything from the decor and ambiance, the serving staff, the food and the presentation were exceptional! We invited another couple to join us the second time and they also raved about it. I haven't spoken to anyone who hasn't enjoyed it. In an area filled with fast food chains and mostly average restaurants, OH takes it to another level. It it truly a hidden gem. Everything was wonderful! As a party of 3, each of us had excellent entrees, and of the 3, the Chicken Tikka and the Shrimp Malai were particularly wonderful (see photos). As you can see from the photos, the presentation is also exceptional and the service and atmosphere enhances the overall experience. I am certainly coming back...often! read more

This has to be the dirtiest restaurant I have ever been inside. Floors look like they haven't been cleaned in years. They took the buffet covers and pans and put them on the floor, wiped them down with windex instead of bringing them to the back wash them properly. The quinoa in my salad was raw and so hard it was impossible to chew. I will never go here again. read more

The food was good but the service was horrible. The staff was rude and they didn't know how to service Americans for a Sunday Brunch. We had to beg for the basics, water and coffee. I was totally taken back when the waiter told me you are the 3rd person that asked can't you see we are busy. We will get to you. We had been there for 45 minutes already and had begun to eat. We were staying near the airport and found this amazing restaurant. A wide variety of menu choices, which was suitable for my picky eaters. I had the chicken tikka masala (yum), I also had the quinoa salad (once again, yum) my husband had the fish and chips, and the kiddo had baked Mac n cheese. All of it was delicious, tasted fresh and made from scratch. We all agreed this would be our new favorite place to eat whenever we come into town. What looks like an unassuming Japanese style rectangular building on the outside is nothing but inside. You are immediately transported to a (somewhat tacky, in a fun way) Japanese home on the inside with those late 1970s vibes. There are water features, like a small Koi pond, and a waterfall inside, which is full of fake cherry blossom trees and a dimly lit scene, complete with purple Christmas lights. Each nook and cranny is a little different and there are tables and booths set throughout, which are meant to put you in your own little corner of this interesting world of a cartoonish Japanese village. The food can be hit or miss, depending on your order and the delightful cheesiness of the decor matches the menu ... with a lot of classics from the 1980s, including American Chinese/Polynesian inspired appetizers. The eggroll here is the best I've ever had. It's enormous and freshly made. It's not the frozen and fried kind ... you can actually see the soft inner-egg later within its fried shell. It's full of chopped pork and seasoned perfectly. It comes on its own silver warning tray and is more the size of a small burrito than anything you'd pull out of a white cardboard container at a traditional Chinese restaurant. Get the eggroll. The main courses have a lot going on. Sauces, meat, vegetables. They are pretty big and the sauces seem homemade. The house specialties are unique and prepared thoughtfully, many with exotic flavours or strange combinations you won't find elsewhere. The sushi is also done well ... as if it was a real Japanese sushi chef. The staff is very warm and friendly. From the hostess, who could be a NYC fashion model, and makes an effort to seat each table away from other tables when possible ... to the waiter whom has been there for the decades I've been going there and I don't think I've ever seen him not smiling and laughing in all my trips. They play a mix of music with Martin Denny and Henry Mancini lounge classics being my favourite because it really makes like you feel that you are in a different decade. The food was delicious, the service great, and the ambience was nice and serene. I've heard so much about them and they definitely lived up to the hype. Their samosas are big and very stuffed and have great seasoning. The chicken tikka sandwich was soo good. The skewered chicken platter, Cajun pasta platter, and the rack of lamb were also all delicious. All the platters were nice and made with care and love. They were generous portions and very filling. Been waiting for the soft open to occur to try this place. Stopped in for lunch buffet. The decor and music is cool , the service friendly, and the lunch buffet very much worth the $15.99 they're charging. I'll be back for dinner for sure. read more
