Went to see Dr Tran after almost 2 years of pain in a tooth that had a root canal and crown placed from previous dentist facility that never fixed my pain after multiple follow up appointments. My tooth ended being pulled by her as the root was fractured and was infected. I'm on day 2 and pain is gone I'm feeling much better and will see her again. I was sent to her by my dentist to pull a tooth! I asked if they are in network for my insurance and my dentist office and their office told me they are. One tooth to pull that took her not even 7 minutes and a cream she put on ( bone graft) cost $1384. Her staff were so militant and literally wouldn't let me leave their office till paid and they told me if I pay cash I get 10% so I said let me go get cash they told me I cant leave till I pay. So I paid in full and they said if Insurance pays I get my money back. Now they sent another bill. My insurance paid $300 because they are out of network which they did not tell me or I would have gone somewhere else. The going rate for pulling a tooth in Orange County is $75 to $650! I feel she totally ripped me off! I do not recommend her at all. She needs to give her price upfront and I should have known she is not in my insurance network!! Way overpriced! read more

was very apprehensive about the extraction of a wisdom tooth and two other molars from 3 different areas of my mouth. Based on reputation I decided on Dr Lisa Tran, and I made a very good decision. The front office staff is nice and the back office staff is warm and seems focused on putting you at ease. I met Dr Tran for a consultation prior to surgery and I immediately liked her factual and straightforward communication style because it is accompanied by a warm and confident manner that is reassuring. I elected to have IV sedation for the procedure and from beginning to end it was smooth. I didn't feel the IV go in (I'm a nurse and a hand IV is usually a bit of hurt), and quickly after that I was out. I was home within an hour of arriving to have the procedure, fully awake and pain free. I had hardly any bleeding, never had any pain, and I did not have any swelling. The most challenging part of the whole experience is eating only soft foods for the first few days. I highly recommend Dr. Tran. read more
